Thank you so much for looking after Nutmeg so well. She was very happy and healthy after her stay with you. You had very carefully not let her walk much as requested, as her leg is healing, and it is loads better, so thank you! ☺️

About: Hello! My name is Aleksandra (or Sasha), and I’m a huge dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your beloved furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my experience. I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Drop me a message and I will be happy to chat! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week. My office days are usually Monday and Thursday, but can be adjusted if needed. My weekends are usually free, so I can easily help out with walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting when needed. I live in a secure apartment building, so any dogs staying with me will be in a safe and supervised environment. I only take on a limited number of dogs at a time so that I can give each one plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable. I’m also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walks within Saffron Walden, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I have a 12-year-old dog who gets along well with most dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes. For that reason, I would prefer to arrange a first meeting in a neutral open space, such as a park area, before any stay in my home. I find that this helps dogs get to know each other more comfortably and makes the experience much smoother for everyone. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll make sure your dog is treated with the same care and attention that I give my own.

Jess was great, very responsive and really attentive to quite the nervous dog. She went out of her way to make sure our dog was well cared for and gave us regular updates. Would definitely use her again and can't thank her and her partner enough for the care provided.

Lukie had stayed with Danuta before and had had a great time. When we saw that she was available for the time of our holiday, we asked to book with her right away! Once again, we are deeply grateful for the amazing care she and her family gave Lukie and their companionship to him. Always prompt in her communication with us, and she also sent us several pictures on a daily basis so we could stay informed of Lukie’s amazing walks! When we picked Lukie up he was of course happy to see us but he was also very calm, which reassured us he had felt comfortable at Danuta’s home. Thanks so much for such great care!!! Hopefully we can make it work again :-)

Hank obviously had a great stay with Alanna, Alex and Dill. He quickly settled in their home being made very welcome. Lots of different long walks, culminating in snuggles in their comfy warm home. Alanna kept me regularly updated with photos and snippets of their outings. Such a successful stay he’s booked in again for April. Thank you!

Kinga was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. She kindly took our late booking and asked lots of questions, making sure our boy would be as comfortable as possible. Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.

About: Hi, I’m Ruth. I have grown up with animals and have cared for a wide variety of weird and wonderful pets, including cats, dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits and Guinea pigs. I’m caring and patient, and have always enjoyed the company of animals. I'm also able to administer medication to pets should they require this, and I have some experience with reactive dogs, too. I'm currently working full time on site in Hinxton, Cambridge; however, for ~1 week pet sitting, I am willing to book holiday for either the full or part of the booking to ensure I am available for your pet. Please note due to allergies I am unable to pet sit in smoking houses. I only provide care in your home. If your dog is a puppy under 1-year old I will be in the home with the pup at all times. I will follow any special instructions you require. I work full time in Hinxton; however, if a booking is ~ for one week, I am willing to book a holiday to be available full time for your pet. I only provide care in your home. On walks, dogs will remain on lead at all times, even if they have excellent recall. If your pet has any health issues that you are aware of, as make me aware. I am happy to administer mediation, and in worst-case scenarios, I own a car and would be able to take your pet to the vet in emergencies.

About: Hi! I’m a self-employed dog lover who works from home Monday–Friday, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, walks and, of course, cuddles! I live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with my own dog, Vinny. While we don’t have a private garden, we do have a communal outdoor space for toilet breaks, and I make sure Vinny gets two 45-minute walks every day. We’re lucky to have plenty of lovely options nearby, from open fields and woodland to peaceful walks through the village. At home, life is nice and relaxed. Vinny is usually snoozing on the sofa, or happily working away at a frozen Kong or LickiMat. I’m happy to keep your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, whether they’re full of energy and love a good walk or are more of a professional sofa-snoozer! I’ve always loved animals and have had pets throughout my life, including dogs, rabbits and ducks. We’d love to have a second dog of our own one day, but in the meantime I’d love to welcome some local four-legged friends into our home and give them a safe, comfortable and loving place to stay. Your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I’d love to meet you and your pup and see if we’re a good match! Thank you Jemma for making Marley feel so at home - my kids thought he genuinely looked sad when we took he home! I am sure he cannot wait to stay again. Knowing he was so well looked after and that you enjoyed it also, gives me so much relief and reassurance. Jemma was very accommodating at having an initial meeting, and kept me updated with pictures over the weekend. As this was the first time I have left him with someone that wasn't family, I am so pleased to have found Jemma and really look forward to the next time!

About: What sets me apart is my flexibility and genuine love for animals. I work from home, so I can provide care throughout the day, including for pets that need extra attention or companionship. I'm also able to drive, making it easy for me to travel to your home. I've cared for pets with separation anxiety, high-energy dogs that need long walks, and pets that require more frequent care and supervision. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Working from home allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs multiple walks, regular playtime, companionship, or extra supervision, I can easily adapt to their routine. Rebecca is amazing! My cat had an injury and she was able to take her to the vets, administer medication and look after her, when I had to be away. I had to change the type of booking and she made it so easy. I had every day updates and pictures of my cat. I can't recommend her enough, Bella (my cat) has been so well looked after! 100% would contact her again if I have to.

Milly was with Natalie for a couple of days. Milly settled in fine and made herself at home. Natalie sent over several photos of Milly during the time she had her and Milly was having fun. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Natalie to look after Milly again.

This was Toby's first time staying away from home since we adopted him and Natalie was perfect! She made sure we knew all the important info and told us what to bring so Toby would feel comfortable. Her home is perfect for dogs and she clearly understands the specific needs of each dog - we were confident that if he was nervous or stressed, she'd make sure he felt comfortable. Natalie made sure we had updates throughout Toby's stay and plenty of pictures. We knew he would be happy with Natalie, but when we picked him up, we weren't sure he'd want to come home! We can't wait to book in another stay, and maybe even some daytime visits.
