About: Hello! My name is Aleksandra (or Sasha), and I’m a huge dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your beloved furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my experience. I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Drop me a message and I will be happy to chat! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week. My office days are usually Monday and Thursday, but can be adjusted if needed. My weekends are usually free, so I can easily help out with walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting when needed. I live in a secure apartment building, so any dogs staying with me will be in a safe and supervised environment. I only take on a limited number of dogs at a time so that I can give each one plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable. I’m also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walks within Saffron Walden, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I have a 12-year-old dog who gets along well with most dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes. For that reason, I would prefer to arrange a first meeting in a neutral open space, such as a park area, before any stay in my home. I find that this helps dogs get to know each other more comfortably and makes the experience much smoother for everyone. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll make sure your dog is treated with the same care and attention that I give my own.

About: Having either coveted or owned pets since childhood, and recently experienced my daughter hosting dogs in our family home before flying the nest on her next big adventure, I’ve decided to take over the family business. Yes, I know inheritance does not usually work this way but, hey, hosting your fur balls has been such a joy, and I have such a perfect space here, why not? Familiar with separation anxiety, medication administration, and all that comes with family pets. Very fond of long walks. Well aware from personal experience how daunting it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and totally committed to ensuring their comfort and safety. Rest assured your pets will be well cared for - and lots of cute photos and updates will be sent. I’m self employed and work from home. My dog, Mo, and cat Gem, are well socialised and happy to accept well behaved comrades into their space. I have a big, secure fenced garden with lots of room to run around, and a comfortable living space where pets are welcome, including on the sofas. I’m respectful of other people’s needs and spaces, whether I’m visiting your home, or your pets are visiting mine, I’ll make sure their - and your - needs are met. Expect lots of photos - and possibly a short story, or poem from your pet.

About: I have always had dogs since being a young child so I am a huge dog lover and very capable of looking after them. I have my own dog Bailey, a toy poodle, who loves interacting with other dogs and is super friendly. We create a home away from home experience with lots of cuddles and walks! I have used this app before to arrange care for Bailey so I understand the anxiety around trusting someone else with your dog - happy to arrange a meeting in advance to answer any questions 😊 We typically go on 2-3 walks a day. I have the flexibility to work from home a few days a week so I will be home with your dog all day I have a walled garden so very safe for your pet. I have lots of lovely surrounding walks to take your pet to and they will be kept on a long lead to ensure they stay with me while getting to know each other.

I live in a spacious two-bedroom flat with my own dog, Vinny.
