“Larissa is a lovely young woman who made fast friends with my cat, Flash. She followed my instructions to the letter, including sending us adorable photos and videos on a regular basis. We came back home to find a calm, happy, well-feed kitty. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Chantell went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to my cat. She not only kept Flash well fed and watered, but also spend time playing with her and cuddling, and even spent extra time with her once after she had thrown up. Chantell sent very thorough and much appreciated write-ups of Flash's activities, as well as some adorable pictures. She was also quick to respond whenever I had a question. I felt 100% comfortable about having my cat in Chantell's loving care. When I came home, I could see that my cat was happy and calm. I can't recommend Chantell highly enough.”

About: I've taken care of dogs over the past 10 years. As a vet student I have always had a fondness for animals from taking neighbours and friends pets for walks, to caring for my own dogs, hamsters and fish. I am competent in walking, bathing and feeding as well as playing with others pets. I have volunteered at both kennels and animal rescue centres developing animal handling skills as I go!!! I'm currently studying Veterinary Medicine as a student at the University of Cambridge. Therefore, I have a fair amount of flexibility on times I would be available to pet-sit. Apart from regularly scheduled classes, I have few commitments that would disrupt bookings. I am located in Eddington, Cambridge. I can easily travel to houses for either sitting or regular walking. Unfortunately I cannot care for dogs at my own address due to Accomodation restrictions although, I am very happy to travel to care for your animals During university holidays I am located in North East Hertfordshire and I’m happy to take bookings here as well.
About: Hello I love to pet sit and house sit, I am based Cambridge, UK I have pet sit here as well as in Canada where I used to work. I've pet sit and worked in a family cattery in Dry Drayton, Cambridgshire, boarding kennel for 7 years at my aunts cattery business. I love to take care of your animals, dog walk, cuddly with cats and dogs and spend time together with them. I am a primary school teacher who is supply teaching part time this year. I'm working as an elementary school supply teacher and love to dog and cat sit on holidays and the weekends, I absolutely love spening time with pets, cuddles, food routines and walks! I can stay in homes and take care of pet routines, walks, cuddles and care. I pay great attention to instructions left for feeding routines and medicine if needed. I have lots of practice giving daily injections for diabetic or sick cats as well. I have lots of experience with dog walking and with safety procedures when out with a dog on leash.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 3 years, starting with my own pup and extending to friends, and family pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to older companions who just want gentle walks and cuddles. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love, and I always do my best to make them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet company, I enjoy giving pets the care and attention they need. My schedule is flexible, and I can usually adjust to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, I’ll do my best to be available when your pup needs me. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I follow instructions closely, from feeding routines to leash rules, and I never take risks with a dog’s well-being. Walks are always on secure leashes, doors and gates are double-checked, and I keep a close eye on pets at all times. I believe that being strict about safety is the best way to build trust—so you can feel confident that your pup is in caring, reliable hands.

About: I live in central Cambridge close to midsummer common with my rescue dog, Casper. Casper gets on just fine with other dogs but is nervous around humans. Because I have experience with a scared rescue, I can offer a lot of security that is otherwise challenging. My garden okie fully enclosed and high-fenced, and a double-door system is in place for safety (one door shuts before the other opens). Dogs typically have free access between inside and outside all day whilst the weather is warmer. Weekend activities would typically include a long walk down the river or the Magog Hills, followed by a relaxing afternoon and an evening stroll. We are very much used to dogs having run of the house, so rest-assured your furry friends can make themselves as much at home as they would like. Please do feel free to pack your pet’s favourite toys, bed or blanket. We can provide water bowls. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
About: I helped look after my partners Cocker Spaniel. This included long walks in the Lake District as well as cleaning him up after he had been for a swim. Towards the end he wasn't able to walk very far so I would carry him around so he could still enjoy watching the ducks. I grew up in Cyprus and owned cats throughout my years there. At one point we had 7 cats in the house! I found a poorly kitten and helped him back to health by taking him in, feeding him and cleaning him up. He became one of our own! I am excited to be able to spend time with animals and help out where I can. I am a personal trainer and have a fairly flexible schedule. Some times I have big gaps between clients where I would love to help out with some walks or feeding. Unfortunately I am not allowed to have pets in my home. However, if I was looking after animals in someones home I would make sure I am aware of feeding and exercise schedules as well as health/bathroom needs of the animal. I would also enquire about any rules the owner may have. If the animal is very social I would make sure they get plenty of attention! However, if they're timid I would give them space and keep them calm.
About: I am a proud owner of an English Pointer energetic enough to run around the world! This experience has taught me how to care for large dogs (30kg +) and the exercise and mental stimulation required for high energy dogs. From a child, I grew up looking after my grandparents 6 Springer Spaniels (YES, all 6 of them!!) which taught me the skills to look after multiple dogs (3/4) at the same time and how to deal with the challenges associated with this. Additionally, frequently looking after friends and family dogs over 15 years has exposed me to a wide range of dog breeds, big, small, energetic and docile. To list a few.... Labrador, Cocker Spaniel, Bull Dog, Labradoodle, Maltese, Vizsla, Border Collie, and many more!!! My day usually starts early (around 7 am) which means I'm available for morning walks. I'm a PhD student at the University of Cambridge so available all year round and have a fairly flexible schedule so can pop over during lunch to take care of your dog if needed. Additionally, am available after work and anytime on the weekend so I am flexible to work around you! I currently live in student accommodation so I am unable to house pets, however I am more than happy to come to your home for sitting! As a proud owner of a large gun dog (English Pointer) I am well experienced in how much exercise is required to keep large dogs entertained! I love to go for long walks in the beautiful Cambridge countryside and stroll through the fields. I am happy to Taylor each day to your dogs personality and needs weather thats playing tug of war, a long game of fetch or just attention and cuddles. If you need any more information don't hesitate to reach out! I am confident looking after all dog breeds, sizes and personalities with my priority to always make your dog feel comfortable and cared for.
About: I have cared for dogs, cats, horses and all sorts of pets most of my teenage and adult life. I’m comfortable administering medication and providing careful senior care, as well as hitting the park with your dog for many many ball throws. My partner has owned dogs for 8 years and is dog crazy, they seem to love him too! We both work hybrid, and are happy to care for your pet during day, evening, overnight and weekends. We can visit locally by foot and with car. We have a quiet flat overlooking midsummer common, so have a wonderful huge green space right outside our window for endless ball throwing, sniffing, and bounding around.
About: After having grown up with animals all my life, i’ve always had that special bond with them. Hoping to continue my love and admiration by sharing that and caring for them in hopes to make their place in this world even more appreciated! I currently work part time with flexible hours so I have lots of time to fit in walks, drop in visits and availability to housesit. I can cater to all needs your furry friend might have and can adapt to how they might differ. I can be calm and collected for your more nervous pets whilst also being able to play and keep up with your high energy ones!
About: Hello! My Martyna and if I had to choose the biggest love of my life, I'd choose dogs (choice not easy - have a boyfriend who is a good cook!). I am a scientist working for the University of Cambridge, which means I am pretty flexible when it comes to hours of dogsitting/dog walkies and can help you out pretty much at any time of the day. I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life (at family home, mostly dachshunds, newfoundlands, rottweillers and terriers - yes, we have a huge yard and yes, my parents are also dog-obsessed); in fact, I am a proud owner of Pancho, the friendliest mix of border collie and terrier any dog (or human) has ever met. Because of Pancho, I have recent first-hand experience with puppyhood and training, but I am able to care for dogs at all of the stages of life. I work from home everyday. I have a dog myself, for whom I provide play and walks multiple times a day. If your dog likes other dogs companionship, great - I can introduce him to Pancho and we can all have great time together. If they are more of an introvert/prefer human companionship, I am very happy to provide them with separate walks and playtime. I have three medium-sized gardens around my property, where the dogs can play and relax during the day. Depending on the weather, I can provide longer outside walks throughout the day, or only at specific times (for example, with the heatwave, I would stay in the garden and play with the dog here, with constant access to shade and fresh water, as well as possibility to go home and rest in coolness when that's preferred; I do that with my dog Pancho, where I take him out for long walks in the early morning, and evening).
About: I’ve been the owner of two large rescue dogs in the past and have volunteered in a rescue shelter in Thailand looking after 17 dogs with varying needs. I am very confident in looking after shy, timid pets and am happy to help with any obedience training if wanted. I have a large house with a garden with lots of space for a pet to roam! I have experience in looking after puppies and senior dogs. I can play frisbee, football, tennis etc with the energetic dogs or a calm, slow walk for the oldies! Experienced with sighthounds. I am currently generally based at home throughout the day and evenings, but will occasionally need to pop in and out. I can work around the schedule of the dog so that they can keep their routine. I can offer whatever pet service the owner is after in the style they want….. lots of attention given or minimising the attention given to the dog/s if in training
“We were gone for a week and Janhavi took good care of our two cats during our trip, including taking out the bin and bringing it back. While she did come every day, she forgot to check in and check out for every visit.”

“Olivia has looked after my very young Cockapoo puppy twice now. She came to meet us before she started her visits and us a warm. Kind and relaxed, animal lover with good knowledge and experience of caring for dogs. She is punctual and sends detail updates and photos during her stay. She has my full confidence.”

Cambridge dog owners share their Rover experiences
Railey and Tom are lovely people . My pet babies had a wonderful time and would wait by the door for them . Alphey slept quite good in the night after the walks. It’s quite difficult to leave pets and houses to strangers in charge while you are away . But they absolutely rocked ✨ would recommend them 💯.
Beatriz and her partner took amazing care of my pooch during a drop in visit while I was out all day. They followed all the instructions I left and made sure that he ate and toileted before they left him. He was a very happy boy when I got home, thank you so much. Would definitely recommend!
It was great having Maisie walk the dogs this week. She arrived on time and was ready for a walk with a lively cocker spaniel! We had done a meet and greet the week before so they were both very happy to go with her. I had complete confidence that she could manage an older dog and a younger livelier one and I'll definitely be using Maisie again
Katherine ensured our dog Pippa had the very best care during her drops ins! Pippa instantly loved her, despite often being shy with new people. Katherine was amazing at leaving notes and photos for us to see what Pippa had been up to, and really went above and beyond to care for her, following her post-op care brilliantly. We’ll definitely be rebooking as soon as we need further help! Thank you so much! ⭐️💗
