“Chloe provided great care to our dog while we were away on holiday. Chloe provided daily photos and updates which were always well received. I would highly recommend Chloe for your dog boarding needs!”

About: Hello! My name is Aleksandra (or Sasha), and I’m a huge dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust to look after your beloved furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my experience. I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Drop me a message and I will be happy to chat! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week. My office days are usually Monday and Thursday, but can be adjusted if needed. My weekends are usually free, so I can easily help out with walks, drop-in visits, or dog sitting when needed. I live in a secure apartment building, so any dogs staying with me will be in a safe and supervised environment. I only take on a limited number of dogs at a time so that I can give each one plenty of attention and make sure they feel comfortable. I’m also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walks within Saffron Walden, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I have a 12-year-old dog who gets along well with most dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes. For that reason, I would prefer to arrange a first meeting in a neutral open space, such as a park area, before any stay in my home. I find that this helps dogs get to know each other more comfortably and makes the experience much smoother for everyone. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll make sure your dog is treated with the same care and attention that I give my own.
“Lisa and her family are amazing. Our girls had the best time. They loved their little holiday and it was so nice leaving them and knowing they were happy. Thank you Lisa!”

“A*** Lovely lady very caring and trustworthy absolutely recommend Karen. Coco had the best time and I had no concerns about leaving her. If your looking for a sitter Karen is your lady very attentive and extremely capable looking after your fur baby”

“Amazing stay for our dog Ralph! Miriam and her partner are incredible. Gorgeous home and setting with the added bonus of their dog Milo, a perfect companion for Ralph. Leaving Ralph as a family would usually make us feel guilty but seeing him so happy with beautiful photos and videos from Miriam made us feel so relaxed and happy. Ralph actually had a luxury weekend break, made friends and enjoyed a bubble bath 🥰🙏🏼 Could not be happier that we found Miriam as she just made everything so easy and chilled even down to us needing an extra night stay at a last minute request. Everything was so simple and easy. So Grateful 🙏🏼 Ralph will be back very soon as he misses Milo 🐶”

“Our Retriever enjoyed a very happy stay with Sally, photos were sent every day. They looked after him with love and care and we couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent dog sitters and would highly recommend.”

“Jess was great, very responsive and really attentive to quite the nervous dog. She went out of her way to make sure our dog was well cared for and gave us regular updates. Would definitely use her again and can't thank her and her partner enough for the care provided.”

“Andrew has been excellent from start to finish. I contacted him with a last minute booking for my 10 year old Staffy and he was very accommodating. I have never had to leave my dog with a sitter before so was apprehensive, but as soon as I arrived and met Andrew and his parents my mind was put to rest. Lovely people, with a lovely home. Andrew had a very calming demeanour and I knew my dog was in safe hands. He provided photo updates and answered any questions I had, and most importantly Presley come back as happy and daft as ever. I was able to enjoy my trip away knowing my dog was safe and well looked after. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! 10/10, thank you 🙏🏼”

“Chiara was fantastic with our nervous boy, she had a great understanding of how to make him feel comfortable and relaxed, looked after him with fireworks and did everything she could to make him feel at home. Could not recommend enough!”

“This was our first time using Rover and it all went very well. Melody took on board all we asked of her around caring for our lively German Shepherd, Meg, for the weekend. Melody sent us photos through the visit and we know our dog well - we could see she was happy. Meg seemed to have been enjoying herself when we picked her up. We would be happy to be repeat customers in the future. Thanks very much.”

About: With 32 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats — including raising my own cheeky dachshund — I offer calm, loving care that feels just like home. I work full-time but have a flexible schedule, which means I can give pets the attention they need throughout the day — whether that’s morning walks, playtime, or evening cuddles. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow their normal routine and give them lots of love, attention, and care while respecting your space as if it were my own.

“I cannot recommend Kiera enough! We booked Kiera through Cat in a Flat to look after our five cats for two whole weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful. From our very first communication, she was incredibly polite, kind, and professional, which immediately put my mind at ease for such a long trip. Taking care of five cats is no small task, but Kiera handled it perfectly. Every day, she sent me detailed updates and lovely photos, so I always knew my fur babies were safe and happy. She took care of all the essentials flawlessly—feeding them on schedule and keeping all the litter boxes completely spotless. What really stood out to me was how she went above and beyond. A couple of times, my cats had little accidents, and Kiera kindly cleaned up the vomit and mess without a single complaint. She is truly dedicated to the well-being of the pets she watches. As a wonderful bonus, she even stepped in to feed our fish! I also really appreciated how comfortable and understanding she was regarding our home security. We have several cameras installed for safety (on the outside corner of the house, the front door, the garden fence, as well as inside the living room and nursery). Some sitters might find that intimidating, but it didn't bother Kiera at all, which just proves how transparent, trustworthy, and professional she is. Kiera is a very sweet, reliable, and hardworking sitter. Her messages were always so polite and a joy to read. If you are looking for someone who will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, Kiera is the perfect choice. I will definitely be booking her again! 5/5 stars! 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈”

“Thank you Annie for stopping in at short notice to give Kai a run around and lots of fun playing! The updates you sent were great and we’d happily recommend you or have you look after Kai again!”

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally. Growing up with cats has given me experience with a wide range of personalities, from confident and affectionate lap cats to nervous and senior cats with more complex needs. I understand that every cat is different and can adapt to different temperaments. Alongside my life long experience with cats, my policing background has shaped me into a dependable, observant and trustworthy person. As a cat sitter, this means you can rely on me to follow your instructions carefully and fully, to respect your home, notice any changes in your cats behaviour and keep you informed with clear updates. Trusting someone with your pet and home is a huge decision, and I take that responsibility seriously.

About: I am a loyal, trustworthy, and deeply animal-loving person who has always felt happiest when surrounded by pets. Growing up, I was constantly drawn to animals, and caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something that comes naturally to me. I have pets of my own, so I truly understand the responsibility, patience, and love that goes into keeping animals happy, healthy, and safe. Being a pet owner has taught me how important routine, attention, and affection are in an animal’s life. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a pet sitter and dog walker because I genuinely love being around animals of all kinds. Spending time with them brings me joy, and I take pride in making them feel comfortable and secure, especially when their owners are away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I am committed to providing the same level of love and dedication that I give to my own pets. My passion for animal care motivates me every day. I am attentive to details, patient with different personalities, and always focused on each pet’s well-being. Becoming a pet sitter isn’t just a job for me—it’s an opportunity to turn my love for animals into meaningful work where I can make a positive difference in their lives.

Whether your cat is looking for fuss and somwone to play with or if they just need to know someone's home to relax, I've got you covered!
About: I have owned cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a number of years for friends and relatives. I have also walked dogs and looked after them for family whenever they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the afternoons/evenings during the week days and I am available all times throughout the weekends to look after your furry friends! I would ensure that when visiting a customers house the cat/dog is comfortable around me and will ensure they get lots of cuddles attention and walks. I would not let any animal out of my sight, unless the cats have a cat flap.

About: I have experience caring for cats, including my own senior cat, Frank, whom we adopted and cared for with love and patience. Looking after an older cat taught me to be attentive to their routines, comfort and individual needs. “Very successful, and I am very pleased she did not miss us too much However I also need to make sure Yhozmin M can manage taking her for walks. So I will book again before we leave her for 9 days. Thank you”

“Dexter can be quite anxious but Sally was very understanding and cared for him like he was her own. We were so reassured by Sally and it was lovely to get regular pictures and updates throughout the day. Great experience and we will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Bruno had a wonderful time with Chloe! Our 3-year-old Boxer (who very much still thinks he's a puppy) was in great hands. She clearly put in a lot of effort — a long, happy walk and plenty of socialising with other dogs made for one very content boy. He came home absolutely exhausted and is now snoring away in his bed, which is the best sign of a great day out. We really appreciate the care and attention Chloe gave him. Highly recommended! 🐾”

“Steven looked after our cockapoo Alfie really well and he came back a happy chap. During the day Alfie had a nice long walk. Steven is really attentive, took some great photos of Alfie and let us know how Alfie got on during the day. Very happy to recommend Steven.”

“Kelly & Ed were great with Rosie and gave us plenty of updates and photos whilst we were away for just one night. They actually seemed to be really looking forward to having her and I’m sure they made her feel at home. It was another hot sunny day but they made sure to take her out early in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend, but then again, don’t want them do busy that they can’t look after Rosie again !! 😝”

About: I had a dog and many cats thoughout my life. Being brought up in Borneo and constantly surrounded by snakes and monkeys, I developed a strong passion and interest for everything nature and wildlife. I have worked as a veterinary nurse for two years, where I worked with everything under the sun; from hamsters to birds to lions! I've also worked as personal dog carer for a royal family in the middle east for about 6 months. I love all animals and promise to treat them as I would my own! I have a way of getting on with animals of all shapes and sizes! I very much look forward to making friends with all the pets I can! I'm currently working two days a week (Mon and Thurs) at a veterinary clinic. My weeks are very free for plenty of walks and play. I can only really care for smaller dogs or cats at my place as its a one bedroom flat. I'll happily entertain any who needs a place to stay.

About: I have several years of professional house and pet sitting experience, built up through Trusted Housesitters, where I've earned over 30 five-star reviews. Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I truly enjoy getting to know them and making them feel at home with me. 🐕🐈🐇🐠 I love them all! Pet care fits right into my routine because I’m home most of the week. That means your pets get companionship, care, and lots of love just like they would from family. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on making pets feel loved and secure. At my home, they’ll get play, exercise, and cozy spots to rest. About: Welcome to my Rover profile 🐶🐾 If you're looking for a reliable, experienced pet sitter who genuinely loves animals, I’d be delighted to help take care of your pets and home while you're away. Below is more information on my experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. With 25 years' experience caring for animals, including 4 years' volunteering in a rescue shelter, I've developed a deep passion for animals of all kinds. In rescue, I had the pleasure of walking multiple dogs on each visit and caring for a variety of animals. I regularly look after the pets of my neighbours and friends which has given me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many furry companions. I've been a house sitter for 5 years and had the privilege of working with wonderful clients through Rover. I’ve built lasting connections with pet owners who trust me to look after their homes and pets, as if they were my own. I recently lost my own dog of 15 years, who was an adorable rescue staffy called Teddy from Battersea. I have experience with most breeds and comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments, including anxious or reactive dogs. I always recommend a meet and greet before booking, especially for dogs with specific needs or triggers, to make sure it’s a good fit and your dog feels safe and settled. Please do let me know in advance about any reactivity, routines, medical needs or behavioural quirks, the more I know, the better care I can provide. Thank you :) I am currently working from home (Mon-Fri), and flexible with work and meetings. For requests over 12 miles, a small fee will be charged to cover my petrol costs. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a message if you have any questions and would like to know more. I live in Saffron Walden and have a long garden in the countryside, with plenty of nearby fields, which I love to walk in. I ensure safety of pets by: • using secure leads • walking in safe areas • communicating with owners regularly • learning the commands your dog responds to • understanding your dog’s temperament • if there are any issues (I.e. not good around other dogs, people etc) • understanding what your dog enjoys (swimming in a lake) and finally, by building a great relationship with the pets and owners.

About: Whether your dog needs a fun walk, some company while you’re away, or a little extra care and attention, I’m happy to help. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I am a shift worker so have quite a lot of days off in a month. I work a 4 DAYS ON / 4 DAYS OFF pattern. I have a large spacious house with outdoor area and great locations for dog walks. Lots of fields to go walking in locally also x

About: 20 years of experience raising and caring for animals at home (cocker spaniel, dachshund, border-collie, maine-coone) Deeply empathetic, considerate and gentle, I'm happy to accommodate any special care requests you require. I look forward to hearing from you! Currently working part-time from home (design/printmaker), so I have plenty of moments during my day for connection and care. I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.

About: Hello! My name is Elisa and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them and have had pets in my life since the day I was born. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different animals and breeds. I’ve had Dachshunds, a German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terriers, a Pinscher, a French Bulldog, and mixed-breed dogs as well. I currently have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is a big part of my life. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also had other pets growing up, including a mixed-breed cat and even a rabbit, which gave me experience caring for different types of animals and understanding their unique needs and behaviours. Caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I truly enjoy spending time with them, going for walks, playing, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always try to respect their habits and make them feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and well cared for while you have peace of mind. I would be very happy to look after your pet as if they were part of my own family. I work part-time and I’m also studying, which means I have a structured but flexible routine. I spend a lot of time at home and can dedicate attention, care and playtime to the pets I look after during the week and weekends. I provide a calm and safe home environment for pets. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and routine, making sure they feel comfortable, supervised and well cared for at all times. I treat every pet with patience, kindness and responsibility.
“Thanks Kirsten, that was a walk and a half! They are both happy and don’t seem to be upset by being left so this is a great solution to occasional dog sitting. The report, map and photos were very reassuring.”

“Our Retriever enjoyed a very happy stay with Sally, photos were sent every day. They looked after him with love and care and we couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent dog sitters and would highly recommend.”

“Steven was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I recieved lots of photos and regular updates. He also went above and beyond to make sure Indy felt at home and had a wonderful stay, with lots of walks and pampering! I would highly recommend and will certainly be rebooking with Steven again.”

“This was the second time Monty stayed, and this time overnight. While he’s not the easiest puppy at the moment, she handled him brilliantly. She did such a wonderful job with him and I’m definitely booking again.”

My home has a small secure fenced garden where dogs can safely play, relax in the sunshine, and have access to the outdoors whenever they need. I don’t live alone, so Ivanna is also able to open the garden door at any time, giving the dogs easy access to the outside area. I would love to welcome dogs into my home and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while they are with me.

“Barbara was so lovely with Jackson and he became her shadow when out on walks. She made a huge fuss of him, with hugs and kisses, and clearly loved him. Jackson was allowed on the settee and upstairs and treated as their own pet. He got on well with Enzo, Barbara’s Cavalier Spaniel and there were no issues whatsoever. I can highly recommend Barbara and her partner Alan who also bonded with Jackson. They are a delightful couple and I trust them fully to look after Jackson and make his stay as homely as possible.”
