“Alicja was wonderful, Binx was comfortable with her from the initial meet up. She gave detailed reports every day so I always knew that Binx was happy and well looked after. I will definitely be contacting Alicja next time I need to go away.”

“I would highly recommend Claire, she has a really lovely energy and is brilliant at making pet friends. My little cat is pretty cautious and takes a while to warm up to people. Not so with Claire, who seems to understand the best way to approach her and they were all good almost straight away. Really good care and lots of updates provided. 5 star care!”

“Thank goodness for Imogen! Beany is happy and has even eaten her dinner for once!! Thank you so much for your personalised and kindness to our girl. She's looking forward to the next time.”

“Charmaine has been helpful. She enjoyed her time with my puppy and I came home knowing Scott was having a good time and was safe too. She let me what went on. She gave me details and she understood the details of what needed to be done for Scott.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, i have grown up with them from a young girl and enjoyed every aspect of what they bring to life. The playing, walks, even conversation’s. Any dog I look after I build a friendship with. I am familiar with training techniques and tools but ideally aim for a dog to have the best time. I have a home where I can offer your pet a good sized garden with plenty of toys, a home where they are free to roam and treat it like their own. I currently work from home so I have time to look after my own Labrador and would to help people look after there’s too. I understand all to well how difficult it can be to balance work, life, pets, children etc. even if you just fancy a day out with you’re dog being looked after. I walk my labrador 3 times a day and we take many different scenic walks, or sometimes a play in the garden and a run. I have a good sized garden, which backs on to fields and surrounding by walls. I am in a quiet location where you can be assured they will be relaxed. I am able to crate/seperate some dogs if necessary. I can also travel to the owners home for drop ins, walks, plays or just some company
About: I have had pets since I was a young child. Very happy for long walks, feeding, toileting and cleaning up after also very happy to have some fun playtime in the garden. I currently do not work and have two children who are at school and nursery so hoping to help your furry friends around my young family. When caring for someone’s pet, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being by closely following the owner's instructions and routines. I take the time to understand the pet’s specific needs, such as dietary requirements, exercise routines, medical needs, and behavioral preferences. I ensure they are always in a secure environment, whether indoors or outdoors, and I remain attentive to any changes in behavior or health that may require attention. I communicate regularly with the owner to provide updates and reassurance, and I am always open to feedback or additional requests. My goal is to create a seamless, stress-free experience for both the pet and their owner, offering peace of mind through responsible and compassionate care.

About: I was raised in a farm back in my home country where i had many animals to look after. Dogs and cats were pets we always had and I have experience looking after them from a young age. Now I’m 22, I have a cat and a collie dog in my family :) We got the collie as a puppy and as a family we trained him to behave well, to this day he learns new tricks and leaves us surprised with his cleverness. I also volunteer at a dog shelter nearby where i get to play with and walk different dogs each time. I have a remote travel business that i work on from home, and i work part time between 5-9pm Monday to friday. I an available most of the day and after work too :) I live in a flat on the second floor. In my home we have a cat who loves to explore our garden and climb sheds. Our family dog who’s a collie, visits us weekly as he lives with my older sister in a town nearby. In the pet owners house, i will ensure all pets feel as comfortable as always
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with cats and now have two very different dogs of my own. Lando, a stubborn but lovable Rottweiler, and Rolo, an anxious little dachshund with a big heart. I trained both of them myself and often get compliments on how well behaved they are. Rolo’s journey especially has taught me so much we’ve worked hard to build his confidence and help him feel safe, and the progress we’ve made is something I’m really proud of. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m patient, calm, and tuned in to their individual needs. Whether they’re shy, reactive, energetic, or just need a little extra love. While I’m new to pet sitting and dog walking professionally, I bring real life experience, a deep love for animals, and a commitment to treating your pets like family. Belly rubs and treats are always included! Right now, I’m not working a traditional job, which means I have the time, flexibility, and energy to focus fully on pet care. My days already revolve around walks, playtime, training sessions, and snuggles with my two dogs, Lando and Rolo. I’m used to managing different needs and routines, and I genuinely enjoy giving animals the attention and care they deserve. While I don’t offer care in my own home, I take caring for pets in their own space seriously it’s where they feel safest and most comfortable. I always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding routines, medications, walk schedules, or just how your pet likes to be greeted. I take the time to earn their trust, keep things calm and positive, and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and play (or quiet time if that’s what they prefer). I treat every pet like they’re my own!
“First time we have used the Rover app for looking after our two cats and couldn’t recommend Oscar enough. Loved getting photos while we were away. I think Theo was gutted when we got home!”

About: I am currently looking after a dog for a friend on a weekly basis, often going to the park, looking after him overnight, and sometimes day trips. I have raised my family dog since he was a puppy, so am fully aware of what that entails. When I go back home, I walk and take care of him. I live with my boyfriend who has had cats in the past, so I am used to having them in the house and how to take care of them. With this, I have lots of experience of walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping pets happy! I'm currently working from home full-time, so can look after pets at any time! My hours are also very flexible so I'm able to go for walks during my working day. I live in a flat, with a secure back garden that is fenced in. The front door to the flat block is always kept locked. I am happy to do whatever is needed to keep your pet safe and happy!
“Irina was very helpful and cooperative and took good care of our furry boys while we were away. She was responsive to messages and easy to communicate with, and everything was handled as arranged. We appreciate her support and thank her for looking after them.”

“Lucy is a lovely dog sitter who looked after my dog so well. He was very happy when I came home and it was really nice to receive the pictures of my dog throughout the day and know that he was happy/safe. I will not hesitate on using Lucy again.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life as my mother used to breed as I got older I used to help her. I have always owned a dog since the age of 13 and I am very confident around big dogs as well as being comfortable looking after puppies. I have experience with my own dogs in their senior years, administering medicine and also have trained my own puppies. I have children who go to school so am free most days to sit, check in or walk your dog/pets. I am available at the weekends but this may not be until after lunchtime. I can care for your pets in your home or take dogs out for walks. I do have my own dog and cat and am not currently offering to look after your pets at my own home at the moment, if this is something you are interested in I would first need to get to know your dog.
About: Growing up with dogs was always great company but as I begin to travel it required much attention. The pet humans make me smile and give my care. I am interesting in weekend jobs to keep me busy and active while doing something I enjoy. Giving me a break from my normal routine allowing me to help others during their busy schedules. I am the famous aunt for dogs I enjoy spoiling them, taking them on walks and giving the dog attention required to feel loved and number one. Each dog will receive 3 walks daily, 30 minute per walk. Play time twice a day 1hr per play time. Snack time and tv time so please tell me their favorite show.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Fenland pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fenland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
