“Archie has stayed with Alix quite a few times now. This time he stayed with Alix (and Toby 🐶 ) for 2 weeks while we went away - the longest we have left him. Alix sent us lots of photos and kept us up to date with how he was doing, so we didn’t worry at all about him. He gets on so well with Toby too. He came home a very happy boy, after having a fortnight of him and Toby playing. Totally recommend Alix if you want your dog to have an enjoyable stay 🥰. Thanks Alix for looking after our boy so well. 😊”

I felt confident and happy leaving her with them for our holiday as they were obviously affectionate and kind to her during the initial visit. Rob sent me photos and updates on what had been doing whilst we were away. They took her out in the car to meet other dogs and I think she felt right at home. She was relaxed when I picked her up, showing no signs of anxiety at all. I would say it felt like a second home for her and would be only too happy to use Rob again .”

For 13 wonderful years, I was blessed to share my life with my beautiful Cavapoo, Colby. He was my constant companion, my best friend and I will always feel incredibly honoured that he chose me every day. The bond we shared shaped the way I care for animals and reinforced my belief that every dog deserves to feel safe, understood, loved and completely at ease. Following Colby's passing, I found myself deeply missing the daily joy of giving that love and care to a dog. It is this, more than anything, that inspired me to begin this new chapter. My experience extends well beyond everyday care. During Colby's later years, he bravely lived with heart failure, requiring an extensive and carefully managed medication regime. I administered multiple medications with precision, consistency and dedication while closely monitoring his health, comfort and changing needs. This experience has given me invaluable confidence in caring for senior dogs, administering medication and supporting dogs with ongoing medical conditions, always with patience, compassion and meticulous attention to detail. My love of animals reaches far beyond dogs. I have owned horses for over 20 years and have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes, as well as a variety of other pets and retiles. This lifelong passion has given me a calm, knowledgeable and intuitive approach to animal care, with a deep understanding that every animal deserves kindness, respect and individual attention. About: I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous professional dog handling background, which has given me confidence in caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable looking after energetic puppies, larger breeds, and older dogs who may need a gentler pace and extra patience. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every dog, I treat each one as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and attentive to every pet’s individual needs. Due to Army commitments, my standard availability is weekends. However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.
