About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!

“Amanda was the perfect sitter! She popped round earlier in the week for a meet and greet, which gave Sunny a chance to get comfortable with her before the stay. Sunny is a bit nervous of new people, especially when they come into our house. Amanda was so understanding of this and was great with her, taking the time to bond with her. On the day Amanda arrived right on time and sent us an update to let us know Sunny was happy. We had her from a kitten right through to her old age and nursed her through cancer which resulted in having to amputate a leg, so I am fully aware of how to care for a cat / administer medication and injections. Since April 2020 my wife and I fostered 6 cats/kittens which required nursing back to health before going on to their forever homes - each one taking a piece of our hearts away with them!! We've since had another kitten named Teddy who has grown up with our daughter and is such a ginger cat! Loving but also independent! We’re lucky to have plenty of lovely options nearby, from open fields and woodland to peaceful walks through the village. At home, life is nice and relaxed. Vinny is usually snoozing on the sofa, or happily working away at a frozen Kong or LickiMat. I have professional experience dog sitting, dog walking and cat sitting for clients. I’m currently working part-time so I have a lot of flexibility and adaptability to find time to look after your furry friends or take them for a walk. I always make sure the dogs i’m looking after trust me and are comfortable, making sure they get time outdoors for a run around and I keep an eye on them to make sure there not causing too much trouble!

About: Dog owner to Audrey a socialised 6 year old female cockapoo who is very good with other dogs.Enjoys the company on long walks, short walks or just chilling. Available to sit as my freelance work dictates. Both my wife and I work from home so there will always be someone around. Dog walks included and a hose down when needed ;-) We have an active 6 year old cockapoo, so obviously they need to get on with one another. She is very well socialised with small and large breeds. We have a large walled garden where the dogs can run around and work allows me to let them out as needed. I walk most days locally and sometimes take them in the car to nearby destinations for a variation. Overnight - We can cater for dog who are crate trained, equally happy to have them upstairs depending on breed / size. I am a freelance photographer so you can expect Pup-dates and nice snaps of your favourite 'child' (if required)
