About: Hi, I'm Connie, a 26 year old nutrition student looking to meet and care for your gorgeous doggies like my own! I have owned my energetic female Vizsla for the past 8 years, so I'm very familiar with the needs of active, intelligent dogs with big personalities! I also had a much loved cat for 15 years, giving me experience caring for both dogs and cats throughout different stages of life. I live in a beautiful rural area just outside Felsted, conveniently located near Chelmsford, Braintree and Great Dunmow. Being surrounded by countryside means I have plenty of experience walking dogs in a variety of outdoor settings. I am most comfortable with small to medium sized dogs and always prioritise safety during walks. For this reason, I prefer on lead walking, whether using a short lead or a longer training lead, depending on your dog's needs and your preferences. I'm currently looking to build relationships with local owners who require regular and reliable dog sitting or walking services. I am happy to offer overnight stays for local clients within approximately 15 miles of Felsted. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pet, and I will always treat your dog with the same care, patience and attention that I give my own. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to discuss your dog's needs or arrange a meet and greet. I have a flexible schedule and can provide short-term pet care services, including dog walks, drop-in visits and day sitting, Monday to Saturday between 8am and 10pm. I also offer overnight and multi-day stays throughout the week, subject to availability and pre-arrangement. For overnight or extended bookings, I kindly ask for at least 3 days' notice wherever possible. I'm happy to discuss your individual requirements and accommodate regular or recurring bookings. I am happy to provide pet care within your home and in local areas for walking services. For owners who prefer, I can also transport dogs in my car to quieter countryside locations for rural walks and enrichment. At present, I do not offer boarding or pet care from my own home. I am most confident caring for small to medium-sized dogs that are friendly, well-socialised and comfortable around people. I am experienced in administering medications, following feeding routines and adapting to any specific medical, mobility or comfort requirements your pet may have. I live with my partner, Luke, in the beautiful Essex countryside, with stunning walks right on our doorstep—the perfect setting for your dog to explore, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. Although we don’t have our own dog due to work, we make up for it with lots of love, attention, and playtime for every guest. I’m more than happy to arrange a meet and greet so you and your pet can feel comfortable before staying. Your dog’s safety is our top priority. We have a medium-sized, fully gated and fenced garden with plenty of grassed and shaded areas where your dog can safely play and explore. Your pet will always be supervised while outdoors, and we make sure the environment is safe and comfortable. About: I am a professional pet sitter and have been set up as a business “Pet Sitting By Nicola” since August 2018. I began as predominantly a live-in overnight pet sitter, but I can now offer regular weekly dog walks and pet visits, along with ad hoc walks and visits. The pet visits I offer can include feeding, medication, health checks, dog walks, pop in visits for toilet breaks, company and enrichment activities. I have completed my Canine and Feline first aid certificates, a pet sitting diploma and many other canine qualifications with the Dog training college including certificates in separation anxiety, reactive dogs, rescue dogs, and dog psychology/behaviour. I have an additional 3 years experience in pet sitting prior to setting up my business (overnight and day sits) for friends and family. I also have 3 years experience dog walking on a voluntary basis for elderly and terminally ill hospice patients via St Nicholas Hospice and Our special Friends animal charity. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs with the majority of dog breeds. I have experience caring for dogs with joint disease including IVDD, Hip Dysplasia, Arthritis, as well as paralysed dogs and those recovering from surgery. I can help with other animals too including birds, small furries, reptiles and some farm animals including goats, ducks and pigs. I live in your home looking after your pets overnight, replicating their normal routine to ensure they are settled and content. I will need to go out for approx. 4 hours over the lunch periods for dog walks, along with a couple of hours morning and evening for personal errands and short pet visits. But should your pet require more company this may be possible on selected dates for an extra hourly charge. I take good care of peoples properties and I clean up after myself. As well as providing care for your pet, I offer security for your home. I follow the clients instructions to care for their pets, and I can offer quality time in the hours I’m home with the pets giving company, walks, enrichment and play. I include small tasks around the house like putting bins out, collecting post, taking in deliveries, and 5 minutes of plant watering. Should more plant watering be required I can offer this for an additional charge.

About: I have grown up with and always loved animals. I regularly look after dogs of varying breeds (and personalities) for friends and family which I absolutely love. My experience varies from stubborn Huskies to yappy Jack Russel's to needy Siamese cats while also loving my own boisterous Labrador. This also varies in age, from my own 1 year old Labrador who we have had since a puppy, to more senior dogs who prefer a slower pace of life. I am understanding of the fact that different breeds and ages have different needs and requirements when it comes to daily care and I am always happy to incorporate this into their daily routine. Please feel free to message me for anymore information or any questions you may have. I currently work from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so will be around all day. I have a Labrador of my own, so we are in the routine of letting the dog out regularly, providing two walks a day and doing regular check ins to make sure there is plenty of water and all needs are met. Our garden is fully enclosed so the dogs are able to venture in and out as they please. My Labrador is still crated at night, however if your dog does not require crating this is fine. During the day, you dog will never be left for more than two hours. They layout of our house is slightly different, with the living area being on the first floor. This may not always be the best for more senior dogs. If there is any issues with this then please let me know.

I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.
