About: Hi, I'm Lisa, an experienced pet care professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary nurse, dog groomer, and pet nurse. I've dedicated my life to caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, always treating them as part of my family. With my extensive background in animal health and grooming, you can trust that your pet will receive expert attention and plenty of love. I'm a friendly and caring person, passionate about ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for in my home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am recently relocated to Peterborough so have availability Monday to Friday during working hours 8am-7pm. I am available for housing sitting evenings and weekends. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise their safety, comfort, and routine. I ensure their environment remains familiar and stress-free, following any specific instructions you provide for feeding, exercise, or special care. I create a trusting bond by spending quality time with your pet, offering them plenty of attention, play, and affection. If your cat enjoys being outdoors, I will ensure they do so safely. My goal is to maintain a calm, secure atmosphere so your pet feels comfortable and cared for, just as they would with you. When caring for dogs in their home, I am flexible and attentive to their individual needs. If your dog is used to being crated, I will ensure they are safe and comfortable, following their usual schedule. For dogs that enjoy walks, I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and outdoor time, always keeping them secure on a leash. If your dog requires a muzzle, I will handle this with care and patience, ensuring they feel calm and comfortable throughout. My goal is to maintain your dog’s routine, while providing the same level of love and care they receive from you.

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal lover with 30 years of experience with my pets. I had a Rottweiler dog, many cats, birds and tortoises. I currently own 2 young cats. I used to volunteer at the Blue Cross in Cambridge where I used to look after abandoned and ill cats. I also volunteered for the RSPCA for many years. I provide safe, nurturing care for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, tortoises and small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters. I work full-time and work from home. I am free every day during lunch time or after 4pm. Weekends I am free any time. Christmas time I am not available. I am friendly and trustworthy, putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. I am a punctual person which is essential when pets have their food habits or need to go out for a walk. Every visit I send pictures, video and updates. I don’t simply feed your pet and clean their litter tray, I also give my 100% love and positive energy. I can also give medication if necessary.

About: My family have always had dogs and I used to walk my neighbours huskies after school as a teenager, I also often take my two aunts and uncles dogs for walks. Our family dog unfortunately passed last year so any time walking other dogs is always nice. I’m currently working part time on a rotating shift pattern so please feel free to message and see if I am available when is best for you. I unfortunately won’t be able to house any dogs as I’ve recently moved back in with my parents. But am more than happy to take any dogs on short, medium or long walks as needed.

About: I genuinely love dogs and treat every pup like family—because that’s exactly how I treat my own Cavapoo. He’s like my child, and I bring that same level of care, attention, and love to every dog I look after. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in good hands. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing a gentler touch, I tailor my care to their unique needs. I also have experience with basic training, administering medication, and creating a calm, loving environment for every kind of personality. You can count on me to keep your dog safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I currently have a part-time job at the University of Cambridge, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week and full availability on weekends. I make time every day for walks, play, and quality time with my own Cavapoo, so caring for other pets is a natural and enjoyable part of my routine. I'm committed to making sure each dog feels loved, safe, and well cared for—whether it's a quick drop-in or an overnight stay. Right now, I offer dog walking and in-home sitting, so all care takes place in the dog’s familiar environment or while out on safe, fun walks. When staying in a pet owner’s home, I treat their space with the utmost respect and follow all care instructions closely—from feeding and routines to playtime and cuddles. I always prioritize each dog’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being, making sure they feel secure and loved while you're away. On walks, I stick to safe routes, keep dogs leashed, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings.

About: I have always lived with pets and now own a 2 year old chocolate Labrador called Olive. Olive is the gentlest and most sociable of dogs and I believe most of this is imprinted from how I have brought her up. I am used to taking dogs for walks following routines for feeding, play and bedtime and due to Olives age particularly skilled now I’m looking after puppies as well as dogs which are older or more senior. I work full time from home so always available to look after dogs within the home 24/7. Dogs have access to the house and garden via kitchen and Patio doors. I have a fenced large grassed and paved garden, have an existing 2 year old chocolate Labrador and would crate the dogs with their blankets/ beds at bed time only. I work from home so would be available to care for dogs and follow routine throughout the day.

Sara came in and walked Nell for us yesterday. This is our first experience of Rover.com and it has been thoroughly positive. Sara was very responsive and positive to messages. Once she came to meet us and I saw how Nell responded to her, I had no concerns and felt very confident with the arrangement. Sara did everything she said she would, including sending happy pictures of Nell on her walk. I will be delighted to ask Sara to help again.

I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Lisa provides for my dog, Charlie, every week. Charlie is a giant breed who can be reactive around other dogs, but Lisa’s empathy, knowledge, and calm presence have been invaluable in making him feel secure and well-cared for. She has a remarkable ability to reassure him when he’s anxious and is more than capable of managing his strength, which gives me real peace of mind. Every week, Lisa not only ensures he gets a good walk but also checks his water and gives him the attention he loves while I’m at work. I’m so grateful to have found someone who truly understands his needs and makes his wellbeing a priority!

1 repeat pet owner

About: I have looked after dogs since I was a child with my family and we often house sit for friends and extended family. I was relied on to walk, feed, bathe, play and take care of their dogs while away. I mostly work from home and am readily available, so I am free to look after your dog anytime and day and ensure that they are well taken care of. I have a large fenced garden with ample space to play and mainly work from home so am available all day to tender to your dogs needs of doing their business, country walks in the fields and of course play time! I currently work from home so am available all day to look after your pup/s, let them play inside/ outside or even a quick lunchtime walk. I live in a family environment so there will be a few of us to keep your dog company throughout his/ her stay. That being said, I will be the primary carer.
