“Lauren is great! Very easy to communicate with, and her family looked after Momo very well with lovely long walks and lots of cuddles. Will definitely book again. Thank you”

“Excellent!! We used Steven for the first time and he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, accommodating and a good communicator. We’re so thankful for his care of our Mika and would use him again. Thank you Steven! 😊”

About: Hello! My name is Aleksandra (or Sasha), and I’m a huge dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your beloved furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my experience. I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Drop me a message and I will be happy to chat! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week. My office days are usually Monday and Thursday, but can be adjusted if needed. My weekends are usually free, so I can easily help out with walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting when needed. I live in a secure apartment building, so any dogs staying with me will be in a safe and supervised environment. I only take on a limited number of dogs at a time so that I can give each one plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable. I’m also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walks within Saffron Walden, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I have a 12-year-old dog who gets along well with most dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes. For that reason, I would prefer to arrange a first meeting in a neutral open space, such as a park area, before any stay in my home. I find that this helps dogs get to know each other more comfortably and makes the experience much smoother for everyone. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll make sure your dog is treated with the same care and attention that I give my own.
“We are so grateful to Vicky & Amber for hosting our lovely Mini during our vacation! It’s been last minute request and all went so well at the end! Mini was taken a good care, with daily photos and videos shared with us. We were so pleased to see her enjoying her time and lots of play with Mowgli mastering tug of war 😆🐾”

“Jess was great, very responsive and really attentive to quite the nervous dog. She went out of her way to make sure our dog was well cared for and gave us regular updates. Would definitely use her again and can't thank her and her partner enough for the care provided.”

“George was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend boarding at his home. He was super responsive and very accommodating and mindful of Indy's requirements as a 12 year old greyhound. We did an intro with George's dog Daisy prior to Indy's stay, to make sure they got on and well, they had a blast - Daisy is a delightful and very happy pooch. George sent through regular updates and some lovely photos that were taken on a visit to a pumpkin patch. Indy was very much treated as part of the family and clearly had a wonderful time. I will be booking another stay soon!”

“Kinga was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. She kindly took our late booking and asked lots of questions, making sure our boy would be as comfortable as possible. Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.”

“They updated us the whole time our dog, Oscar, was with them with messages and pictures. Very trustworthy and just such lovely people. I will happily place Oscar with them again in the future. Thanks a ton.”

“Otto had a great experience and we were so happy with our Rover host. Excellent care, communication from a host who really treated our dog like their own. Would really recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Ruth. I have grown up with animals and have cared for a wide variety of weird and wonderful pets, including cats, dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits and Guinea pigs. I’m caring and patient, and have always enjoyed the company of animals. I'm also able to administer medication to pets should they require this, and I have some experience with reactive dogs, too. I'm currently working full time on site in Hinxton, Cambridge; however, for ~1 week pet sitting, I am willing to book holiday for either the full or part of the booking to ensure I am available for your pet. Please note due to allergies I am unable to pet sit in smoking houses. I only provide care in your home. If your dog is a puppy under 1-year old I will be in the home with the pup at all times. I will follow any special instructions you require. I work full time in Hinxton; however, if a booking is ~ for one week, I am willing to book a holiday to be available full time for your pet. I only provide care in your home. On walks, dogs will remain on lead at all times, even if they have excellent recall. If your pet has any health issues that you are aware of, as make me aware. I am happy to administer mediation, and in worst-case scenarios, I own a car and would be able to take your pet to the vet in emergencies.
“I cannot recommend Alice and Josh highly enough! They were incredibly professional, attentive, flexible and organised. When I came to pick up Olya, she was calm, happy, and clearly well-cared for. I will definitely be booking them again for my next trip. Thank you both so much!”

About: What sets me apart is my flexibility and genuine love for animals. I work from home, so I can provide care throughout the day, including for pets that need extra attention or companionship. I'm also able to drive, making it easy for me to travel to your home. I've cared for pets with separation anxiety, high-energy dogs that need long walks, and pets that require more frequent care and supervision. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Working from home allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs multiple walks, regular playtime, companionship, or extra supervision, I can easily adapt to their routine. I understand that some pets experience separation anxiety, so I'm happy to spend extra time with them to help them feel calm, safe, and comfortable while you're away. Every pet receives plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. While I'm unable to host pets in my own home because I have a cat, I'm happy to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Staying in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and keeps your pet in their usual routine. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks (if needed), and lots of love while you're away.

“Thank you Jemma for making Marley feel so at home - my kids thought he genuinely looked sad when we took he home! I am sure he cannot wait to stay again. Knowing he was so well looked after and that you enjoyed it also, gives me so much relief and reassurance. Jemma was very accommodating at having an initial meeting, and kept me updated with pictures over the weekend. As this was the first time I have left him with someone that wasn't family, I am so pleased to have found Jemma and really look forward to the next time!”
