I regularly care for my neighbour’s dog and have experience with dog sitting and dog walking, ensuring pets receive plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship while their owners are away. About: I’ve been a devoted pet parent for many years. My cat is 6 years old and my dog is 5 years old, and caring for them has taught me how important it is to understand each pet’s unique personality, emotions, and needs. My cat is a sensitive rescue who had an eye infection when I first adopted him. Helping him recover taught me patience and the importance of respecting a pet’s boundaries and earning their trust. My dog once became unusually quiet and uncomfortable, and I quickly realised something wasn’t right. I took her to the vet, where she was diagnosed with pyometra and received treatment in time. I understand that pets can’t tell us when they’re uncomfortable, so careful observation and quick action are essential. At the moment, my cat and dog live with my former partner in my home country, and I’m not yet in a position to bring them to live with me. I miss caring for them every day, which is one of the reasons I joined Rover. I would love to share the same patience, attention, and affection with other people’s beloved pets and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m self-employed and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I currently offer dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship services in Cambridge. To ensure I can give your pet the attention they deserve, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible. This also gives us enough time to discuss your pet’s routine and specific needs before the visit. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I've spent a lot of my life living with dogs, looking after other people's pets, and walking and sitting dogs of all shapes and sizes. I fully understand what a big deal it is to trust a stranger with your dog. If you’d like to chat on the phone or speak to people for whom I have previously dog-sat/-walked please just ask. I usually work from home. I therefore have lots of flexibility to look after your four-legged friend and head out for walks as they need. About: I grew up surrounded by pets: 1 dog (a goldie), 3 cats, 2 hamsters, 2 birds. And all this in a city flat. So I know what it needs to make things run smoothly: frequent, early and late dog walks, feeding schedule, cleaning, etc. I took care of different types of dogs from small to large, old to young: poodles, airdale terrier, Foxterrier, English setter, mixed breed. My parner‘s family‘s dogs (goldie, English setter, mixed breed) were very old and we sitted them for several days. I am a PhD student and can work from home - or anyone else’s home as long as I have WiFi. All I need is to know briefly in advance. My meetings tend to not go longer than 2 h. I have experience with many different types of dogs and can adapt to the dog’s personality. If the dog is young and active, I can go for long walks, play fetch, etc. if the dog is older I’m happy to go for short walks. I am very diligent so would follow owner instructions most accurately.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats at my parents home. My very own first pet as a teenager was a mixed breed black Pomeranian and I had a cat too. In later life my husband and I had a pure breed White German shepherd for 5 years or so and we then started a family and later had two moggies. We still have one and she’s over 19 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and cats 😍 I’m free during the day, seven days a week. But I do work in the evenings from 6 to 11pm or so six days a week from Tuesday through to Sunday. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by all sorts of animals my whole life, I’ve dealt with specifically training troubled dogs and ill dogs, I am able to administer medication in a swift and efficient manner I am currently an arts student and I am able to work, Monday and Tuesday after 4pm , Wednesday after 12:30, thursday from 9AM till 3:00 and again 6:00 onwards, with Friday saturdays and Sundays being available for full day work and attention to your pets I am very attentive and quite swift so I am able to keep an eye on your pets, I have lots of energy as well so I am able to keep up with more hyperactive dogs and keep them stimulated

About: I’ve been around animals since I was about 2 years old and I’ve had pets at home since I was 8 (cats and dogs). 🥰 My family even adopted a stray dog when living abroad (in India ) and trained her from scratch. It was a lengthy but very rewarding process. It taught me a lot about dog psychology and training. We often used to foster dogs before they went into their forever families or did dog sitting for dogs to stay at our house overnight. I really love all animals, I am very patient with pets and very attentive to their needs. I am a full-time MPhil student but I am very happy to take care of your pets (for doggy walks, drop in visits and house sitting) whenever I am free.
