About: I have shared care for two of the loveliest pugs for several years, and have looked after friend's and family's pets for many years. I have looked after pugs, labradoodles, and cocker spaniels. I am a part-time PhD student so can be very flexible with schedule and needs of the pet. I have a car and a bike so can easily get to and from homes when needed. I am a warm, caring person who loves to play with and have cuddles with animals. I can feed, walk, give medication, and clean up after animals.

About: I have years of experience raising and caring for Labrador Retrievers, Teddy Poodles and Corgis. I’m familiar with the different temperaments, activity levels and feeding habits of these breeds. I know how to handle energetic large dogs like Labradors, manage the high energy of small Teddy dogs, and meet the special exercise needs of short-legged Corgis. I’m patient with puppies and can comfortably look after multiple dogs from different families at the same time, providing gentle, tailored care for every pup. During summer vacation, I have plenty of free time every single day of the week to fully look after your pets. I can stick to a steady routine of walking, playing and feeding dogs without time limits, and I’m available for boarding all day every day throughout the holiday. I have a spacious fully fenced private garden where dogs can run, explore and play freely to stay happy and energetic. I have raised Labradors, Teddy Poodles and Corgis before, so I’m experienced caring for all dog sizes and young puppies safely at home.
About: I’ve looked after my friends’ pets when they’ve been away for extended periods of time. I am happy to do a range of jobs to ensure they feel safe and happy. Im currently finished with school as I have moved from New Zealand to the UK. I won’t go to University till September so I will be free most days to take care of your pets. I am able to be a calm presence in the house and will be able to take care of them if they start feeling scared or uncomfortable.
“Olivia has looked after my very young Cockapoo puppy twice now. She came to meet us before she started her visits and us a warm. Kind and relaxed, animal lover with good knowledge and experience of caring for dogs. She is punctual and sends detail updates and photos during her stay. She has my full confidence.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 3 years, starting with my own pup and extending to friends, and family pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to older companions who just want gentle walks and cuddles. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love, and I always do my best to make them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet company, I enjoy giving pets the care and attention they need. My schedule is flexible, and I can usually adjust to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, I’ll do my best to be available when your pup needs me. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I follow instructions closely, from feeding routines to leash rules, and I never take risks with a dog’s well-being. Walks are always on secure leashes, doors and gates are double-checked, and I keep a close eye on pets at all times. I believe that being strict about safety is the best way to build trust—so you can feel confident that your pup is in caring, reliable hands.
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and my parents have a collective 6 dogs that I have lots of experience tending to. I have experience working at a dog boarding business that typically has around 8-10 dogs at any given time. I helped with the dogs and the boarding business when I was living back in California and I still do whenever I go home. Because of this I have dealt with many types of dogs. I have taken care of puppies and administered medication for aging or sick dogs. The dog boarding business I have experience with has a gated property in the woods and do not kennel their dogs so I am used to having dogs around and in the house constantly and dealing with the needs of many dogs at the same time. I have done a lot of housesitting. This includes two families whose whose farms I used to housesit for for up to three weeks at a time. They both had cats, a large dog, chickens, a garden, and an orchard. One also had horses and the other had goats. Because of this I am very comfortable taking care of large properties and dealing with farm animals. I am also comfortable managing dogs around farm animals. I have also cat sat for 2 weeks for a family with two cats (one of whom was elderly and needed medication and lots of attention). I work remotely so I can work from your home and watch your animal during the day I currently work from home full time and have a fairly flexible schedule so I can come take care of your pet all day while I work. I am able to provide them with as much care as they need during the day while I work. I am organised and very good at following the instructions you set out for the care of your pet. I am not able to watch pets in my own home due to a no pets contract but I can come and upkeep your home for you while watching your pet I am an expedited house sitter and can make sure your house is given just as much care as your animal. I have experience watching large properties and a large number of animals and following strict instructions for the upkeep of both.

About: Ive always had a dog and I am also loved by cats, I love giving them attention and like it too. You're leaving your baby in safe hands coz when Im with pets they become my world. I feel I understand animals well, even though they can’t communicate in the same way we do—perhaps it’s my biologist’s instinct. I truly enjoy spending time with them and would be delighted to care for your beloved pets. As a PhD student, I have a self-managed schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to pet care. I also see this as more than just a side role—it’s something that brings me joy and a sense of calm, almost like therapy, while ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and well looked after. As I have lived in the past in an area where wildlife is common, I always took extra precautions to keep pets safe, including ensuring they remain indoors after 6 PM, even for short strolls. I also carefully check the environment to remove any sharp or hazardous objects. Most importantly, I pay close attention to their behavior and cues, making sure they feel heard, understood, and comfortable at all times.
“Jennifer was amazing with my three dogs! She really paid attention to all the little details and took great care of each of them based on their needs. She made me feel completely at ease and confident that they were in great hands.”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was about 2 years old and I’ve had pets at home since I was 8 (cats and dogs). 🥰 My family even adopted a stray dog when living abroad (in India ) and trained her from scratch. It was a lengthy but very rewarding process. It taught me a lot about dog psychology and training. We often used to foster dogs before they went into their forever families or did dog sitting for dogs to stay at our house overnight. I really love all animals, I am very patient with pets and very attentive to their needs. I am a full-time MPhil student but I am very happy to take care of your pets (for doggy walks, drop in visits and house sitting) whenever I am free. I am usually available during the evenings and on week ends ☺️ I can completely understand how daunting it might be to leave your pet at home while you are away. I will always try my best to make your pet as comfortable and happy as possible 💕 I listen to their special needs, whether they require special exercises to remain occupied or frequent belly rubs! 😻 Please let me know about your pet’s routines and I will adapt accordingly :)
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for five years, driven by my love for animals. My special skill is senior care, gained through volunteering at a senior care home. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and attentiveness, especially in caring for senior or special needs pets. As a PhD student, I have a pretty flexible schedule, especially on weekends. I'm really active and love running, so fitting in walks or playtime with pets is something I enjoy. Caring for pets is a great way for me to take a break from my studies, and it fits perfectly into my routine. When pets stay with me, I focus on making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I make my place pet-friendly by removing anything that could be a hazard and setting up cozy spots for them to chill. I keep a close eye on them to ensure they’re relaxed and happy. I stick to their usual routines and make sure they have plenty of playtime and affection. Whether it’s having their food and water ready or giving them a quiet place to rest, I do my best to make sure every pet feels at home and loved.

“Annabel was a super cat sittter. I came home to a completely chilled happy cat. And Annabel sent videos/photos throughout so i knew my cat was ok. She was super when she came for pre-sit visit too. Very friendly and pleasant”

“Pauline is an absolute sweetheart and did so well with our cranky old man! He took to her super quickly and she was great at giving him his meds. I think he might like her more than he likes us! 😂”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life—having had my own since I was just one year old—so caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve also regularly looked after dogs for family and friends, gaining experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I offer reliable and caring dog walking and sitting services, making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well looked after. Whether it’s a fun walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently work part-time as a nanny three days a week, which gives me a flexible routine and the ability to check in on pets throughout the day. My split schedule allows me to offer reliable visits for feeding, walks, and companionship, ensuring your pets are well cared for even when you’re busy or away. I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs and provide consistent, dependable care you can trust. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure they have plenty of attention, companionship, and care while you’re away, always keeping their environment clean, calm, and familiar. I also respect your home, ensuring everything is left tidy and secure after each visit. My goal is to make your pet feel happy and stress-free, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in safe and caring hands.
About: I grew up surrounded by pets: 1 dog (a goldie), 3 cats, 2 hamsters, 2 birds. And all this in a city flat. So I know what it needs to make things run smoothly: frequent, early and late dog walks, feeding schedule, cleaning, etc. I took care of different types of dogs from small to large, old to young: poodles, airdale terrier, Foxterrier, English setter, mixed breed. My parner‘s family‘s dogs (goldie, English setter, mixed breed) were very old and we sitted them for several days. I am a PhD student and can work from home - or anyone else’s home as long as I have WiFi. All I need is to know briefly in advance. My meetings tend to not go longer than 2 h. I have experience with many different types of dogs and can adapt to the dog’s personality. If the dog is young and active, I can go for long walks, play fetch, etc. if the dog is older I’m happy to go for short walks. I am very diligent so would follow owner instructions most accurately.

Cambridge dog owners share their Rover experiences
Pauline was absolutely amazing with my dad's dog tyson. She done a weekend for us while my dad was in hospital and tyson had the best time! She sent photos and videos over after each visit which was lovely. Highly recommend Pauline, we will definitely be using her again! Thankyou

Railey and Tom are lovely people . My pet babies had a wonderful time and would wait by the door for them . Alphey slept quite good in the night after the walks. It’s quite difficult to leave pets and houses to strangers in charge while you are away . But they absolutely rocked ✨ would recommend them 💯.
Beatriz and her partner took amazing care of my pooch during a drop in visit while I was out all day. They followed all the instructions I left and made sure that he ate and toileted before they left him. He was a very happy boy when I got home, thank you so much. Would definitely recommend!

It was great having Maisie walk the dogs this week. She arrived on time and was ready for a walk with a lively cocker spaniel! We had done a meet and greet the week before so they were both very happy to go with her. I had complete confidence that she could manage an older dog and a younger livelier one and I'll definitely be using Maisie again
