“Jo was absolutely brilliant with our two boys. We’d decided that they were being made too anxious by cattery stays, and Jo was available to come in twice a day to look after them. Her kindness, professionalism and genuinely cheerful personality made this decision the best one we’ve made in a while. We had reports back from her after each visit and loads of photos which put us completely at ease while we were away. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Jo!”

“Ailie was fantastic looking after our cat; our cat was relaxed, eating normally, and happy while we were away, which says everything. We had complete peace of mind and would absolutely recommend her. We’ll definitely be using her again!”

About: Calm, patient, and reliable. Experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and nervous dogs, providing loving, attentive care while maintaining their routine and building trust for all. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule carefully so every visit gets plenty of time, attention, play, feeding, and lots of affection without being rushed. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my priority. I follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if required), and plenty of affection. I keep homes tidy and secure, provide regular updates with photos, and make sure your pet feels relaxed, loved, and well cared for while you're away.
About: I have had a family dog all my life and have recently moved out and bought my own dog (a female Vizsla called Ruby!) I grew up with 3 different pet labradors and regularly pet sit for my brothers Labrador so know this breed very well. However, I have also had experience in pet sitting other breeds! Owning a Vizsla gives me an insight into more “complex” working dog breeds. I understand how some dogs do not tire from physical exercise alone and need the mental stimulation to settle down. I have also spent a long time teaching my dog a solid recall and loose lead etiquette. When it comes to playing and relaxing indoors, I am very open minded! I have a “dogs allowed on furniture and beds” kind of household, but will obviously respect those who wish their dogs to remain in their own spaces and areas :) That being said, I’m happy to have a snuggle on the sofa with any dogs who wish and a play in the garden. I do not have kids, but I do share my house with my dog Ruby, as mentioned, and she is a typical energetic young Vizsla. She may be a little “too much” for very old dogs, very tiny timid dogs and other dogs that may be reactive or have a tendency to resource guard. Whilst she is very friendly, she does like to play and i understand if this isn’t a suitable environment for all dogs. Ruby is also not currently neutered due to age and seasons etc. I’d always encourage a meet and great before any daycare sessions! Happy to talk through any concerns you may have or answer any questions. Above all, I adore dogs of all breeds and I’m very happy to talk, meet and get to know your dog before any daycare/boarding stays. I’m also happy to take on any awkward feeding schedules and oral administered medicine (please not I am NOT medically trained with animals however). I work from home so I am around my house all day. I have flexible hours and access to a car. I am also home most evenings Monday - Friday. Weekend availability is usually less structured so always happy to talk through when I’m around! I have a fenced garden and live on a quiet street in ickleton. I have a large kitchen, downstairs “walk in” style shower room, and comfy sofa that dogs are welcome to roam on. I have a friendly Vizsla to keep your dog entertained! I have a car so can offer pick up/drop offs for an extra cost if needed. I have loads of beautiful walks on our doorstep, including rivers to paddle in, quiet cattle-free fields to throw a ball in and quiet streets to practise any loose-lead walking.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My dog sitting journey started in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since. Initially it started when my friend needed someone to look after her rescue dog when she went away for the weekend, 6 years later and he’s a regular! I am quite flexible but sometimes my availability will work around my current work schedule. I have several days off in the week and every other weekend off. I will always do a visit prior to the start of the dog sit/check in visit - this is to ensure the care I offer is best suited for myself, you and your pet

“We had a great experience with Sian during her drop-in visit for our two dogs, Conrad and CJ. Communication was excellent throughout, which we really appreciated! CJ can be a bit grumpy at times, and Sian handled it perfectly by just giving him space and letting him be 😁Conrad, on the other hand, was thrilled to have a new friend and clearly enjoyed the visit!☺️ Thank you again, Sian, for taking such good care of them, we’d happily book again! X”

About: Hi there! My name is Lyall and I am based in Edwalton. I have owned a half Persian half tabby cat for nearly 14 years called Tiger. We had her from a kitten right through to her old age and nursed her through cancer which resulted in having to amputate a leg, so I am fully aware of how to care for a cat / administer medication and injections. Since April 2020 my wife and I have fostered 6 cats/kittens which required nursing back to health before going on to their forever homes - each one taking a piece of our hearts away with them!! We've since had another kitten named Teddy who has grown up with our daughter and is such a ginger cat! Loving but also independent! I am a hard-working, trustworthy, business professional working remotely and would love to help out cat-sitting when you are away. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Lyall I work fully remote managing my own schedule and have a car, so can be available last minute. Happy to work to whatever schedule works best for your pet. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to look at pets at my home currently. I will work with you to understand how best to fit into your current pet’s schedule to minimize any disruption.
About: I have owned cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a number of years for friends and relatives. I have also walked dogs and looked after them for family whenever they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the afternoons/evenings during the week days and I am available all times throughout the weekends to look after your furry friends! I would ensure that when visiting a customers house the cat/dog is comfortable around me and will ensure they get lots of cuddles attention and walks. I would not let any animal out of my sight, unless the cats have a cat flap.

“Nobody could've taken better care of Barney than Liam! He left everything in perfect order. He cared for Barney as if she was his own. I can highly recommend Liam to anyone wanting a cat sitter. I don't think you can find anyone better. I would only leave Barney with someone trustworthy who would take great care of her. ”

About: Hey 👋 I’m Natalie - full-time dog walker, drop-in visitor, and lifelong dog enthusiast. I’ve spent my whole life around dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and nothing makes me happier than getting to know each dog as the quirky little individual they are. I grew up with two energetic boxers who taught me everything about patience, structure, and building deep bonds with dogs. Since then, I’ve cared for countless breeds - cockers, staffies, labs, shih tzus, bichon mixes, and many wonderful one-of-a-kind pups. These days, I split my time between walking dogs around Duxford Village and the surrounding areas, and welcoming the occasional pup into my home for a comfortable, chilled stay. When I’m not out on walks, you’ll usually find me working from home with a dog snoozing nearby, reading up on dog behaviour, or fussing over someone else’s dog at a cafe. When caring for your dog, I focus on: ✨ Building trust at their pace ✨ Providing fulfilling, sniff-filled walks ✨ Keeping their routine consistent ✨ Offering enrichment without overstimulation ✨ Ensuring they feel safe, understood, and happy I’m confident with puppies, adolescents, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra reassurance. I’m also happy to follow your training cues, administer basic medications, and keep your dog’s routine exactly as you prefer. A few quick notes: 🐾 Free meet & greet for all new bookings 🐾 I’ll always ask about schedule, behaviours, triggers, and preferences before a first visit 🐾 I welcome dogs of all sizes for walks or visits 🐾 My home is a ground-floor, dog-friendly maisonette with a small fenced outdoor area Your dog becomes part of the family when they’re with me, and I treat them with the same love, patience, and care as if they were my own. Dog walking and drop-ins are my full-time focus. I’m out and about on walks every day, and when I’m not outside, I’m usually at home giving boarding pups lots of company, enrichment, and calm downtime. Because of my flexible working setup, I’m able to offer daytime visits, scheduled walks, reactive-friendly walks, and home-based companionship for boarding dogs who need someone around for most of the day. Overnight boarding is available for dogs who are comfortable being left for up to 2–3 hours at a time, usually while I’m at the gym or running quick errands. My Rover calendar is always kept up to date. Whether I’m visiting your home or your dog is staying with me, their safety and wellbeing come first. For walking & drop-ins, I: ✔ Follow your dog’s normal routine ✔ Pay close attention to behavioural needs and triggers ✔ Use safe walking routes with plenty of green spaces ✔ Prioritise calm, controlled, positive experiences ✔ Keep walks appropriately paced and enriched, not overwhelming If your dog is staying with me, they’ll be in a cosy, ground-floor home with a small fenced outdoor area and easy access to quiet walking spots, green areas, and longer countryside routes. I only take on dogs I can safely and comfortably care for, ensuring each pup gets the time, attention, and understanding they deserve.
