“Thank you so much for looking after Nutmeg so well. She was very happy and healthy after her stay with you. You had very carefully not let her walk much as requested, as her leg is healing, and it is loads better, so thank you! ☺️”

“Excellent!! We used Steven for the first time and he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, accommodating and a good communicator. We’re so thankful for his care of our Mika and would use him again. Thank you Steven! 😊”

“Moose had a wonderful stay with Lauren. He adored the whole family and was well looked after. We were regularly updated on how he was doing. Thank you!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous professional dog handling background, which has given me confidence in caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable looking after energetic puppies, larger breeds, and older dogs who may need a gentler pace and extra patience. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every dog, I treat each one as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and attentive to every pet’s individual needs. Due to Army commitments, my standard availability is weekends. However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.
“Our Retriever enjoyed a very happy stay with Sally, photos were sent every day. They looked after him with love and care and we couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent dog sitters and would highly recommend.”

“We felt immediately at ease leaving Tess with George and we were kept updated later in the day that she had settled well and that was good to hear as we hadnt left her with anyone other than family I would recommend George and definitely will be happy to use again .”

“Danuta and her family were so accommodating and kind, making sure Floki’s first night away from us was comfortable and reassuring. They went above and beyond to help him settle in and have fun. We’d be delighted for him to stay with them again — their location and flexibility made everything easy and stress-free for us.”

About: We’re Alice and Josh - a calm, reliable married couple. We’ve grown up with dogs. We currently have a friendly rescue Lurcher called Mona who we trained ourselves. We’re experienced with walks, enrichment, basic training and play. We work from home and love getting out before work, at lunch and after work for nice walks. We are keen to welcome more dogs into our home and introduce Mona to some friends. We work from home most week days and have flexible jobs. One of us is always at home with our Lurcher Mona. We go out for a morning, lunchtime and evening walk and love getting outside into nature around Sawston. We do enrichment and training as much as we can. We have a small secure fenced garden. We have plenty of nice walks on our doorstep around Sawston including Orchard Park, Babraham Forest and the Whittlesford loop. We live down a quiet driveway. We have a large open plan living room kitchen which is where Mona sleeps and at least one of us works, with space for another dog. Dogs are allowed on our sofa.
“Kinga was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. She kindly took our late booking and asked lots of questions, making sure our boy would be as comfortable as possible. Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.”

“Another enjoyable week for Hank. He loves to stay with Alanna and her family. He and Dill are big pals. It is so reassuring to go away and leave Hank with full confidence that he is being looked after and spoiled. They go for fun walks, foraging in the fields or just chill in the sun. Thanks!”

“Thank you Jemma for making Marley feel so at home - my kids thought he genuinely looked sad when we took he home! I am sure he cannot wait to stay again. Knowing he was so well looked after and that you enjoyed it also, gives me so much relief and reassurance. Jemma was very accommodating at having an initial meeting, and kept me updated with pictures over the weekend. As this was the first time I have left him with someone that wasn't family, I am so pleased to have found Jemma and really look forward to the next time!”

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was around 14 when I would house and dog sit for a neighbour’s beautiful English Setter! I also spent a summer looking after a neighbour’s horses and goats (best summer of my life!). I have a family dog, Pepper, who lives in my family home. I trained her as a puppy and walk her regularly. I miss having animals in my daily life so can’t wait to meet some lovely dogs in my area! I work full time at a hospital, which equates to 3 shifts a week, 12 hours long each shift. This gives me 4 days off a week. Unfortunately, I don’t work set shifts so my schedule changes week by week but I get my rota through 2 months in advance so can plan around it easily! I can also request days off if far enough in advance if needed! My days off are generally spent going on walks (when I’m not doing house work!) or reading. I am happy to follow any and all safety requirements for your dog, including crating and walking them on a lead. I am happy to send regular photos and updates and any other requests. I know it is hard to trust someone with your pet so want to make you as comfortable as possible!
