About: We have a large fenced garden and a cosy home and your dogs will be treated as part of our family during their stay. I understand the importance of routine, especially when dogs are in a new environment, and will ensure they are cared for exactly as you request with plenty of photo updates throughout the stay. I totally understand the desire for your dogs to feel loved and cared for when you are away - rest assured they will be doted on! We have 2 friendly female resident dogs who love having doggy mates, Bonnie (7 yr old cockapoo) and Inka (3 yr old Frenchie), so your dog will have some canine company. I'm currently on maternity leave and have plenty of time to be with your pup and give them lots of attention, cuddles and exercise. My husband works from home 100% of the time, so there will always be company for your dog. I have a secure, large fenced garden with plenty of grass and space for playing. It is clean and hazard free, and easily accessible from the kitchen.

“I had a last-minute trip abroad and found myself in a bit of a panic about what to do with my 3-month-old Cockapoo, Barry. I started looking into local kennels, but I quickly realized they weren’t the kind of place I wanted for my little guy—cold concrete floors and steel cages, with extra fees for a few minutes of play or attention. That wasn’t the environment I felt comfortable leaving Barry in, so I began searching for a better option. That’s when I found Rover and, more importantly, Charlotte! After messaging her about availability, we arranged to meet, and I couldn’t have been happier. Charlotte was so friendly and bubbly, instantly putting me at ease. She asked all the right questions about Barry—his training, his care needs—and told me about her own experience with dogs. During his stay, Barry not only bonded with Charlotte but also made friends with her Mum, and her dog Luna, who Charlotte had told me about and I agreed to them meeting (and hopefully getting along for play!). They had a blast together—forest walks, playtime, and even a seaside adventure where Barry got to dash around the sand and splash in the waves. Charlotte kept me updated with sweet texts and tons of adorable photos, showing Barry living his best life. Now that Barry has a new buddy in Luna, we’re even planning some future walks together, which I know will be fantastic for Barry and help him stay comfortable with Charlotte for future stays. About: What on earth is a kahu I hear you ask - a kahu is a Hawaiian word for someone who acts as a guardian and protector of precious things, including furry souls. I have 35 years of experience caring for and loving all kinds of furry friends (including some unexpected rescues) dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, a squirrel, a cockerel, cockatiel and budgies and horses. Some of them all at once! I work from home mostly, (set office day once a week), and so I have the capacity and time to take care of other furry friends alongside Blue and Libs (my two rescues adopted as puppies, now almost 8 and 5 years old). I have a fenced garden and a home-from-home approach to caring for guests. Blue and Libs are both spayed and vaccinated and are used to meeting new friends, although an intro beforehand is always a good plan to make sure everyone is happy. Walks and outings will be adjusted or avoided during hot weather, and I’m very mindful of temperature and breathing. My home is very dog-friendly, with a completely secure fenced garden, gates on doors/stairs where needed, and plenty of cosy places to relax. I also have steps for getting on and off the sofa and a dog buggy available for dogs with IVDD, back problems or limited mobility. My main approach is to make their stay feel as much like home as possible. I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding times, sleeping arrangements, medication and house rules — even the little quirks that might sound silly to anyone else! If they’re crate-trained, I’m happy to use their crate, and if they’re used to sleeping in bed with someone, they’re welcome to do that too. 🤍 Safety is really important to me. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. I'm currently off training (cycling) for a month or two, and will be coming back into training very slowly, so have a lot more free time. Dog Walking - we provide a dog walking services on a variety of walks around the Suffolk and Essex border area. I am fully DBS checked and certificated, if you are out I am happy to visit your home by arrangement and pick up your dogs for that much needed walk. We have a van which has dog crates fitted so that your loved ones are transported safely to and from the walk. afterwards I will towel down your pet and leave them safe and secure in your home. About: I am currently doing a masters degree in veterinary physiotherapy as well as having a degree in Animal Therapy. I have owned dogs and other various animals my whole life as well as working in the animal industry, and worked with a range of breeds and ages and love seeing their different personalities. My schedule varies weekly due to also working in a vet practice but I am flexible with notice for whatever is needed allowing me to have lots of time to look after your pups! I always listen to the owners schedule and try to stick to their usual routines, through this I learn the dog and am able to always think of their safety

We also had a late return and they were very accommodating with that, which was very kind. To top it all off, Monty has come back super well behaved - it’s amazing! No more jumping and he’s been so relaxed and good as gold which only confirms how well cared he was. We won’t hesitate in leaving him with Caroline again. About: We have a large fenced garden and a cosy home and your dogs will be treated as part of our family during their stay. I understand the importance of routine, especially when dogs are in a new environment, and will ensure they are cared for exactly as you request with plenty of photo updates throughout the stay. I totally understand the desire for your dogs to feel loved and cared for when you are away - rest assured they will be doted on! We have 2 friendly female resident dogs who love having doggy mates, Bonnie (7 yr old cockapoo) and Inka (3 yr old Frenchie), so your dog will have some canine company. I'm currently on maternity leave and have plenty of time to be with your pup and give them lots of attention, cuddles and exercise. My husband works from home 100% of the time, so there will always be company for your dog. I have a secure, large fenced garden with plenty of grass and space for playing. It is clean and hazard free, and easily accessible from the kitchen.

“First time ever leaving our 2 little dogs (normally stay with family ) from the first day of meeting Anne and Chris I felt totally comfortable and at ease they cared and loved our dogs just as if they were their own one of my dogs needs daily eye are and medication they had no problem at all doing this Anne sent me photos and video updates throughout our holiday it made my holiday as I didn’t have to worry at all my dogs were being cared and loved by wonderful people ! I also previously worked as a veterinary nurse for the RSPCA, giving me valuable experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. About: I have a big love for animals and have spare time so want to help others and look after their loved animals and care for them. I look after my friends and families cats and dogs on a regular basis so have experience with different breeds and want to help others have the opportunity to go away on holiday or going to work and relax knowing their baby is getting a home from home experience in a relaxed environment. I work from home most days and if I need to go into the office I have a flexible timetable so would be out the house for no more than 4 hours but also happy to accommodate to your timings of each pet. I am also happy to take them out to places with me if this is something your pet is familiar with. I live in a house with a private fenced/brick wall garden. I have a park next to my house and multiple walks around my area with a mixture of fields, grass and pavement environments. I also have a car so am happy to take out with owners permission I also send photos and updates to the owners to let them know there babies are in safe hands

I have a 12-year-old dog whom I adopted from Japan over eight years ago, and I’ve also spent many years looking after other people’s dogs, whether hosting them in my home, doing drop-in visits, or taking them for walks. My dog has become a bit of a bossy and stubborn old lady, but she gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones. I work as a scientist and have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I can work from home several days a week and adjust my hours when needed. This allows me to check in on your dog, take them for walks during the day, or provide company while you’re away. “I had a last-minute trip abroad and found myself in a bit of a panic about what to do with my 3-month-old Cockapoo, Barry. I started looking into local kennels, but I quickly realized they weren’t the kind of place I wanted for my little guy—cold concrete floors and steel cages, with extra fees for a few minutes of play or attention. That wasn’t the environment I felt comfortable leaving Barry in, so I began searching for a better option. That’s when I found Rover and, more importantly, Charlotte! After messaging her about availability, we arranged to meet, and I couldn’t have been happier. Charlotte was so friendly and bubbly, instantly putting me at ease. She asked all the right questions about Barry—his training, his care needs—and told me about her own experience with dogs. I left feeling completely confident that Barry would be in safe, caring hands. During his stay, Barry not only bonded with Charlotte but also made friends with her Mum, and her dog Luna, who Charlotte had told me about and I agreed to them meeting (and hopefully getting along for play!). They had a blast together—forest walks, playtime, and even a seaside adventure where Barry got to dash around the sand and splash in the waves. Charlotte kept me updated with sweet texts and tons of adorable photos, showing Barry living his best life. Now that Barry has a new buddy in Luna, we’re even planning some future walks together, which I know will be fantastic for Barry and help him stay comfortable with Charlotte for future stays. A huge thank you to Charlotte (and Luna!) for taking such great care of my little buddy. I couldn’t be more grateful!”
