I take your specific instructions very seriously! I’m happy to follow exact feeding routines, dietary needs, and any special 'house rules' you have. I’ll make sure your pet’s schedule stays exactly the way they like it so you can relax while you're away. Since I work from home, pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine! I am available throughout the day for constant company and supervision. I structure my breaks around your pet's needs, ensuring they get regular outdoor time in my garden and two long walks (30–60 minutes each) at the nearby park. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I provide a safe and loving home environment with a secure, fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some freedom. I have my own dog who is very friendly and loves having playmates, but I can also easily separate them if needed. I am extremely careful with feeding instructions and house rules to ensure your pet feels secure and right at home while staying with me.

“Katy responds quickly to any enquiry. She arranged to meet Coco prior to the overnight stay and was very thorough in ensuring that she knew all about Coco. After this initial meet up Coco ran enthusiastically into Katy's house to stay overnight and greeted both Katy and her partner enthusiastically. About: Hello, I’m Katie, and I understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your dog, so you can have real peace of mind while you’re away. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two of my own, a chocolate Labrador and a Border Terrier, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. My Border Terrier can be anxious in unfamiliar environments, which has given me a good understanding of how to support dogs who need a bit more patience and reassurance. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family, including day care and holiday stays, and I’m comfortable supporting dogs with additional needs such as medication or minor care. My days follow a calm, consistent routine that balances activity and rest. Dogs in my care are included alongside my own, with regular outdoor time, play and countryside walks suited to their energy levels. There’s always time to relax as well, so dogs can settle into a comfortable, low-stress environment. I adapt the day to suit each dog, whether they prefer to be active and social or enjoy a quieter pace. Care is provided exclusively in my home, creating a safe, calm and personalised “home-from-home” environment. Dogs will have access to both the family space as well as a dedicated annex for cosy comfort, rest and quiet time, along with about 2 acres of fully secure outdoor lawn and woodland space for safe roaming, play and exploration. For everyone’s safety, I require a meet-and-greet in advance to ensure dogs are happy in the environment and get along well with my two dogs. I’m only able to accept dogs that are friendly and well socialised, and am happy to accommodate exclusive bookings upon request. I can also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your dog is happy, settled and well cared for.
