For 13 wonderful years, I was blessed to share my life with my beautiful Cavapoo, Colby. He was my constant companion, my best friend and I will always feel incredibly honoured that he chose me every day. Following Colby's passing, I found myself deeply missing the daily joy of giving that love and care to a dog. It is this, more than anything, that inspired me to begin this new chapter. I administered multiple medications with precision, consistency and dedication while closely monitoring his health, comfort and changing needs. This experience has given me invaluable confidence in caring for senior dogs, administering medication and supporting dogs with ongoing medical conditions, always with patience, compassion and meticulous attention to detail. When you dog is in my care, they will be treated as my own family - with warmth, gentleness and genuine affection. About: I have years of experience looking after pets of friends, my own, and through word of mouth I have house sat for many others. I have looked after and helped train dogs of varying ages including those with challenging behaviour. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I maintain a flexible schedule to work around your dog’s needs and ensure your dog feels comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest walk that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.

I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two of my own, a chocolate Labrador and a Border Terrier, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. My Border Terrier can be anxious in unfamiliar environments, which has given me a good understanding of how to support dogs who need a bit more patience and reassurance. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family, including day care and holiday stays, and I’m comfortable supporting dogs with additional needs such as medication or minor care. My days follow a calm, consistent routine that balances activity and rest. Dogs in my care are included alongside my own, with regular outdoor time, play and countryside walks suited to their energy levels. There’s always time to relax as well, so dogs can settle into a comfortable, low-stress environment. I adapt the day to suit each dog, whether they prefer to be active and social or enjoy a quieter pace. Care is provided exclusively in my home, creating a safe, calm and personalised “home-from-home” environment. Dogs will have access to both the family space as well as a dedicated annex for cosy comfort, rest and quiet time, along with about 2 acres of fully secure outdoor lawn and woodland space for safe roaming, play and exploration. For everyone’s safety, I require a meet-and-greet in advance to ensure dogs are happy in the environment and get along well with my two dogs. I’m only able to accept dogs that are friendly and well socialised, and am happy to accommodate exclusive bookings upon request. About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have gained some great experience over the years. I’ve worked with trained search dogs, which taught me a lot about understanding different behaviours and building trust. I also volunteer at a local rehoming centre, helping care for dogs with all kinds of personalities. At home, I have two lively cocker spaniels who keep me on my toes and remind me how important it is to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I really enjoy making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after I work part-time from home with a flexible shift pattern, so it’s easy for me to fit pet care around my schedule. I make sure any bookings get my full attention, and I love having animals as part of my daily routine. I offer drop-in visits to make sure pets are happy and well looked after in their own home. I’ll follow their normal routine — whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled while you’re away. About: I’ve got 2 loving golden retrievers so who love attention and walks, our time is dedicated to our gorgeous dogs and yours would be treated the same. I currently work from home Monday through Friday, I do have to pop out on occasional appointments. I have 2 goldies at home with me who have 2 walks a day. Your dog would need to be ok with large dogs I have large fenced garden with plenty of running space, we have a dedicated boot room for the dogs. Charlie and Teddy are my 2 retrievers who love big playful dogs, I would like to meet any dog before having them stay.

Mornings usually start with breakfast and a 30-min walk where the little legs can explore, sniff and move at a relaxed pace. The rest of the day is a mix of companionship, playtime, enrichment, naps and garden breaks, with the dogs always nearby while I work. Because I am home throughout the day, the dogs are never left alone and get plenty of attention, reassurance and supervision. The routine is calm and predictable, which dachshunds tend to respond to really well. Late afternoons and evenings are relaxed with a longer walk, usually at a woodlands, and garden time, followed by cosy downtime in the house. It is very much a home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in a kennel style setting. Dogs staying with me are cared for as part of the household. They stay inside the home with plenty of cosy spaces to rest, relax and feel safe, and I keep the number of dogs small so everyone gets proper attention and supervision. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. I have a good understanding of basic dog first aid and always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and happiness of every dog in my care.
