About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!
“Ruth looked after my Cockapoo Buzz for an afternoon/evening. She came and sat with him in our house and was was very friendly and Buzz immediately warmed to her. Would definitely rebook!”

“Amanda was fantastic - dogs absolutely loved her - got plenty of walks & love. Amanda kept us updated and took Ruby to the vet which was hugely helpful - thank you ❤️”

I’ll treat your pets as my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos while you’re away! ❤️🐾 I work 4 days a week, usually from 8am–6pm, but I’m very flexible around my working hours. I’m happy to visit before or after work, and I’m also available for overnight stays. i have 3 days off each week, so I can offer plenty of availability on those days for walks, visits and longer stays. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s routine and work out what suits you both best! I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable in their own home, so I always try to keep their usual routine as much as possible. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, and I’ll take the time to build trust with your pets so they feel relaxed and happy while you’re away. About: Hi! I’m a genuine dog lover who enjoys spending time with pups of all sizes. While new to formal dog sitting, I’ve cared for dogs before and understand how important it is to keep them safe, happy, and loved. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and stick to your dog’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I am a working professional who has 2 WFH days per week. My weekends are either crammed with walks and mini adventures or resting away the Sunday roast! So I can match all energy levels. Either way would love the company. Can send regular updates and will always confirm with you your companions routines and needs to ensure the dog sitting feels to them like a little holiday! I have a ground floor flat with a private garden set back from the main road in a quiet little cluster of properties. Happy to take companions on a walk locally or further afield or around their own stomping ground.
“We booked Samantha for a one night stay. It was our first time. She responded to messages promptly. She arrived right on time. Our dog seemed happy in the videos and when we got home. The house looked as if no one had been there. We will defiantly recommend Samantha and use her in the future.”

About: Hi there! My name is Lyall and I am based in Saffron Walden. I have owned a half Persian half tabby cat for nearly 14 years called Tiger. We had her from a kitten right through to her old age and nursed her through cancer which resulted in having to amputate a leg, so I am fully aware of how to care for a cat / administer medication and injections. Since April 2020 my wife and I fostered 6 cats/kittens which required nursing back to health before going on to their forever homes - each one taking a piece of our hearts away with them!! We've since had another kitten named Teddy who has grown up with our daughter and is such a ginger cat! Loving but also independent! I am a hard-working, trustworthy, business professional working remotely and would love to help out cat-sitting when you are away. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Lyall I work fully remote managing my own schedule and have a car, so can be available last minute. Happy to work to whatever schedule works best for your pet. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to look at pets at my home currently. I will work with you to understand how best to fit into your current pet’s schedule to minimize any disruption.

“Annie pet sat in our home for 8 nights looking after our dog. Annie was the ultimate professional, very communicative and responsive throughout the process and kept us regularly updated with pictures. We returned home to an immaculately clean house and a very well looked after pup. We would highly recommend Annie and we would certainly make use of her pet sitting services in the future.”

About: I don't remember a time without animals and pets though we had small animals such as rabbits and gerbils with a peak headcount of 28, though these days it's just me and my six guinnea pigs, one rabbit, two chinchillas and a couple fish. This app doesn't let me add pets beyond cats and dogs so I note them here though there are some photos of them and myself on my profile. This year I've been volunteering my Sundays at the Animal Rescue Charity in Bishop Stortford so I'm confident and competent walking dogs of all size and behaviours, as well as exposure to a cats ranging from young to old, healthy to sick, though I consistently find animals respond to my calm and gentle nature. I have looked after my sisters shiba a few times when they were on holiday first as a puppy and more recently as a sassy teenager in heat or weekends away. Or a family friend who's old boy was blind and deaf and needed constant physical contact to feel safe and happy. Suffice to say I'm happy to accommodate and meet your pets needs with my time and attention, be that over long walks in any weather or a reliable companion to stay at your home with your beloved animals. Currently not working so I have plenty of time, though I volunteer on Fridays and Sundays so while I would like to continue those there is flexibility for sitting if unable to go for out for the day to accommodate you and your pets needs. Typically play it by the pets energy, if they want attention and play then we'll play, if they want to chill in the same room as me with a toy for some company then we can do that, or if they wish to be alone I'll still be availible and accessible to them. I'm comfortable sharing a bed, sleeping with doors open, cleaning up accidents and walking them in any weather, long or short, relaxed with lots of stops to sniff or a more disciplined walk on a tight leash. I am clean and tidy so I will leave your property as I found it. I have no issue spending all day around the home of that would bring you peace of mind only nipping out to get some groceries to last me a couple of days at a time, though in short I'm flexible, reliable, and attentive.

About: Hi! I’m a self-employed dog lover who works from home Monday–Friday, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, walks and, of course, cuddles! I live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with my own dog, Vinny. While we don’t have a private garden, we do have a communal outdoor space for toilet breaks, and I make sure Vinny gets two 45-minute walks every day. We’re lucky to have plenty of lovely options nearby, from open fields and woodland to peaceful walks through the village. At home, life is nice and relaxed. Vinny is usually snoozing on the sofa, or happily working away at a frozen Kong or LickiMat. I’m happy to keep your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, whether they’re full of energy and love a good walk or are more of a professional sofa-snoozer! I’ve always loved animals and have had pets throughout my life, including dogs, rabbits and ducks. We’d love to have a second dog of our own one day, but in the meantime I’d love to welcome some local four-legged friends into our home and give them a safe, comfortable and loving place to stay. Your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I’d love to meet you and your pup and see if we’re a good match! Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Great Chesterford
Samantha was a godsend! After being let down by a few sitters, when she came to initially meet our boys, she made them feel calm and I immediately felt at ease leaving them and our home in her care. It’s a lot to take on, having four dogs! I was willing the acceptance to our request being made and delighted when she accepted. It was stressful time being at our wedding venue but I felt a little more relaxed with the updates being received and I loved seeing how content our boys were. I can not recommend Samantha enough. The whole process was seamless and our boys were pampered. Thank you so much Samantha. I will not hesitate in recommending you. Thank you so, so much!!!
