About: I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs of all age. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and keeps to their normal routine. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s extra playtime or gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to keep tails wagging and owners worry-free. We work from home so there is always someone around for a lap to sit on. Our dog gets a quick walk before work in the mornings then generally we work a longer one into the afternoon. We are often at home or we take our dog out with us to the forest or beach. I have a fenced off garden and stair gate on the kitchen door to stop any dogs escaping out the front door. We are a dogs on furniture kind of home and you will often find ours on our lap!

My own rabbits live outside in their own large secure fenced area, completely separate from visiting pets. If I care for rabbits in my home, they will always stay safely indoors. My dog is very gentle with rabbits, but if a rabbit is nervous or prefers space, I’m able to keep them fully separated to make sure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. Dogs in my care will receive at least two walks a day, lots of attention, playtime and regular photo updates for owners while they’re away 🐾

With 25 years' experience caring for animals, including 4 years' volunteering in a rescue shelter, I've developed a deep passion for animals of all kinds. In rescue, I had the pleasure of walking multiple dogs on each visit and caring for a variety of animals. I regularly look after the pets of my neighbours and friends which has given me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many furry companions. I've been a house sitter for 5 years and had the privilege of working with wonderful clients through Rover. I’ve built lasting connections with pet owners who trust me to look after their homes and pets, as if they were my own. I recently lost my own dog of 15 years, who was an adorable rescue staffy called Teddy from Battersea. Being brought up in Borneo and constantly surrounded by snakes and monkeys, I developed a strong passion and interest for everything nature and wildlife. I have worked as a veterinary nurse for two years, where I worked with everything under the sun; from hamsters to birds to lions!
