“Karen and her husband stepped in for us over Christmas when our original plans changed due to a family matter. Our little dog Rosie settled straight in and was super well loved and looked after. Karen and her husband were super helpful at making the process of leaving our dog very easy and we were sent regular updates and photos. Rosie was super happy to be left and was allowed to treat their house as her own - which we are super grateful for. A very big and secure garden to play in. We will not hesitate to book with Karen again when needed. Thank you so so much x”

Rosy was happy to send photos, and messages, and had to check something with me whilst away, but we had agreed she could message me anytime if worried about anything which I found very reassuring. About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life and absolutely love having them around! 🐾 I currently work fully remotely from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. I have a huge garden with lots of space to explore and play, and I’m a big walker myself, so I’m always happy to have a four-legged companion join me on my walks. I also love photography, so there’s a very good chance you’ll receive some cute photos of your pup enjoying their little holiday with me! 📸🐶 I have plenty of experience with dogs of different breeds, personalities and backgrounds. I was involved with Seeing Eye/guide dogs for over 7 years and have also owned rescue dogs for more than 15 years, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m more than happy to follow whatever rules you have at home so that your dog’s routine stays consistent. Equally, if your pup is used to being on the sofa, sleeping on the bed or generally making themselves completely at home, that’s absolutely fine with me! I’m currently dog-free, which is actually one of the reasons I love dog sitting so much. I really miss having the company of dogs around and genuinely enjoy being able to give them a home-from-home while their owners are away. ❤️ I work fully remotely from home, so pet care fits really naturally into my everyday routine. My schedule is flexible, meaning I can easily accommodate regular toilet breaks, feeding times, walks, playtime and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m naturally an early riser and love walking, so morning and evening walks are easy to build around your dog’s usual routine. I also have a large garden for regular outdoor breaks, play and exploring throughout the day. I play sports on two evenings a week and football on Sundays, so I’m occasionally out for around 2–2.5 hours at a time. If your dog is happy and comfortable in that environment, they’re also very welcome to come along and watch from the sidelines! Otherwise, I’ll make sure they’ve been walked, settled and comfortable before I leave. As I’m home for the vast majority of the day, your dog will have lots of company and I’m very happy to adapt my routine around what they’re used to at home. 🐾 I have a large, fully fenced garden, although the fence at the back isn’t particularly high, so dogs who are keen jumpers will always be closely supervised while outside. I’m happy to crate dogs where this is part of their normal routine, as I’ve owned and cared for crate-trained dogs before. I’m also very comfortable caring for dogs who need a little extra support, whether that’s with toilet training, medication or anxiety. I’m patient and happy to follow your routines, boundaries and instructions to make sure your dog feels safe, settled and at home with me. 🐾

About: We have a large fenced garden and a cosy home and your dogs will be treated as part of our family during their stay. I understand the importance of routine, especially when dogs are in a new environment, and will ensure they are cared for exactly as you request with plenty of photo updates throughout the stay. I totally understand the desire for your dogs to feel loved and cared for when you are away - rest assured they will be doted on! We have 2 friendly female resident dogs who love having doggy mates, Bonnie (7 yr old cockapoo) and Inka (3 yr old Frenchie), so your dog will have some canine company. I'm currently on maternity leave and have plenty of time to be with your pup and give them lots of attention, cuddles and exercise. My husband works from home 100% of the time, so there will always be company for your dog. I have a secure, large fenced garden with plenty of grass and space for playing. It is clean and hazard free, and easily accessible from the kitchen.

I also previously worked as a veterinary nurse for the RSPCA, giving me valuable experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust, and I always treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m confident handling dogs, recognising their individual needs and making sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable while in my care. I work part time from home and am flexible, so easy to for me to fit pet care around my schedule. I make sure any bookings get my full attention and I love having animals as part of my daily routine. I offer drop in visits to make sure pet are happy and well looked after in their own home. I’ll follow their normal routine- whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled whilst your’re away. I also offer dog walking and home boarding. I’m happy to give your dog a good walk, some company and plenty of fuss, or have them stay with us in a home from home environment whilst your away. I have a fenced garden with two very friendly dogs, a chocolate Labrador and a cocker spaniel. I am confident handling dogs and recognising when they may need extra care or attention

I'm able to feed them, brush them, play with them and send you daily pictures and updates for your peace of mind. I can also water your plants if needed. I also provide a home boarding for small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc. Lastly, I offer dog walking in Brantree. I live near a big park (Blackwater) so it's ideal for walks or I can walk around your area too. I have worked in an animal rescue in Spain, walking, feeding dogs and cleaning their enclosures and I have also fostered cats and dogs. I've also looked after my friends' pets while they are away, so I have lots of experience. I'm a full time mum of a 7 and a nearly 2 year old who adore animals. I'm at home most of the time. “I had a last-minute trip abroad and found myself in a bit of a panic about what to do with my 3-month-old Cockapoo, Barry. I started looking into local kennels, but I quickly realized they weren’t the kind of place I wanted for my little guy—cold concrete floors and steel cages, with extra fees for a few minutes of play or attention. That wasn’t the environment I felt comfortable leaving Barry in, so I began searching for a better option. That’s when I found Rover and, more importantly, Charlotte! After messaging her about availability, we arranged to meet, and I couldn’t have been happier. Charlotte was so friendly and bubbly, instantly putting me at ease. She asked all the right questions about Barry—his training, his care needs—and told me about her own experience with dogs. I left feeling completely confident that Barry would be in safe, caring hands. During his stay, Barry not only bonded with Charlotte but also made friends with her Mum, and her dog Luna, who Charlotte had told me about and I agreed to them meeting (and hopefully getting along for play!). They had a blast together—forest walks, playtime, and even a seaside adventure where Barry got to dash around the sand and splash in the waves. Charlotte kept me updated with sweet texts and tons of adorable photos, showing Barry living his best life. Now that Barry has a new buddy in Luna, we’re even planning some future walks together, which I know will be fantastic for Barry and help him stay comfortable with Charlotte for future stays. A huge thank you to Charlotte (and Luna!) for taking such great care of my little buddy. I couldn’t be more grateful!”

Throughout my life, I have also owned and cared for many cats.Beyond my own pets, family members, friends, and neighbors have regularly trusted me to sit, feed, and look after their dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am a very active person, so I am always excited for long walks and engaging playtime. I am also happy to help with essential grooming, such as brushing and safe nail trimming. Your pet will receive the highest level of responsibility, love, and dedicated care! I am currently not working, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can dedicate all my free time to your pet. I am available at any time by prior arrangement, allowing me to provide constant attention, timely feeding, and long walks whenever your dog needs them. Safety and trust are my absolute priorities. About: What on earth is a kahu I hear you ask - a kahu is a Hawaiian word for someone who acts as a guardian and protector of precious things, including furry souls. I have 35 years of experience caring for and loving all kinds of furry friends (including some unexpected rescues) dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, a squirrel, a cockerel, cockatiel and budgies and horses. Some of them all at once! I work from home mostly, (set office day once a week), and so I have the capacity and time to take care of other furry friends alongside Blue and Libs (my two rescues adopted as puppies, now almost 8 and 5 years old). I have a fenced garden and a home-from-home approach to caring for guests. Blue and Libs are both spayed and vaccinated and are used to meeting new friends, although an intro beforehand is always a good plan to make sure everyone is happy. Unfortunately, we can't help with cats as Blue and Libby are unsure how they feel about feline friends and it's important that everyone feels safe here.
