About: I have years of experience looking after pets of friends, my own, and through word of mouth I have house sat for many others. I have looked after and helped train dogs of varying ages including those with challenging behaviour. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and ensure your dog feels comfortable, cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.

About: Hello, I’m Katie, and I understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your dog, so you can have real peace of mind while you’re away. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two of my own, a chocolate Labrador and a Border Terrier, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. My Border Terrier can be anxious in unfamiliar environments, which has given me a good understanding of how to support dogs who need a bit more patience and reassurance. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family, including day care and holiday stays, and I’m comfortable supporting dogs with additional needs such as medication or minor care. My days follow a calm, consistent routine that balances activity and rest. Dogs in my care are included alongside my own, with regular outdoor time, play and countryside walks suited to their energy levels. There’s always time to relax as well, so dogs can settle into a comfortable, low-stress environment. I adapt the day to suit each dog, whether they prefer to be active and social or enjoy a quieter pace. Care is provided exclusively in my home, creating a safe, calm and personalised “home-from-home” environment. Dogs will have access to both the family space as well as a dedicated annex for cosy comfort, rest and quiet time, along with about 2 acres of fully secure outdoor lawn and woodland space for safe roaming, play and exploration. For everyone’s safety, I require a meet-and-greet in advance to ensure dogs are happy in the environment and get along well with my two dogs. I’m only able to accept dogs that are friendly and well socialised, and am happy to accommodate exclusive bookings upon request. I can also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your dog is happy, settled and well cared for.

About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. If interested, I'm a semi-professional cyclist (and part-time marketer). I'm currently off training (cycling) for a month or two, and will be coming back into training very slowly, so have a lot more free time. I'm working part-time at home most days, with the odd Wednesday working from the office in London, allowing me to move around the local area looking after your pet(s) or having your pet(s) come to stay. Relatively relaxed and free, but there may be a few days or weekends I won't be able to do. I have a very large downstairs space which is neat, tidy with very little clutter, with a great playing field (and crop fields) behind the houses where lots of dog owners walk their dogs.

I’ve loved dogs and cats from a young age and have always been surrounded by animals throughout my life. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine as I work from home in a corporate role. This gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and feeding schedules with ease. I can step away from my desk as needed to make sure pets are checked on, cared for, and given attention at consistent times. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m also able to provide a reassuring level of presence and reliability, rather than being tied to fixed office hours. I’m well organised with my workload, which allows me to plan visits around my schedule and be responsive to each pet’s needs. I also offer dog boarding services in my own home at your request. I provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a large fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to play, run around, and enjoy outdoor time safely. At home, I have one friendly miniature long-haired Dachshund who is very sociable and loving, and can provide company for visiting pets if suitable. However, I’m also happy to keep pets separated if preferred or if they need their own space to feel comfortable. I have a crate available if requested, along with extra dog beds, toys, bowls, and treats to make sure visiting pets feel settled and cared for. My priority is always to make each pet feel safe, relaxed, and at home, while following their usual routine as closely as possible.

About: My husband I have always loved dogs and had them in our lives since childhood. We are early retirees and able to offer outstanding care for your beloved pet/s. Our own beloved family member, Alfie, a Cocker Spaniel died in 2018 and we have since then lavished all our love on our granddog Duke, a Golden retriever, who lives in LA, whom we have helped raise since he was a puppy. We are early retirees and when not travelling, are able to offer 5 star care for your dog/s in our home, which is a good size, clean and very safe. We are both young, mid 50's and very active with access to walks around the lovely countryside in Bocking, Braintree. Having been on Rover for nearly a year and with a bit more experience, we offer a high quality service limited to just one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. We will not mix your dogs with any other dog, at any time during the stay. We wish to provide the best care possible and for us, we realise it's best if we concentrate on a single dog, or a pair of dogs, from the same family to maximise, safety, care and attention on your beloved pet/s. We are recently retired and therefore able to prove maximum time and attention to any Dog that stays in our home with us. We are also able to visit your home for walks or drop-ins. We have a fenced in garden, which is dog friendly and safe. We have a spacious home, very safe and clean and a perfect loving environment for your pet. We live very close to the Fennes, giving us the best walks in Essex, perfect for us to exercise ourselves and your pet. We are both mature and responsible adults with lots of time on our hands. We are only looking to look after a maximum of one dog, or two dogs from the same home, at any one time, as we are looking to provide high quality and maximum attention to a small number of dogs, so we can enjoy the experience of having dogs, rather than providing care for financial reward alone.

I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.
