About: I am a professional pet sitter and have been set up as a business “Pet Sitting By Nicola” since August 2018. I began as predominantly a live-in overnight pet sitter, but I can now offer regular weekly dog walks and pet visits, along with ad hoc walks and visits. The pet visits I offer can include feeding, medication, health checks, dog walks, pop in visits for toilet breaks, company and enrichment activities. I have completed my Canine and Feline first aid certificates, a pet sitting diploma and many other canine qualifications with the Dog training college including certificates in separation anxiety, reactive dogs, rescue dogs, and dog psychology/behaviour. I have an additional 3 years experience in pet sitting prior to setting up my business (overnight and day sits) for friends and family. I also have 3 years experience dog walking on a voluntary basis for elderly and terminally ill hospice patients via St Nicholas Hospice and Our special Friends animal charity. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs with the majority of dog breeds. I have experience caring for dogs with joint disease including IVDD, Hip Dysplasia, Arthritis, as well as paralysed dogs and those recovering from surgery. I can help with other animals too including birds, small furries, reptiles and some farm animals including goats, ducks and pigs. I live in your home looking after your pets overnight, replicating their normal routine to ensure they are settled and content. I will need to go out for approx. 4 hours over the lunch periods for dog walks, along with a couple of hours morning and evening for personal errands and short pet visits. But should your pet require more company this may be possible on selected dates for an extra hourly charge. I take good care of peoples properties and I clean up after myself. As well as providing care for your pet, I offer security for your home. I follow the clients instructions to care for their pets, and I can offer quality time in the hours I’m home with the pets giving company, walks, enrichment and play. I include small tasks around the house like putting bins out, collecting post, taking in deliveries, and 5 minutes of plant watering. Should more plant watering be required I can offer this for an additional charge.

About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!

About: I have a big love for animals and have spare time so want to help others and look after their loved animals and care for them. I look after my friends and families cats and dogs on a regular basis so have experience with different breeds and want to help others have the opportunity to go away on holiday or going to work and relax knowing their baby is getting a home from home experience in a relaxed environment. I work from home most days and if I need to go into the office I have a flexible timetable so would be out the house for no more than 4 hours but also happy to accommodate to your timings of each pet. I am also happy to take them out to places with me if this is something your pet is familiar with. I live in a house with a private fenced/brick wall garden. I have a park next to my house and multiple walks around my area with a mixture of fields, grass and pavement environments. I also have a car so am happy to take out with owners permission I also send photos and updates to the owners to let them know there babies are in safe hands

I also had a much loved cat for 15 years, giving me experience caring for both dogs and cats throughout different stages of life. I live in a beautiful rural area just outside Felsted, conveniently located near Chelmsford, Braintree and Great Dunmow. Being surrounded by countryside means I have plenty of experience walking dogs in a variety of outdoor settings. I am most comfortable with small to medium sized dogs and always prioritise safety during walks. For this reason, I prefer on lead walking, whether using a short lead or a longer training lead, depending on your dog's needs and your preferences. I'm currently looking to build relationships with local owners who require regular and reliable dog sitting or walking services. I am happy to offer overnight stays for local clients within approximately 15 miles of Felsted. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pet, and I will always treat your dog with the same care, patience and attention that I give my own. I am experienced in administering medications, following feeding routines and adapting to any specific medical, mobility or comfort requirements your pet may have.
