However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.

Having been on Rover for nearly a year and with a bit more experience, we offer a high quality service limited to just one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. We will not mix your dogs with any other dog, at any time during the stay. We wish to provide the best care possible and for us, we realise it's best if we concentrate on a single dog, or a pair of dogs, from the same family to maximise, safety, care and attention on your beloved pet/s. We are recently retired and therefore able to prove maximum time and attention to any Dog that stays in our home with us. We are also able to visit your home for walks or drop-ins. We have a fenced in garden, which is dog friendly and safe. We have a spacious home, very safe and clean and a perfect loving environment for your pet. We live very close to the Fennes, giving us the best walks in Essex, perfect for us to exercise ourselves and your pet. We are both mature and responsible adults with lots of time on our hands. We are only looking to look after a maximum of one dog, or two dogs from the same home, at any one time, as we are looking to provide high quality and maximum attention to a small number of dogs, so we can enjoy the experience of having dogs, rather than providing care for financial reward alone.
About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. I grew up with multiple dogs, including large and giant breeds, so I’m confident handling everything from energetic pups to calmer, more sensitive dogs. I’ve also regularly cared for dogs for friends and family—from small Maltipoos and Staffies to Spaniels and Retrievers—providing walks, daycare, and overnight stays. I’m comfortable adapting to different routines and personalities. My approach is calm, patient, and attentive. I focus on building trust, reading behaviour, and creating a safe, relaxed environment. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime or slower strolls and quiet companionship, I’ll tailor their care to suit them (snuggles on the sofa are always welcome!) For dog walking - I'm physically fit, attend the gym regularly, and have experience in walking my families giant dog (a Caucasian mountain dog - very large, very strong). I then rescued a senior cat who had cancer, had him for just over a year until he ultimately passed away from his cancer. I've also been around family dogs since I was little I'm full time employed but work from home most days. Can take dogs on up to 30 minute walks 2 to 3 times a day.
