I’m detail-oriented with feeding schedules, medication routine, and exercise needs. You can count on me for regular picture updates and exceptional care every step of the way! I am available for early morning walks to get your dog energised for the day, as well as weekdays after 4:00 PM for late afternoon walks, dinner feeds, and evening care. On weekends, my schedule is much more flexible, offering plenty of dedicated time for longer walks, playtime, and extended pet sitting sessions. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. I strictly follow all feeding, exercise, and routine instructions provided by pet parents. I maintain a secure, pet-friendly environment, keep dogs safely on-lead during walks, and provide clear communication alongside frequent photo updates so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. About: I’ve had dogs since I’m 7 years old, friends and family relied on me to care about their dogs and give them the love and care they need to. I’m currently studying Accounting and Finance at ARU and I work in a part time job as cleaner at ARM research, most weekends I’m free so I could help. “This is the first time we have used a sitter for our four cats 3 of which are over 15 years old. Alison came for a meet and greet before the booking, and our cats took to Alison right away (which is unusual for a couple of them). We booked Alison to come 3 times while we were away we also had a cat cam to keep an eye on them as well, just in case Alison had not seen them. One of our cats was sick, we messaged Alison to go and check the cats and asked her to clean it up as with the heat it would not have waited until her next visit. Alison went in and clean it up for us - nothing has been too much for her she has a lovely personality and all of our cats really took to her. We defiantly will be using Alison again - would have given her 10 stars - would highly recommend Alison”

I have a driving license of 2 years with a car, I am happy to take them to many different places for walks. I am happy to take your dog(s) to a fully enclosed dog field with obstacle courses and a splash pool if they can swim. They will be dried off before bringing them back into your home.

About: I have been caring for pets for 20+ years, including my own dog and looking after neighbours' and friends' dogs. I have experience with various breeds such as Chow Chows, Labradors, Jack Russell Terriers, Border Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzu mixes, and Romanian rescues. I have trained my own puppy and am comfortable administering medication. I can handle multiple pets and have dealt with challenging behaviours, including helping my reactive rescue dog overcome her fears. While I don't have specific experience with special needs pets, my adaptability as a teacher allows me to provide excellent care. I can provide references from previous pet owners I have cared for. I have recently returned to work as a full-time teacher at a school in Girton. Therefore, I will not be at home during the day. However, I am still offering sitting services in the evenings and on weekends. Additionally, if you are comfortable with it, I am happy to have your pet stay at my house during the day. During the school holidays I will be able to stay at yours or have your pet at mine, where I will be at home during the day. During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I also finish at 4pm so I also have time after work during the week. My weekends are quite free so I’d be more than happy to help out then, too! Additionally, I am more than happy to look after your furry friends during the school holidays. I ensure that the home is pet-proofed and secure, minimising any potential hazards. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!

About: I have had a wonderful Yorkshire Terrier for the past 10 years, I grew up with him and often looked after him while my parents were away. I also started walking the dogs of neighbours and family friends around the same time. I love dogs and enjoy spending time with them so dog walking and dog sitting was a natural choice for part time work whenever I was back at home from university. I have now finished my degree and have a lot more free time to spend with furry friends! I am currently available all day until the end of August, I start work again at the start of September and will usually finish around 3pm, so evenings are doable. I am very flexible regarding hours. My garden is fenced and my dog is not currently living with me (he is at my parents), so I have a very safe and secure environment. There are some great parks in my area for walking as well as a spacious interior that stays cool in the summer for your dog to relax in.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 15 years old and before that was walking dogs for friends, neighbours and family. I have been on Rover for over a year now and have looked after some wonderful dogs! I have my own dog now, my gorgeous cockapoo Posie! If booking for doggy daycare please be advised your dog will have to be friendly with other dogs as Posie will be here too 😊 I am available for pet sitting and walking over the weekends and can help out with toilet breaks during the day on these days, I can sometimes do week days but my schedule changes each week. I can do early morning or evening walks on week days. I will work around your schedule in your home and follow your lead to ensure your pets get consistency with me. We can make a plan together to make sure they feel safe and loved in my care!

About: I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and have availability to work from home if your pets need someone that is around more! I work in the Chesterton area, and am able to do walks early morning and later afternoon! I unfortunately cannot board your pets at my home. However, I will ensure they stay safe and loved under my care, regular walks, and lots of cuddles!

About: I started my own little petsitting business from the age of 10, when I walked dogs and looked after a large range of smaller pets in Cambridge. I have experience of injecting insulin in pets and im happy to learn other medical needs. I have a cat of my own who's previously lived with a dog, and I also have pet rats. Im currently working a 0 hour contract at a school, while caring for my parents. Therefor I'm more available in school holiday times and weekends. Some weekdays I have online appointments, so I can easily fit that around petsitting :) I can care for pets in thier own houses over the holidays, or I can care at my house for shorter periods. I have an enclosed gravel back garden and a grassy front garden. My house os a short walk from the park or the community centre, so I can easily take a dog out.

The one who leaves unnecessarily detailed instructions, checks their phone for updates and wants to know whether everyone has eaten, had a wee and is generally living their best life 😂 So when I’m looking after someone else’s animals, I treat them exactly how I’d want mine treated. Whether you’ve got a dog who wants to walk for miles, one who would rather spend the afternoon snoozing, a nervous little soul who needs some patience, or a cat who will spend the first three visits judging me from across the room, I’m happy to work at their pace. I can help with dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, cuddles, keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I know even small things like feeding times, favourite toys and the usual walking route can make a big difference when their owner isn’t there. You’ll also get updates from me because I know what it’s like being on the other side wondering whether your pet is okay. Expect photos, little updates and probably a running commentary of what they’ve been up to. If your dog has done something ridiculous, you will absolutely be hearing about it 😂 Having my own pets means I know they aren’t “just animals”. They’re part of the family, and trusting somebody with them (and often trusting that person in your home too) is a big deal. I’d always want you to feel completely comfortable with me before leaving your pets in my care. I looked after many pets on Rover when we lived in the USA and now I am starting again in England. I have a Boston Terrier called Poppy who I take out 2 times a day for walks already and who would love to make new friends and play. I grew up with dogs as a child in Sri Lanka, previously having a Dachshund and a Dalmatian. I like to train my puppy to sit, stay and come and to keep her clean with a bath once a week. My husband is also a dog lover who has had a Golden Retriever and a Jack Russel in the past and who will add extra love and car to your pet care experience!
