“Alma was very easy to communicate with. She went out of her way to meet my dogs before I confirmed the booking. Very trustworthy, I felt very comfortable booking her twice in one go. She kept me updated with pictures and made herself feel at home (as requested).”

“Jacob was absolutely amazing with Millie and Ellie! He was so kind and accommodating—he even picked them up and watched them at his house for the weekend. He took them on long walks, gave them so much love and attention, and kept me updated with messages and pictures the whole time. It was so clear how much he cared about them, and it gave me complete peace of mind while we were away. I couldn’t recommend him more—Millie and Ellie adored him!”

About: I love all animals. I've loved dogs since childhood, starting with our neighbor's giant St. Bernard, who, truthfully, walked me more than I walked her! She taught me the joy of bonding with dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing extra playtime or a senior dog who prefers gentle strolls, I love caring for them, giving them plenty of love and pampering along the way! I am currently working part-time from home so very flexible. I can be there for pets that need house sitting, drop ins or walks. Histon Road Park area would be particularly close. As your pet sitter I will; - Arrange a free Meet & Greet to get to know you and your pet, and get instructions - Take dogs out for a walk and playtime tailored to their preferences - Provide fresh food and water for your pet daily - Clean any bowls, fountains, litter boxes, etc - Offer them play time, cuddles and attention - Share many cute photos, updates, and even arrange video calls with your cutie if you like - I can also water plants and take out garbage - If there is anything on your mind about your pet you can always write to me I offer dog walks and drop-ins to care for pets in their own home but cannot accommodate at my own home at the time. I am also good with rodents, rabbits, reptiles, birds, fish etc. (all animals except tarantulas/spiders 😬)
“Eva is an excellent sitter, friendl, calm and professional, our dog liked her from the first moment! It was reassuring to know that our pet is in very good hands. Highly recommended, would book again. Thank you Eva!”

“This was the second time Francesca looked after our puppy and she has built up a really nice rapport with Olive- lots of nice photos of them going for walks and Olive was so calm around her. Highly recommended!”

“Kayleigh is an amazing dog sitter. She most recently stayed with our dog for 10 days while we were away and did a terrific job. She is very reliable and sweet, and we can really tell how much she genuinely loves spending time with our darling girl. Thank you so much <3!”

About: As someone who has had animals all my life, caring for pets comes naturally to me. Over the years, I have owned and looked after a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and chickens. This lifelong experience has taught me the importance of providing every animal with the care, attention, and routine they need to feel safe and happy. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds. From energetic pupps to senior cats, I appreciate that every animal has its own personality and needs. The only exception is snakes - while I respect them, they are where I draw the line! I am experienced with dogs of all sizes, including large breeds (I myself have a beautiful Great Dane), as well as senior dogs and cats who may require extra patience, gentle handling, or medication. I also understand the importance of following specific dietary requirements and feeding routines to ensure pets stay healthy and comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for your home, I treat it with the same respect and responsibility as I would my own. Whether it's keeping your pets company, maintaining their daily routines, watering plants, collecting mail, or ensuring your property remains secure, you can have peace of mind knowing everything is in capable hands. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care so that both you and your pets can feel relaxed and comfortable while you're away. I look forward to being your pets' new best friend while you are away :) NB: New to this app I'm currently working part-time, remotely as a personal assistant with a flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I am an active person during the day and will gladly take long walks with your pets or play with them around the house and in the garden. During the evenings, I love spending snuggled on the sofa, reading a book or binge watching a new series. Your pets' safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities, as well as the safety of your home. I take the time to understand each pet's routine, personality, dietary requirements, and any medical needs before every sit. I carefully follow all owner instructions and keep emergency contact and veterinary details readily available. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I treat every home with the utmost respect, maintain confidentiality, and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I also ensure your pets' environment remains safe, secure, and stress-free by keeping routines consistent, maintaining clean feeding and living areas, and paying close attention to any changes in behaviour or health. My goal is to provide the same level of care, comfort, and security that I would expect for my own beloved pets.

“Yi-Hao was the absolute dreamiest person to look after griff whilst I was in Cambridge for a gig. Griffy was so happy to hang. Went above and beyond and left our Airbnb in better state than we left it. Would highly recommend !!!”

“Our Puppy Dexter had a lovely time with Ellen today. She is a very friendly and thoughtful person. We hope to use her services in the near future. We came home after getting married and Dexter was so calm, resting in his bed. Thank you so much! We highly recommend Ellens services. 🙏”

“Olivia is an absolute delight! She took such wonder care of my sweet boy. She clearly is very experienced with pets of all kinds! Getting to know her has been such a pleasure. I cannot recommend Olivia enough!!!”

About: I have loved dogs and cats (and all the other animals!) since I was a kid, as I grew up on a small farm. I always enjoyed their company, and they seem to enjoy mine ☺️ I had a black lab called Brian in my adult years and a cat called Simba. My heart broke to pieces twice when I lost them. I have always been actively seeking dog and cat sitting opportunities, especially before and after Brian. My longest dog sitting was nearly 6 months long, and I still go to visit him whenever I can as we have formed a lovely bond. I currently work for a company producing smart devices as well as other products for dogs (soon cats, too!), so I am very familiar with the dog & cat world and their welfare is very important to me (as well as all the other animals!). I work full time in a 9-5 office role, but I am based mostly from home and generally have a good degree of flexibility throughout the week, with the occasional exception when I need to be in the office or attend meetings elsewhere. This means I can usually fit pet care easily around my schedule. For dogs, I can provide walks before work, during my lunch break, and again after work, as well as plenty of companionship throughout the day. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so daily walks and quality time with pets fit naturally into my routine. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed while their owners are away. I usually care for pets in their own home, as I find they are happiest and most comfortable in familiar surroundings. For dogs in particular, this almost always means that I stay in the owner’s home so they can keep their usual routine and enjoy the comforts they are used to. I am happy to discuss having a dog stay in my home if needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always look after both pets and homes with care, respect, and attention to detail.
“Heartfelt thanks to Charlotte for her services this week. We weren’t sure about having someone come and live in our house but we would rather Luna had someone looking after her at home rather than a kennel stay. We contacted Charlotte here on Rover having looked at her reviews and from minute 1 she was clearly caring and paid attention to detail. The House Sitting went so well. We received photos and updates daily while we were away. Luna had more attention and company than she gets while we are at home! I have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte to look after your pet. We will certainly be seeking more of her time. Thanks Charlotte!”

“This was our second time having Maisie take care of our American Shepherd Rocky. He loved seeing her again when she stopped by for the house keys. As usual, Maisie was very communicative while we were away, and kept our home clean and tidy. We couldn’t ask for anything more.”

“Aleksandra has cared for our German Shepard puppy Bruno a number of times now. She is always on time and considerate in my home. She does everything we ask with Bruno which really helps maintain consistancy for him and he loves playing with her. After having a few people watch bruno she is definately my go to person because i Know he will be cared for as if he is hers and i never have to worry. Thank you so much Aleksandra love Rebecca, Connor and Bruno. Xx”

“Lucia did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Mora while I was away. She sent updates twice a day - videos and photos - and made sure to let me know that she had administered the medication my cat needs. Lucia is reliable, professional, and highly communicative. Moreover, she left the flat in very clean condition when I returned. I would absolutely recommend her to others!!”

About: I grew up with a high-energy Border Collie and am still regularly involved in caring for my family’s dog, including long pet-sitting stretches while they’re on holiday. I’m confident managing energetic, intelligent dogs who need plenty of exercise and attention. I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to renting, so I genuinely value dog time. I’m responsible, reliable, love long walks. I work full time Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm. I can dog sit early mornings, evenings and weekends - any time outside of my working hours. I can occasionally start later or and finish earlier depending on the week. I’m unable to host pets in my own home, so care would take place in yours. I’m respectful, tidy and security-conscious, and I can keep you updated so you know your pet and home are in safe hands.
“Tina is brilliant, she was available to cover a last minute request to help whilst away for a family wedding and we couldnt have asked for better. Coco seemed very comfortable with her and she gave us real peace of mind, definitely will be using her services again, thanks Tina !!”

“Sophia is amazing! She watched my two dogs at my home for a week. My dogs are always a bit anxious when I go, but it was clear how comfortable and happy they were with her right away. There were lots of check-ins with photos and walks, and Sophia was very helpful when I had scheduling challenges. I would 100% recommend!”

Kleo provided exceptional care for our dog Jellybean. It was our first time leaving JB with a sitter since rescuing her just a few months ago so, naturally, I was a little nervous. But Kleo came to meet JB twice before we left for our trip, which really helped. She was super communicative the whole time (1 week), sending us photo and video updates and checking in with any questions about JB’s routine. Kleo also took great care of our house. We would 100% leave JB with Kleo again, and would highly recommend her for pet and house sitting!

Our Puppy Dexter had a lovely time with Ellen today. She is a very friendly and thoughtful person. We hope to use her services in the near future. We came home after getting married and Dexter was so calm, resting in his bed. Thank you so much! We highly recommend Ellens services. 🙏

Rocio was amazing with our two dogs. She spent quite a bit of time with them beforehand in a meet and greet so that they were comfortable with her in the house, and quickly built a positive bond with them. Rocio was extremely professional and attentive, and I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to take care of your doggos!

Simply can’t recommend Emma enough! She was absolutely incredible with my nervous pup, who warmed up to her really quickly. We met for a few play dates prior to the house sitting, and it was clear Emma knew how to be around and support anxious dogs. I could tell my dog felt safe and relaxed with her ❤️ She also sent me regular photos of him while I was away and kept me updated on how the little chap was doing. She was incredibly respectful of our home, as well! So grateful we found her!

Lynn was a lifesaver for my partner and I. We were looking for a qualified sitter, and on a bit of a time crunch, and she more than delivered. Our girls absolutely loved her, and she did an amazing job at making them comfortable. The daily updates and photos of them were so nice. We will most certainly be booking with Lynn again if she has future availability. Cannot recommend enough!

Sophia is amazing! She watched my two dogs at my home for a week. My dogs are always a bit anxious when I go, but it was clear how comfortable and happy they were with her right away. There were lots of check-ins with photos and walks, and Sophia was very helpful when I had scheduling challenges. I would 100% recommend!

This was our second time having Maisie take care of our American Shepherd Rocky. He loved seeing her again when she stopped by for the house keys. As usual, Maisie was very communicative while we were away, and kept our home clean and tidy. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

Berkant was absolutely phenomenal taking care of J while we were out of town. Before the booking, he came by to introduce himself and took J on a walk, then returned the day before to go over J’s routine and take him on a longer walk. During the stay, he visited four times a day and walked J for 30 minutes to an hour each time. He sent photos, videos, and updates after every visit, which gave us complete peace of mind. I cannot recommend Berkant enough and will definitely be booking with him again.
