We are so lucky we found Ayesha! From the minute Cosmo met her he gravitated to her and absolutely loves her pup too. We tried a play date today and it is clear that Cosmo is very happy there. We’ve already booked him in for a longer staycation. Thanks for looking after Cosmo so well

I had a great experience with Carla and Jim! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. From the start, they were incredibly friendly and approachable, which immediately put me at ease. They arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which was a really thoughtful touch and helped both me and my dog feel comfortable before the stay as it was my first time using Rover. During the time they were looking after my dog, they provided regular updates and photos, which was so reassuring and showed how well my dog was being cared for. It was clear that my dog was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. I really appreciated the level of care and communication throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Carla and Jim again and would definitely recommend them to other dog owners looking for someone trustworthy and kind to look after their pet! Thank you!

About: I am a dog mum working from home most of the time so my pup Albus is always with me. He is a very friendly, loving and energetic boy who loves a play so we will enjoy having a friend over. He also likes a good snooze during the day. I have a pretty stable schedule, pups will be walked a minimum of twice a day, and can accommodate any special feeding schedules. Working full time from home most times it means I am always at home for breaks, walks and supervised play. Please note I teach fitness classes every Wednesday from 6pm-9 pm so if ok with being on their own, they will be walked/fed before I leave around 4.30pm. I live in my own home and there is plenty of space in my fenced garden for dogs to play. It's a very quiet environment. And if your dog is used to a crate I can ensure he is comfortable downstairs.

About: I’ve always adored dogs and had multiple in my childhood. I currently have one dog, Toby. He’s a very cheeky Yorkie who loves playing ball and needs attention. My dream is to quit my full time corporate job and open up a doggy daycare. Most of my family and friends have dogs and we love socialising together and looking after eachothers dogs when needed. I want to help you to take away the pressure and make sure your furry companion is well looked after. Every dog needs that little bit of extra care which is so important for their well being. So whether it’s a walk, a belly rub or a fetch play session I’m here. As I work from home I have full flexibility to assist your needs and make sure that your companion can have adequate toilet breaks and a friend whilst you’re not there. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!☺️ I work from home, so pet care is super easy as I don’t have commute commitments. Having a dog myself I always make sure to have time for multiple daily walks and playtime. I have a 5ft fenced garden with enough space to play and go out for a wee if needed. We have multiple nice walking paths around the area to excercise the dogs and frequently go to country parks for longer adventures.

About: I have always lived with pets and now own a 2 year old chocolate Labrador called Olive. Olive is the gentlest and most sociable of dogs and I believe most of this is imprinted from how I have brought her up. I am used to taking dogs for walks following routines for feeding, play and bedtime and due to Olives age particularly skilled now I’m looking after puppies as well as dogs which are older or more senior. I work full time from home so always available to look after dogs within the home 24/7. Dogs have access to the house and garden via kitchen and Patio doors. I have a fenced large grassed and paved garden, have an existing 2 year old chocolate Labrador and would crate the dogs with their blankets/ beds at bed time only. I work from home so would be available to care for dogs and follow routine throughout the day.

Effy has an amazing time ever week and although I was nervous about leaving her, that has completely disappeared now! Effy will be visiting weekly for the foreseeable future. She is looked after so well, I am kept up to date with pictures and I know she is cared for as well as she could be at home. So glad I found Eszter she is fantastic!

My dog settled in well at Victoria's and got on very well with her dog Caesar. Victoria and her partner also took Simba out to the pub which was nice as he loves going to the pub. Victoria also updated me with many pictures all throughout the day and messages which was very nice. Simba had a fun day and I will most definitely be using Victoria again for future dog sitting 😊

About: Myself and my husband are experienced dog owners, and have been around dogs our whole lives. We are happy to consider any dog breed and can handle large or small dogs. We had an Alaskan Malamute weighing 48kgs in her prime, sadly we lost her in August at 14 years old, so no trouble handling big and stubborn breeds! We do have a 14 year old cockerpoo called Alfie who is very tolerant and misses his companion - therefore dogs coming to us must be okay with other dogs. He is neutered. We have a loving family home with husband and wife team and grown up children who are always happy to play with dogs walk, entertain, exercise etc (children are 16, 19, 22 and are dog lovers like us!) We have a large enclosed garden for dogs to roam around in and are a cat free home. Boarding and doggy day care welcome, we often go to the seaside too, so if you pooch likes the beach they'd be welcome to come with us if they can travel in the car okay. Happy to answer any questions, or set up a meet and greet with your furbaby. I work part time 3 days a week and my husband works from home full time, so there is always someone around to keep you dog company and give them the love and care they need. Evenings and weekends we have 3 grown up children that are dog lovers like us, and are more than happy to help keep your dog entertained (children are 22, 19, 16 so not little kids). We have a large secure fenced garden for dogs to roam around in as they please. There is always someone at home. We have a 14 year old cockerpoo who misses his companion who we lost this year. He is a gentlemen. Happy to crate if needed, though we do not have a crate at the moment so this will need to be provided.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Fenland

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Fenland on Rover is £34.5 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 528 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Fenland. About 87% of Fenland sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Fenland commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
