She even took them on extra walks without me asking and stayed longer so they wouldn’t have to spend as much time alone. About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 13 years. This has included walking, drop-ins and dog sitting. I am very passionate in what I do and I treat each dog as individuals, with their own personal needs. My approach and care is tailored to give the best possible experience for both furry friends and their humans. I often send pictures of our walks. Send updates, specially on our adventure walks and keep owners informed on what their pet is doing. I am a believer of ‘always be learning’ and I like to gain new skills, which is why I did a diploma in Animal Care, Dog First Aid and Dog Training. I also have an enhanced DBS check, and I am fully insured. My specialty is individual adventure walks and I like to plan new routes and trails to give my furry companions new experience and plus I give the added bonus of a puppuccino treat when allowed. I am available Monday to Friday from 6am - 6pm, with the exception of 8-9am and 3-4pm. Every setting is different, as each pet will have their own personal needs. I would follow the owner’s instructions and make sure to carry them out to give the best possible care.

Puppies can be quite a handful, but she was patient, kind, and clearly cared for her as if he were her own. “Buddy loves being with Alice when she comes to visit! She takes him on doggy adventures and sends photo updates which is great when I am away with work or on holiday, putting my mind at ease knowing he is in good hands. Alice provides the attention, engagement, and care that he needs without question, and sometimes I think Buddy prefers her to me! (which is as high a compliment you can give as a pet owner). Alice is courteous towards my property and she makes me feel at ease when she is in my home, something I was anxious about when arranging a dog sitter. Very respectful and I trust her with the key safe code which makes the process even easier when I am away with work at short notice. She is great with dogs and genuinely treats them like her own, and it’s lovely that she takes the time to update me via photos. Having Alice look after your pet is like having their best friend over for a play date, and she is genuinely such a lovely person who is always willing to go the extra mile. I recently booked her to stay with Buddy while I was away for a week, and she was even kind enough to put the bins out when she saw the neighbours doing the same. Buddy is an ex-racing Greyhound who has some specific breed traits, and I have complete confidence in Alice walking him on lead with a muzzle, and she takes the time to understand your dog’s temperament. It was amazing how quickly he took to her. Genuinely lovely sitter who clearly adores her time with your pet, and gives everything that human touch so it feels more like a friend coming over than someone providing a service. Talking to her about her own family pets and the variety of animals she has cared for previously is reassuring that I am dealing with somebody who has a genuine love of animals. Highly recommend for visits or stays.”

About: I may not have formal “professional” experience yet, but I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, from pugs to German Shepherds, and have always loved caring for them. I’ve looked after my own two dogs, who are 13 and 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day care, routines and different needs that come with looking after dogs. I’m hoping this is the beginning of a future career working with animals, as my long-term dream is to become fully qualified and eventually have my own doggy daycare. I’m excited to gain more experience, meet lots of lovely dogs and, most importantly, make sure every dog I look after feels happy, safe and well cared for 🐾 I’m currently working full time but work from home Mondays and Fridays.
