About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our home was never without one, from a bouncy Poodle to a loyal German Shepherd, a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog, and a spirited Airedale Terrier. Each one left a paw print on my heart. Over my years in Cambridge, I've built up experience in dog walking and sitting, and have a particular soft spot for both puppies and senior dogs, I love them at every stage of life. I woke up around 8am and I have a big garden where the cat/dog can be. I mostly work from home so the cat/dog can be by my side most of the day. If it is a dog, I am happy to take him/her for walks 3 times per day, as it is also good for my mental health. If they are well behaved they can even go to the office with me, if needed, as my office is pet friendly. I like to give lots of love to animals and I am very playful. As I have an ensuite room they can sleep with me and can have always water in a ball for them and fresh food in the kitchen. The house is very big so they have space for playing and relax. We also have a big and sunny fenced garden

About: I've grown up with dogs and been around dogs for almost all of my life. Until recently owned a 12 year old cocker spaniel called Tigger. I'm a keen Cani Cross Runner and Tigger was a great running dog, he absolute loved it, so I'm trying to help more dogs be active. A healthy active dog is a dog that will have a longer healthy life and a lot of dogs don't get the exercise they need. No toys, food or treats are left down when I have client's dogs in the house to avoid any tension between animals in the house. I have no problem in giving your dogs daily medication should they need it. I do not let client's dogs off the lead until I have met them a few times and only with owners permission.

We find Claire & Ross to be terrific hosts! Claire is soft & calm & Ross is jolly & commanding and very chilled, a great combination for looking after a lively anxious young dog. Ross took Frank on long walks along with his own dog & Frank had the run of the house which helped to make him feel and at home, so much better than kennels. They were very very kind and patient with BaoBao. BaoBao had diarrhea that day, and after I asked for their advice, they still offered to take care of my dog for a day. About: I go for a 1-1.5hr walk every day and thought it would be nice to have a walking companion that also allows the dogs to get out and enjoy the fresh air. I have grown up around dogs. When I was a baby, our family had a springer spaniel that was with us for 13 years. After that, we adopted a Weimaraner (Murphy) who was a loving part of our family for a long time. Murphy was a dog with some behavioural issues which gave me an education in dealing with dogs of different temperaments - and sizes! I now live on my own and while work doesn’t enable me to properly look after my own dog, I saw this app as an opportunity to still be able to be around them. I have also looked after friends dogs in the past with breeds ranging from Malinois and German Shepherds to Rottweilers and English Bulldogs. Currently self-employed before moving back home to Bermuda at the end of this year. My average day involves waking up, going to the gym, cooking lunch, doing some work at my computer for a couple hours, before going for a 1-1.5hr walk/jog every day. I would be more than capable of looking after a dog between 12 and 5 every day, including taking your dog along for the walk/jog. I currently live in a house-share and while I wouldn’t be able to look after your pet overnight in my own home. I would be capable of looking after them in your home. I believe in leaving things how I find them and would be happy to also assist with minor tasks around the house. For example, unloading a dishwasher, hanging clothes to dry, dusting or vacuuming. I like to stay active and would enjoy playing fetch, tug of war, or any activity with any pet, as long as they were up for it!

About: I have always had dogs in the family growing up. When I was a toddler and small child, my family had Mutley, a rescue spaniel, who was also known as Houdini! Following his passing, we had a small terrier, Alfie, who lived until he was 18! Then, at the turn of 2020, I rescued two Greek street dogs, Buddy and Bea, with my sister - they’re now 5 years old. Buddy and Bea often spend time with my parents who have vowed they don’t want another dog.. but love Buds & Bea! We had Alfie from a puppy and I was involved with his training with my father. Buddy and Bea were about 6 months old when they made their way to the UK. With my sister, I trained them at home in the garden - this was both toilet training and tricks! I work full time but predominantly from home, going into the office once or twice a week depending on what I have on. This means I have lots of time at home with the dogs and can take them out morning, lunch and noon. Generally, I play netball on a Saturday and Sunday but this only requires me to be out of the house for a few hours. So, those who have an animal staying with us, they must be ok being left alone for a couple of hours at a time. I have a totally enclosed and fenced garden with no escape route! This was essential as Bea often likes to find a way out! Whilst looking after your fur baby, I’d have Buddy and Bea stay with my parents so that your pet has my sole attention and focus. We have space to bring a crate if that’s preferred and we can discuss any sleeping arrangements which work for your little one.

My name is Aurora, and I live in South Cambridge CB22 since July 2024 before I was in Essex between Braintree and Colchester where I was pet sitter in a few homes and still am when they go on holidays. 30+ living with dogs and cats and other animals. I have always loved pets, since I am a kid I've had different sort of dog breeds at home (cross breeds, labradors, mastiff, pitbull terrier...) small rodents like, jerbos, guinea pigs, rabbits... I've had birds, turtles and cats. 12+ since I became a pet sitter between Spain and the Uk I used to take care of other people and families pets when they used to go away, and I was living back in Spain. Now here in the UK, I keep doing the same as in taking care of people's pets while they are away or need help as daily, taking them out for a walk, coming and feed them, pet them, playtime, keep them company with lot of cuddles and love. I will always update you with photos & videos of your furry friend, photography is another passion I have so they will get 1000 of them! I do work in the mornings but I do work from home 3 days a week and sometimes 4 so in the case of staying over I can combine both jobs and over the weekend if needed. I'm flexible with the days I work from home. If you need me to check on your pet during the mornings/afternoons when I am home I can do 1pm-2pm, and then fully availability after 4pm. I do take care for pets at their owners house, currently i don't own a place and lot allowed to bring pets home, so I do go to the owners place to take them out or staying over if they need me to :) I know some dogs are good off the leash, but I prefer to stablish first bond and good relationship with them before letting them off the their leash, this is for safety as dogs sometimes behave differently with other people until they stablish a relationship with the pet sitter and before this they can be unpredictable.
About: I have 20 years experience of walking and caring for dogs and am looking for more doggy friends to join me and my dog Betsy on our twice daily walks! I am experienced with a variety of ages, sizes and needs and have yet to find a dog I haven't loved! I am available for twice daily walks most days of the week and the weekend accompanying me and my dog Betsy, who is well socialised with a vast variety of dogs. Please note I am unable to walk giant or large breeds who pull strongly. Walks will be designed with each individual dogs needs in mind and thoroughly discussed with the owner. About: Having grown up with dogs and small animals, I am very capable of caring for them and dealing with complex behaviours. When I started dog sitting in my teens I was looking after friends and family’s pets. Since then I have accrued a great deal of experience working with new people and their pets. I am very adaptable! As a recent university graduate I am currently working as a barista during my gap year. I regularly have free evenings and with enough notice I can be available for an entire weekend/weekday day. I am anticipating a lot of availability from July onwards this summer. For more independent pets, I am able to visit between shifts and stay overnight and require minimal advanced notice. I am a very vigilant person so I am always hyper-aware of your pet’s wellbeing and whereabouts. My experience with dogs has lead me to develop fast reaction times to situations such as a dog eating something that’s not allowed.
About: I started my own little petsitting business from the age of 10, when I walked dogs and looked after a large range of smaller pets in Cambridge. I have experience of injecting insulin in pets and im happy to learn other medical needs. I have a cat of my own who's previously lived with a dog, and I also have pet rats. About: I love to be around animals and attentively bond with them. I always make sure their needs are met and they are happy. When I take dogs out for walks I try to go to different places to keep thfm stimulated. I’m very physically for so I’m happy to be out on longer walks if needed or preferred. I work from home on a part time basis so pet care can fit around my schedule. I wouldn’t have any reason to leave a pet alone while in my care. I often offer dog boarding services. My home is modern with a large spacious garden that is contained and hazard-free. I often leave the back door open so dogs can come in and out as they please. When I have pets overnight, I am flexible about where they can sleep depending on what they are used to at home.

During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I also finish at 4pm so I also have time after work during the week. My weekends are quite free so I’d be more than happy to help out then, too! Additionally, I am more than happy to look after your furry friends during the school holidays. I ensure that the home is pet-proofed and secure, minimising any potential hazards. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!
About: I am a new graduate vet who studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge University hence have had a significant amount of practice dealing and caring for our furry friends. I also owned a large breed dog (great dane) for 11 years so have had good practice in handling larger breeds. My course allows me to judge animal behaviour more accurately so I can tell how comfortable your pet is in my presence and adapt accordingly. I am also confident handling cats. My household is smoke free, I have a large breed dog so only board dogs friendly with other dogs, but ideally prefer to house sit :)) . I live near numerous parks and a meadow so there's plenty of space for your pooches to explore on their walks! Looking forward to meeting your lovely pets! I do not work Tuesdays or weekends. The remainder of time I offer to take your pet to work with my where they will get ample cuddles from myself and all the lovely nurses! About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our home was never without one, from a bouncy Poodle to a loyal German Shepherd, a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog, and a spirited Airedale Terrier. Each one left a paw print on my heart. Over my years in Cambridge, I've built up experience in dog walking and sitting, and have a particular soft spot for both puppies and senior dogs, I love them at every stage of life. I woke up around 8am and I have a big garden where the cat/dog can be. I mostly work from home so the cat/dog can be by my side most of the day. If it is a dog, I am happy to take him/her for walks 3 times per day, as it is also good for my mental health. If they are well behaved they can even go to the office with me, if needed, as my office is pet friendly. I like to give lots of love to animals and I am very playful. As I have an ensuite room they can sleep with me and can have always water in a ball for them and fresh food in the kitchen. The house is very big so they have space for playing and relax. We also have a big and sunny fenced garden

They were very welcoming when I dropped Otto and Henry off and I left feeling happy and confident that they would be well looked after. Their house is lovely with planty of space for the dogs and a great garden. Carmen snet me losts of videos and photos over the weekend showing Otto and Henry having a great time in the garden and on walks. I could tell when I picked them up theat they'd been well looked after and had got on well with the other dogs.
