“It was lovely to have a friendly face turn up to walk Teddy, and he really enjoyed his walks with Eli. Teds came back happy, and snoozed all afternoon. Her communication was fast, and she was flexible with her time when a last minute appointment came up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eli and will happily book her again!! Thank you xxx”

About: We have both grown up with various pets in our lives of all shapes and sizes from hamsters and guinea pigs to cats and dogs. We regularly help out our parents with their 5 big rescue dogs of all different ages and personalities. We are very comfortable with walking, feeding and bathing all breeds of cats and dogs. My husband David and I both work remotely with flexible hours, so between us we are available any time 7 days a week to look after your furry friends. We will adhere to any safety rules you have in your home as this is our main priority. Please advise on special dietary/feeding requirements when making contact.
About: My family and I have fostered 10 dogs over the last 6 years. We have had dogs of all ages, sizes and difficulties. This has given me love for, and confidence around any and all types of dogs I am currently staying in Bournemouth for the summer after the past year at university. This means I am available during the week and weekends at all times of the day I am a safety conscious person and will do everything possible to provide the best care and environment for your dog and your home so you can feel comfortable and secure with your pet in my care
About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and I am hoping to work with animals as a full time job in the future. I am currently in university studying Veterinary Physiotherapy and I recently completed my level 3 Animal Management qualification at college. Due to my university schedule, I am only available during the holidays (Christmas, Easter and summer). I have previous work experience at the RSPCA looking after a range of dog breeds, including larger breeds like Huskies and Cane Corsos as well as small breeds like Chihuahuas and Terriers. During this experience, I have helped to walk dogs, clean out kennels, feed and play with dogs. I have also gained experience working with cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals at the RSPCA. I currently have a dog, who is a springer spaniel x poodle called Doodle, and a cat, called Pancake. I spend much of my free time taking Doodle on walks and playing and cuddling with her and Pancake whenever they want to. I have also on many occasions looked after pets of friends and family, including labradors, spaniels, jack russells, beagles, cats and rabbits. I am currently in university so I am only able to do pet sitting during the holidays. I am available around Christmas (19th Dec-10th Jan), Easter (20th Mar-4th Apr) and over the summer (10th May-Sept). The safety of your pets will always be my number one priority and I will ensure that I keep an eye on them so that they are safe and happy. I will listen to, follow and respect any rules or boundaries that you have when looking after your pets to keep both you and your pets happy and comfortable.

About: Are you looking for someone caring and reliable to take care/look after of your furry friend while you are on holidays, at work or simply you need an extra hand or walk in the evening and don't have the time? My name is Aurora, and I live in South Cambridge CB22 since July 2024 before I was in Essex between Braintree and Colchester where I was pet sitter in a few homes and still am when they go on holidays. 30+ living with dogs and cats and other animals. I have always loved pets, since I am a kid I've had different sort of dog breeds at home (cross breeds, labradors, mastiff, pitbull terrier...) small rodents like, jerbos, guinea pigs, rabbits... I've had birds, turtles and cats. 12+ since I became a pet sitter between Spain and the Uk I used to take care of other people and families pets when they used to go away, and I was living back in Spain. Now here in the UK, I keep doing the same as in taking care of people's pets while they are away or need help as daily, taking them out for a walk, coming and feed them, pet them, playtime, keep them company with lot of cuddles and love. I will always update you with photos & videos of your furry friend, photography is another passion I have so they will get 1000 of them! I do work in the mornings but I do work from home 3 days a week and sometimes 4 so in the case of staying over I can combine both jobs and over the weekend if needed. I'm flexible with the days I work from home. If you need me to check on your pet during the mornings/afternoons when I am home I can do 1pm-2pm, and then fully availability after 4pm. And when I am the the office once or twice a week I can do dog walking, or come to visit if you are away from 5:30-6pm For availability please do message me with the days, times and care you need :) If you would like more information about this services and rates please do send me a message or let meet and greet! I do take care for pets at their owners house, currently i don't own a place and lot allowed to bring pets home, so I do go to the owners place to take them out or staying over if they need me to :) I know some dogs are good off the leash, but I prefer to stablish first bond and good relationship with them before letting them off the their leash, this is for safety as dogs sometimes behave differently with other people until they stablish a relationship with the pet sitter and before this they can be unpredictable.
About: I have always had dogs in the family growing up. When I was a toddler and small child, my family had Mutley, a rescue spaniel, who was also known as Houdini! Following his passing, we had a small terrier, Alfie, who lived until he was 18! Then, at the turn of 2020, I rescued two Greek street dogs, Buddy and Bea, with my sister - they’re now 5 years old. Buddy and Bea often spend time with my parents who have vowed they don’t want another dog.. but love Buds & Bea! We had Alfie from a puppy and I was involved with his training with my father. Buddy and Bea were about 6 months old when they made their way to the UK. With my sister, I trained them at home in the garden - this was both toilet training and tricks! I work full time but predominantly from home, going into the office once or twice a week depending on what I have on. This means I have lots of time at home with the dogs and can take them out morning, lunch and noon. Generally, I play netball on a Saturday and Sunday but this only requires me to be out of the house for a few hours. So, those who have an animal staying with us, they must be ok being left alone for a couple of hours at a time. I have a totally enclosed and fenced garden with no escape route! This was essential as Bea often likes to find a way out! Whilst looking after your fur baby, I’d have Buddy and Bea stay with my parents so that your pet has my sole attention and focus. We have space to bring a crate if that’s preferred and we can discuss any sleeping arrangements which work for your little one.

About: What sets me apart is my flexibility and genuine love for animals. I work from home, so I can provide care throughout the day, including for pets that need extra attention or companionship. I'm also able to drive, making it easy for me to travel to your home. I've cared for pets with separation anxiety, high-energy dogs that need long walks, and pets that require more frequent care and supervision. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Working from home allows me to provide flexible, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs multiple walks, regular playtime, companionship, or extra supervision, I can easily adapt to their routine. I understand that some pets experience separation anxiety, so I'm happy to spend extra time with them to help them feel calm, safe, and comfortable while you're away. Every pet receives plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. While I'm unable to host pets in my own home because I have a cat, I'm happy to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Staying in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and keeps your pet in their usual routine. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks (if needed), and lots of love while you're away.

I have experience of injecting insulin in pets and im happy to learn other medical needs. I have a cat of my own who's previously lived with a dog, and I also have pet rats. Im currently working a 0 hour contract at a school, while caring for my parents. Therefor I'm more available in school holiday times and weekends. Some weekdays I have online appointments, so I can easily fit that around petsitting :) I can care for pets in thier own houses over the holidays, or I can care at my house for shorter periods. I have an enclosed gravel back garden and a grassy front garden. My house os a short walk from the park or the community centre, so I can easily take a dog out.
“Brendan was great with Arnie, took him for a lovely long walk and shared some lovely pictures and videos. He managed to let him off lead as well and really wore him out! Brendan was also able to help out really last minute and super flexible 😊”

About: I’ve cared for animals for over 25 years, from tiny hamsters and ferrets to confident cats and sensitive dogs. I understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences, and pace, and I adapt my care to match. I’m especially good with shy animals, neurodivergent households, and pets who need a calm, gentle presence. I never rush visits, and I pay close attention to routines, body language, and comfort levels. I have experience with puppies, seniors, nervous rescues, cats who prefer minimal interaction, and high-energy breeds who need stimulation and structure. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every home and every pet with the same care I give my own. My goal is simple: for you to feel fully at ease, and for your pet to feel safe, understood, and cared for. Animals shape the rhythm of my days. I work from home and keep a very grounded, predictable routine, so it’s easy for me to fit in regular walks, drop-ins, enrichment sessions, and feeding times. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s woven into how I live. When I care for your pets, I always prioritise safety, comfort, and low-stress routines so they feel secure while you’re away. Animals thrive in familiar environments, so all care takes place in your home, following their normal daily rhythm. What I do during each visit • Follow your exact feeding schedule and dietary instructions • Refresh water so it’s always clean • Clean litter trays, food areas, or small-pet spaces • Provide playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or quiet companionship, whatever your pet prefers • Respect boundaries for shy or anxious animals • Basic home checks (lights, curtains, post, bins, doors and windows locked) • Administer medication if needed • Keep everything clean, tidy, and exactly how I found it Your pet’s routine continues smoothly, helping to reduce stress and keep them happy. Communication & Peace of Mind After each visit, you receive: • Photos or videos • A written update • Notes on food, water, litter, behaviour and mood You’ll always know how your pet is doing. My Approach I care for animals with: • gentleness • patience • observation • calm handling • respect for each pet’s personality With many years of caring for my own animals (including cats, dogs and small pets) I understand how to create a safe, reassuring environment where pets feel loved and supported while you’re away.

“Kristine has been very helpful whilst I’ve been away in New York and my partner is handling things in the UK. She kindly met us for a meet and greet and then was very responsive to my partner messaging and gave our dog, Darcy, lots of attention and a good walk. Thank you!”

About: I have been caring for pets for 20+ years, including my own dog and looking after neighbours' and friends' dogs. I have experience with various breeds such as Chow Chows, Labradors, Jack Russell Terriers, Border Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzu mixes, and Romanian rescues. I have trained my own puppy and am comfortable administering medication. I can handle multiple pets and have dealt with challenging behaviours, including helping my reactive rescue dog overcome her fears. While I don't have specific experience with special needs pets, my adaptability as a teacher allows me to provide excellent care. I can provide references from previous pet owners I have cared for. I have recently returned to work as a full-time teacher at a school in Girton. Therefore, I will not be at home during the day. However, I am still offering sitting services in the evenings and on weekends. Additionally, if you are comfortable with it, I am happy to have your pet stay at my house during the day. During the school holidays I will be able to stay at yours or have your pet at mine, where I will be at home during the day. During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I also finish at 4pm so I also have time after work during the week. My weekends are quite free so I’d be more than happy to help out then, too! Additionally, I am more than happy to look after your furry friends during the school holidays. I ensure that the home is pet-proofed and secure, minimising any potential hazards. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!

“This was my first time using William to walk my dog Betty and I was very happy with the experience. He arrived early, was friendly and professional, and immediately put both Betty and me at ease. Betty can be a little hesitant with new people, but she seemed very comfortable with William. He took her on an hour-long walk and it was clear she enjoyed herself. I’ve already booked him for another walk and some overnight stays. Would recommend!”

Fern did a brilliant job walking Suki this week. It was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t have had a better experience ☺️ Suki is a very bouncy lady with a high prey drive, she comes with some challenges when walking. Fern did a great job keeping her under control!
