About: Dogs are my favourite people. 🐶 I've always been a huge dog lover and genuinely can't imagine life without them. I have a wonderful 10-year-old Cockapoo of my own, and I've grown up with family dogs, so I've spent years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. There's nothing I enjoy more than getting outdoors for long walks, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, and spending quality time with happy pups. Whether your dog loves an adventure, a relaxed stroll, or simply lots of cuddles and company, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. As a Reiki practitioner, I naturally bring a calm, gentle energy and often find that animals relax quickly in my company. I'm always patient and attentive, making sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for at their own pace. I know every dog is different, so I'll always take the time to understand their routine, personality, and needs. I'll treat your furry friend as if they were my own, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and, of course, lots of love. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I'll do everything I can to give you complete peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet your four-legged best friend! Dog care fits naturally into my daily routine. As I work for myself, I have the flexibility to organise my schedule around your dog's Secure fenced garden, dog-loving home with two respectful teenagers. Dogs are treated like family and are welcome on the sofa or bed, following your usual house rules.
“Charlotte and her family made our boy so welcome, looked after him so well and he came home a very happy boy after a lovely stay with them. Great communication and it was really helpful to have a meet and greet before the stay. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Excellent!! We used Steven for the first time and he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, accommodating and a good communicator. We’re so thankful for his care of our Mika and would use him again. Thank you Steven! 😊”

“Chiara was fantastic with our nervous boy, she had a great understanding of how to make him feel comfortable and relaxed, looked after him with fireworks and did everything she could to make him feel at home. Could not recommend enough!”

“Barbara was so lovely with Jackson and he became her shadow when out on walks. She made a huge fuss of him, with hugs and kisses, and clearly loved him. Jackson was allowed on the settee and upstairs and treated as their own pet. He got on well with Enzo, Barbara’s Cavalier Spaniel and there were no issues whatsoever. I can highly recommend Barbara and her partner Alan who also bonded with Jackson. They are a delightful couple and I trust them fully to look after Jackson and make his stay as homely as possible.”

“Gopher is a rescue dog and we wanted to be sure that whoever we chose him to stay with overnight was kind ,considerate of his needs and when needed, would get the reassuring attention, felt safe and got lots of cuddles, he got just that. Lisa’s understanding and patience with gopher made all the difference to him and to us. Lisa is a true doggie person and we would highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature to me. From energetic border collies to affectionate cocker spaniels and playful labradoodles, I’ve had experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I regularly look after dogs for family and friends purely because I love it—it never feels like a chore. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I genuinely enjoy making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and well cared for. My partner and I both work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re able to be very hands-on, stick to routines, and give lots of care, cuddles, and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine as my partner and I both work from home, so your dog will have constant company and attention throughout the day. We love getting out for walks, whether it’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure, before work, during lunch, and in the evenings, with plenty of lovely local trails to explore. At home, we have a large 150ft garden where we enjoy spending time, giving your dog plenty of space to play, relax, and roam freely in a safe environment. Your dog will be treated as part of our home from the moment they arrive. My partner and I both work from home, so they’ll never be left alone for long and will have plenty of attention, interaction, and supervision throughout the day. We keep things relaxed and tailored to each dog whether they love long walks on the local trails, shorter strolls, or just pottering around the garden. We’re lucky to have a large 150ft garden, which is a big part of our daily routine and gives dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, or simply relax outside. For overnight boarding, we focus on helping dogs feel settled and comfortable in a new environment. We stick closely to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, and any specific needs, so everything feels familiar and stress free. We genuinely love having dogs around and regularly care for family and friends’ pets, so creating a calm, safe, and happy environment is something that comes naturally to us.
“It is very difficult to quantify how incredible and sweet Andreia and her beautiful family are. I could talk about how wonderful she was with our “less than easy” Spaniel, but there are so many other aspects of Andreia that makes her quite special. We had numerous complications with our holiday plans including a very last minute postponement as a result of American bombing in the Middle East. Andreia took it all in her stride. In summary, I would dare to suggest that if you are lucky enough to have Andreia take care of your dog, you can count yourself lucky.”

I would love to welcome dogs into my home and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while they are with me.
“What a find!!!!!! I was let down fairly last minute and Andrew came to my rescue. He was quick to respond and accommodating to all my dogs needs. The communication throughout the stay was spot on and he sent me some lovely photos. Also what a lovely house I would certainly recommend”

“It looked like Casper, Milo, & Ziggy were all happy cats while we were away, playing with Lizzie and having their own holiday at home! Nice to be welcomed back but I think they were having a lovely time without us!! Thanks Lizzie xx”

“Elena was amazing. She kept me updated throughout my holiday and sent me little videos. You can tell she cares, it’s not just a drop in and felt completely safe both with my home and my pet. If there was 6 stars then I would have chose that. Thanks again Elana”

“Chelsea was absolutely amazing, kept me informed throughout my entire holiday, came back to happy cats and clean house. She also administered meds twice a day without any issues. Highly recommended and I will definitely book Chelsea again from now on when I travel. Thank you Chelsea Xx”

“Liam has been great with my cats. Although meeting them wasn't easy as they're both really shy, he took care of them and he sent me feedback everyday putting my mind at ease. I have since booked Liam twice again, hopefully at some point my kitties will learn not to be shy with him.”

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally. Growing up with cats has given me experience with a wide range of personalities, from confident and affectionate lap cats to nervous and senior cats with more complex needs. I understand that every cat is different and can adapt to different temperaments. Alongside my life long experience with cats, my policing background has shaped me into a dependable, observant and trustworthy person. As a cat sitter, this means you can rely on me to follow your instructions carefully and fully, to respect your home, notice any changes in your cats behaviour and keep you informed with clear updates. Trusting someone with your pet and home is a huge decision, and I take that responsibility seriously.
About: With 32 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats — including raising my own cheeky dachshund — I offer calm, loving care that feels just like home. I work full-time but have a flexible schedule, which means I can give pets the attention they need throughout the day — whether that’s morning walks, playtime, or evening cuddles. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow their normal routine and give them lots of love, attention, and care while respecting your space as if it were my own.

About: I have grown up around cats my whole life, visited friends and family who own cats and even house sat for cats before too! I’m qualified vet nurse assistant level 2, fully first aid trained and have knowledge of behaviour issues. I went to college at writtle university college, I looked after the cats everyday. Unfortunately I cannot to board as I own two dogs who have a high prey drive, but I’m more then happy to house sit for your little furries. Or drop in for cuddles!

About: Despite never having owned my own cat I have had a fair bit of experience with them. I have grown up with my grandparents cats as well as yard cats; I also undertook 2 years of work experience in a rescue centre primarily working with cats that required that extra bit of attention, and have a further 2 year experience of caring for other people’s cats in their own home.
About: I have owned cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a number of years for friends and relatives. I have also walked dogs and looked after them for family whenever they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the afternoons/evenings during the week days and I am available all times throughout the weekends to look after your furry friends! I would ensure that when visiting a customers house the cat/dog is comfortable around me and will ensure they get lots of cuddles attention and walks. I would not let any animal out of my sight, unless the cats have a cat flap.

About: I love cats of all kinds. I may not have professional cat sitting experience but I have always had cats in the home growning up and even as an adult until recent years. Whether your cat is looking for fuss and somwone to play with or if they just need to know someone's home to relax, I've got you covered!

“Bruno had a wonderful time with Chloe! Our 3-year-old Boxer (who very much still thinks he's a puppy) was in great hands. She clearly put in a lot of effort — a long, happy walk and plenty of socialising with other dogs made for one very content boy. He came home absolutely exhausted and is now snoring away in his bed, which is the best sign of a great day out. We really appreciate the care and attention Chloe gave him. Highly recommended! 🐾”

“Kelly & Ed were great with Rosie and gave us plenty of updates and photos whilst we were away for just one night. They actually seemed to be really looking forward to having her and I’m sure they made her feel at home. It was another hot sunny day but they made sure to take her out early in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend, but then again, don’t want them do busy that they can’t look after Rosie again !! 😝”

“Very successful, and I am very pleased she did not miss us too much However I also need to make sure Yhozmin M can manage taking her for walks. So I will book again before we leave her for 9 days. Thank you”

“Dexter can be quite anxious but Sally was very understanding and cared for him like he was her own. We were so reassured by Sally and it was lovely to get regular pictures and updates throughout the day. Great experience and we will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs of all age. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and keeps to their normal routine. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s extra playtime or gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to keep tails wagging and owners worry-free. We work from home so there is always someone around for a lap to sit on. Our dog gets a quick walk before work in the mornings then generally we work a longer one into the afternoon. We are often at home or we take our dog out with us to the forest or beach. I have a fenced off garden and stair gate on the kitchen door to stop any dogs escaping out the front door. We are a dogs on furniture kind of home and you will often find ours on our lap!

“Steven looked after our cockapoo Alfie really well and he came back a happy chap. During the day Alfie had a nice long walk. Steven is really attentive, took some great photos of Alfie and let us know how Alfie got on during the day. Very happy to recommend Steven.”

About: Welcome to my Rover profile 🐶🐾 If you're looking for a reliable, experienced pet sitter who genuinely loves animals, I’d be delighted to help take care of your pets and home while you're away. Below is more information on my experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. With 25 years' experience caring for animals, including 4 years' volunteering in a rescue shelter, I've developed a deep passion for animals of all kinds. In rescue, I had the pleasure of walking multiple dogs on each visit and caring for a variety of animals. I regularly look after the pets of my neighbours and friends which has given me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many furry companions. I've been a house sitter for 5 years and had the privilege of working with wonderful clients through Rover. I’ve built lasting connections with pet owners who trust me to look after their homes and pets, as if they were my own. I recently lost my own dog of 15 years, who was an adorable rescue staffy called Teddy from Battersea. I have experience with most breeds and comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments, including anxious or reactive dogs. I always recommend a meet and greet before booking, especially for dogs with specific needs or triggers, to make sure it’s a good fit and your dog feels safe and settled. Please do let me know in advance about any reactivity, routines, medical needs or behavioural quirks, the more I know, the better care I can provide. Thank you :) I am currently working from home (Mon-Fri), and flexible with work and meetings. For requests over 12 miles, a small fee will be charged to cover my petrol costs. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a message if you have any questions and would like to know more. I live in Saffron Walden and have a long garden in the countryside, with plenty of nearby fields, which I love to walk in. I ensure safety of pets by: • using secure leads • walking in safe areas • communicating with owners regularly • learning the commands your dog responds to • understanding your dog’s temperament • if there are any issues (I.e. not good around other dogs, people etc) • understanding what your dog enjoys (swimming in a lake) and finally, by building a great relationship with the pets and owners.

About: I have several years of professional house and pet sitting experience, built up through Trusted Housesitters, where I've earned over 30 five-star reviews. Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

About: I had a dog and many cats thoughout my life. Being brought up in Borneo and constantly surrounded by snakes and monkeys, I developed a strong passion and interest for everything nature and wildlife. I have a way of getting on with animals of all shapes and sizes! I very much look forward to making friends with all the pets I can! I'm currently working two days a week (Mon and Thurs) at a veterinary clinic. My weeks are very free for plenty of walks and play. I can only really care for smaller dogs or cats at my place as its a one bedroom flat. I'll happily entertain any who needs a place to stay.

My border collie is anxious with new dogs I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to house sit and walk your furry friends or drop in for cuddles. This means I have a lot of experience with different temperaments and also working in a vets means I have dealt with tough situations and bigger breeds. I have had rescue dogs since I was 6, sharing responsibility till I was older. I have now got two rescue dogs one from Romania (husky cross) who has three legs so needs extra support with medication and walks, and a border collie who is full of energy but requires longer walks and can be aggressive to others, I have experience with aggressive furries too! I’m located near Hatfield forest (5 min drive) and the flitch way is backing on to my property so if you’re furry friend is worried in a car, I can also use the flitch way for enrichment filled walks. I studied animal management at Writtle university college, meaning I have lots of experience with all kinds of species, including exotic birds, cats, small animals, reptiles and even wallabies. I have strong knowledge of behaviour issues and special food requirements, I am also confident to administrate medication, injection or oral. I have also trained both dogs I have now, so I’m more than happy to train or help alongside training schedules. I also have a range of dog fields near me, which are fully secure and include tons of enrichment and fun for your furry friends. I have a full time job, twice a week I will finish early meaning I am free all afternoon Every other weekend I’m available all weekend I live right by Hatfield forest, meaning your pups will have enrichment filled walks! I’m experienced with all breeds and confident to assist with behavioural issues

About: Hello! My name is Elisa and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them and have had pets in my life since the day I was born. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different animals and breeds. I’ve had Dachshunds, a German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terriers, a Pinscher, a French Bulldog, and mixed-breed dogs as well. I currently have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is a big part of my life. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also had other pets growing up, including a mixed-breed cat and even a rabbit, which gave me experience caring for different types of animals and understanding their unique needs and behaviours. Caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy spending time with them, going for walks, playing, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always try to respect their habits and make them feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and well cared for while you have peace of mind. I would be very happy to look after your pet as if they were part of my own family. I work part-time and I’m also studying, which means I have a structured but flexible routine. I spend a lot of time at home and can dedicate attention, care and playtime to the pets I look after during the week and weekends. I provide a calm and safe home environment for pets. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and routine, making sure they feel comfortable, supervised and well cared for at all times. I treat every pet with patience, kindness and responsibility.

I look forward to hearing from you! Currently working part-time from home (design/printmaker), so I have plenty of moments during my day for connection and care. I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.
About: I grew up with dogs, I beleieve their first language is love. They can feel it. A life without dogs is lifeless, I've been told my house is the 'Dog Rehab' They always leave feeling better. I work in media from home,i need walks as much as my dog because I beleieve it's essential to take a break from the screen and refresh my mind. Pets get alot of love and frequently rewarded in my home for just being beautiful animals. I have lots of treats. They love to be around me, but I do give them freedom to explore the home. Nothing dangerous around the flat as it's a pretty minimalistic w comfy rugs in the living room and dog beds in my room.
About: I have years of experience looking after pets of friends, my own, and through word of mouth I have house sat for many others. I have looked after and helped train dogs of varying ages including those with challenging behaviour. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and ensure your dog feels comfortable, cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.
