We couldn’t recommend Miriam and Theo (& Milo) highly enough! They recently looked after our frenchie Pablo who didn’t have much socialisation before we adopted him. They were both great at easing our concerns and provided a fun and comfortable home for him during the stay

George was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend boarding at his home. He was super responsive and very accommodating and mindful of Indy's requirements as a 12 year old greyhound. We did an intro with George's dog Daisy prior to Indy's stay, to make sure they got on and well, they had a blast - Daisy is a delightful and very happy pooch. George sent through regular updates and some lovely photos that were taken on a visit to a pumpkin patch. Indy was very much treated as part of the family and clearly had a wonderful time. I will be booking another stay soon!

I’ve just collected my dog, Amba, after she stayed with Nadja for almost 3 weeks. Throughout her stay, I received regular updates, including lots of photos and videos which really reassured me that she was happy and very well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time. Nadja also informed me that Amba had an issue with her ear and took great care in cleaning it daily and monitoring it closely, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use Nadja again and would highly recommend her to others.

It is very difficult to quantify how incredible and sweet Andreia and her beautiful family are. I could talk about how wonderful she was with our “less than easy” Spaniel, but there are so many other aspects of Andreia that makes her quite special. We had numerous complications with our holiday plans including a very last minute postponement as a result of American bombing in the Middle East. Andreia took it all in her stride. In summary, I would dare to suggest that if you are lucky enough to have Andreia take care of your dog, you can count yourself lucky.

Chloe is a fantastic dog sitter. We were able as a family to have a hotel experience holiday because Nelly, our nearly two year old English pointer, was in such good hands. Every day we got multiple feedbacks from Chloe about how Nelly’s day was, what she did, where she went, which doggy friends she played with. We think, she had a better holiday than us😀! On top of that, when we got Nelly home, she stopped her naughty habits of going on the sofa. This was clearly down to Chloe’s magic, her passion for dogs, and knowledge of also training them. We will definitely book her again. We cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Chloe.

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature to me. From energetic border collies to affectionate cocker spaniels and playful labradoodles, I’ve had experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I regularly look after dogs for family and friends purely because I love it—it never feels like a chore. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I genuinely enjoy making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and well cared for. My partner and I both work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re able to be very hands-on, stick to routines, and give lots of care, cuddles, and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine as my partner and I both work from home, so your dog will have constant company and attention throughout the day. We love getting out for walks, whether it’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure, before work, during lunch, and in the evenings, with plenty of lovely local trails to explore. At home, we have a large 150ft garden where we enjoy spending time, giving your dog plenty of space to play, relax, and roam freely in a safe environment. Your dog will be treated as part of our home from the moment they arrive. My partner and I both work from home, so they’ll never be left alone for long and will have plenty of attention, interaction, and supervision throughout the day. We keep things relaxed and tailored to each dog whether they love long walks on the local trails, shorter strolls, or just pottering around the garden. We’re lucky to have a large 150ft garden, which is a big part of our daily routine and gives dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, or simply relax outside. For overnight boarding, we focus on helping dogs feel settled and comfortable in a new environment. We stick closely to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, and any specific needs, so everything feels familiar and stress free. We genuinely love having dogs around and regularly care for family and friends’ pets, so creating a calm, safe, and happy environment is something that comes naturally to us.

About: I have always had dogs throughout my life and truly enjoy being around them. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I would love the opportunity to spend time caring for and looking after other people’s dogs. I am caring, reliable, and happy to give them attention, walks, and companionship. am currently taking time off from my job, which means I have plenty of time to give your pup the care, attention, walks, and love they deserve. I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. Inside the house, I provide a cosy and comfortable space including a comfy bed and plenty of toys to keep them entertained and happy.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous professional dog handling background, which has given me confidence in caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable looking after energetic puppies, larger breeds, and older dogs who may need a gentler pace and extra patience. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every dog, I treat each one as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and attentive to every pet’s individual needs. Due to Army commitments, my standard availability is weekends. However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.

About: I’ve had 4 dogs and 2 cats in my lifetime as pets and I have volunteered at a rescue center and pet sat for neighbors and friends for over a decade. I have experience with timid and shy animals, helping them find their comfort and confidence. I am nurturing and have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home the majority of the week. I’m currently working a 9-5 job that is mostly from home. I stop in on the morning visits around 7-8am to give breakfast, then again for a midday check in or walk on my lunch break. I then go around when I’m off work, by 6 or 7 pm to serve dinner and a nightly walk or play session. This is my standard routine, but is tailored for each client during the meet and greet. I have a fenced in garden that is huge and clear for your pet to run around and play. My child is very used to cats and dogs, as she has visited with my mums dogs and is used to having pets we take care of come around. We have places in the house for your pets dog bed or crate, so they have their own space, but are happy for them to be on the furniture as well.

El looked after Savannah for four days while we were away. She arrived on time on the day we left which was reassuring that she would be there to look after Savannah. I got daily updates with photo's and videos. When I got back Savannah had actually put on weight, probably due to the breakfasts in bed when she was too lazy to negotiate the stairs. The plants were watered as requested. I recommend El for house sitting.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this lovely, caring couple and the amazing care they provide for Zizel. From the moment I found them, I knew Zizel was in the best possible hands, in a safe environment and a great space. I have booked them before and I already knew how consistently punctual, responsive, and organised they are. I never worry about Zizel when I’m away. You can see how much they adore animals in every hug, treat, and playful moment. Zizel lights up when we arrive at their place! Their home and garden are clean, secure, and welcoming. I felt completely at ease leaving Zizel in their care. They kept me updated with photos and by filling the Rover Card with Zizel’s walks, meals, and mood. It truly feels like I’m right there with her every time. Even though my Zizel is older and not as energised anymore, I found her playing with Milo and enjoying her time. The guys are always attentive to Zizel’s safety, health considerations, and any special instructions. I trust them completely. I’d recommend them to everyone If you’re looking for a dog sitter who treats your pup like family, goes above and beyond, and makes your life easier, these are the sitters you want. They make your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being their top priorities, and it shows in every detail. Bruno had a wonderful time with Chloe! Our 3-year-old Boxer (who very much still thinks he's a puppy) was in great hands. She clearly put in a lot of effort — a long, happy walk and plenty of socialising with other dogs made for one very content boy. He came home absolutely exhausted and is now snoring away in his bed, which is the best sign of a great day out. We really appreciate the care and attention Chloe gave him. Highly recommended! 🐾

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 10, two Hungarian vizlas and my family has two very sassy sausages! have looked after older dogs, and also younger, I looked after two puppy pointers for two weeks so I understand the challenges that come with puppies. I’m a photographer and therefore love to take my camera out to get some great shots of the dogs in action! I work part time so have plenty of free weekdays, mornings work best. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are completely free days, and the occasional weekend are free. I live in a very secure house in elsenham with a fenced garden, being in Elsenham means there’s lots of lovely dog walking areas as well which I love. I work remotely Monday to Wednesday and have Thursday and Friday off so am quite flexible! I sometimes head to Devon so would need at least a couple of days notice if dog care needed. I have a fenced garden so your dog will be safe at all times. I work downstairs so your dog will have company at all times as well :)

About: Significantly more attuned than the average person to the language of dogs and cats, I am incredibly caring and adore animals. I volunteer with Guide Dogs as a respite carer and have had dogs in my life since birth, (my first word was woof and that’s no lie) and then later cats … and rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters and horses. Friends and family often ask for my assistance caring for their pets and I have a reputation for being a dog / cat magnet. I am a gardener and digital consultant, so I’ll either be at home or the dog can come out to work with me if they are well behaved and it’s something they would enjoy. Otherwise they will be left at my home - open plan kitchen and lounge for up to 4 hours (depending on the animal). The day starts with a walk, with another a dinner time. Cuddles on the sofa to end the day. About: For me, pet sitting isn’t just about feeding and walking—it’s about making pets feel loved and secure while their family is away. I’ve cared for seniors who need extra patience, playful pups and kittens full of energy, and even pets with little ones of their own. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I truly enjoy getting to know them and making them feel at home with me. 🐕🐈🐇🐠 I love them all! Pet care fits right into my routine because I’m home most of the week. That means your pets get companionship, care, and lots of love just like they would from family. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on making pets feel loved and secure. At my home, they’ll get play, exercise, and cozy spots to rest. In your home, I’ll keep their routine consistent so they feel happy and comfortable.

About: Welcome to my Rover profile 🐶🐾 If you're looking for a reliable, experienced pet sitter who genuinely loves animals, I’d be delighted to help take care of your pets and home while you're away. Below is more information on my experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. With 25 years' experience caring for animals, including 4 years' volunteering in a rescue shelter, I've developed a deep passion for animals of all kinds. In rescue, I had the pleasure of walking multiple dogs on each visit and caring for a variety of animals. I regularly look after the pets of my neighbours and friends which has given me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many furry companions. I've been a house sitter for 5 years and had the privilege of working with wonderful clients through Rover. I’ve built lasting connections with pet owners who trust me to look after their homes and pets, as if they were my own. I recently lost my own dog of 15 years, who was an adorable rescue staffy called Teddy from Battersea. I have experience with most breeds and comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments, including anxious or reactive dogs. I always recommend a meet and greet before booking, especially for dogs with specific needs or triggers, to make sure it’s a good fit and your dog feels safe and settled. Please do let me know in advance about any reactivity, routines, medical needs or behavioural quirks, the more I know, the better care I can provide. Thank you :) I am currently working from home (Mon-Fri), and flexible with work and meetings. For requests over 12 miles, a small fee will be charged to cover my petrol costs. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a message if you have any questions and would like to know more. I live in Saffron Walden and have a long garden in the countryside, with plenty of nearby fields, which I love to walk in. I ensure safety of pets by: • using secure leads • walking in safe areas • communicating with owners regularly • learning the commands your dog responds to • understanding your dog’s temperament • if there are any issues (I.e. not good around other dogs, people etc) • understanding what your dog enjoys (swimming in a lake) and finally, by building a great relationship with the pets and owners.

About: I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs of all age. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and keeps to their normal routine. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s extra playtime or gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to keep tails wagging and owners worry-free. We work from home so there is always someone around for a lap to sit on. Our dog gets a quick walk before work in the mornings then generally we work a longer one into the afternoon. We are often at home or we take our dog out with us to the forest or beach. I have a fenced off garden and stair gate on the kitchen door to stop any dogs escaping out the front door. We are a dogs on furniture kind of home and you will often find ours on our lap!

About: I’ve looked after dogs my entire life, I’ve always taken on a large part of the responsibility with my dogs including walking, feeding, grooming, and training them. I have a lot of availability throughout the week (including weekends). I would love to be able to help out some busy pet owners in my spare time by doing something I’ve always enjoyed. About: I have several years of professional house and pet sitting experience, built up through Trusted Housesitters, where I've earned over 30 five-star reviews. Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

About: Hello! My name is Elisa and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them and have had pets in my life since the day I was born. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different animals and breeds. I’ve had Dachshunds, a German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terriers, a Pinscher, a French Bulldog, and mixed-breed dogs as well. I currently have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is a big part of my life. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also had other pets growing up, including a mixed-breed cat and even a rabbit, which gave me experience caring for different types of animals and understanding their unique needs and behaviours. Caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy spending time with them, going for walks, playing, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always try to respect their habits and make them feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and well cared for while you have peace of mind. I would be very happy to look after your pet as if they were part of my own family. I work part-time and I’m also studying, which means I have a structured but flexible routine. I spend a lot of time at home and can dedicate attention, care and playtime to the pets I look after during the week and weekends. I provide a calm and safe home environment for pets. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and routine, making sure they feel comfortable, supervised and well cared for at all times. I treat every pet with patience, kindness and responsibility.

Chiara was fantastic with our nervous boy, she had a great understanding of how to make him feel comfortable and relaxed, looked after him with fireworks and did everything she could to make him feel at home. Could not recommend enough!

Lisa looked after our two dogs overnight. Lisa dealt with our timid spaniel very well. Our terrier apparently became part of the family straight away! We will definitely be using Lisa again.

I’d like to look after the pet in the same manor as their owner does and make sure they’re well cared for, always have fresh water, and are let out regularly.

I have a fenced garden with grass, no other pets or children and I live on a quiet cul de sac in the heart of the Essex countryside with walks and fields in every direction.

About: I’m a huge animal lover and currently own a very friendly 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well as two rabbits, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets. I have previous experience dog, cat and rabbit sitting for family and friends and always treat every animal as if they were my own. I’ve always had a deep compassion for animals, and their wellbeing is always my top priority. My dog is extremely gentle and friendly with both dogs and rabbits, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I also understand how reassuring updates are for owners, so I always send plenty of photos and messages while you’re away. I’m currently studying Digital Marketing at university, which has helped me become organised, reliable and communicative. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and make them feel safe, loved and happy while you’re away 🐾 I currently work part-time alongside studying Digital Marketing at university, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. If I’m not home, my partner usually is, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting throughout the week and weekends, and I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, care and exercise. I have a very friendly 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who gets along well with both dogs and rabbits. For safety and comfort, I only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs. My own rabbits live outside in their own large secure fenced area, completely separate from visiting pets. If I care for rabbits in my home, they will always stay safely indoors. My dog is very gentle with rabbits, but if a rabbit is nervous or prefers space, I’m able to keep them fully separated to make sure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. Dogs in my care will receive at least two walks a day, lots of attention, playtime and regular photo updates for owners while they’re away 🐾
