Wonderful experience with Emma. She is so kind and patient. I have a new rescue that is very afraid and she warmed up to Emma- which was a huge hurdle in her healing dogggie journey. Thank you Emma for your love of dogs and your kindness to animals. Even the difficult rescue pups. Sharon J

About: Hi I’m Hannah👋 I have extensive experience with dogs. I previously owned my gorgeous staffy Charlie who I sadly lost last December. He was my absolute world and I would love another dog in time when I am ready, but in the meantime I would love to help and look after other people pets! I have experience mostly with medium to large dogs including staffies, golden retrievers, XL bully’s, hounds and more! I am an animal lover and I will treat your dog like my own, making sure they are happy and comfortable, and I love dog cuddles! Happy for you to message with any questions. I WFH and have a very flexible job which is why I am able to offer pet sitting, drop ins and walks. I work full time but work from home 9 days a fortnight (only in the office one day a fortnight). My employer is extremely flexible which means I can ensure your pets needs are fully met. I do not currently have a dog of my own, which is why I have joined rover as I can offer my love and care to other peoples dogs! I do not have children and I am happy to do longer stays in your home in time if you are staying away. I would rather pet sit at your home as I feel this may be more relaxing for your pet, however I would be open to them staying at my home after a visit if this is what you prefer. When house sitting, I provide attentive, personalised pet care that ensure your dog feels happy and comfortable. I am a very clean and neat person (I used to do cleaning as a second job) so will leave your house just as clean and tidy as you left it!

About: I’ve grown up with pets and, as an adult, my home has always been filled with dogs. Caring for them has never felt like a task ... it’s simply part of everyday life for me. Alongside this, I’ve spent many years working as a teacher, which has shaped a calm, patient, and consistent approach to care. I’m used to maintaining routines, reading behaviour carefully, and creating environments where others feel safe, settled, and supported ... skills that translate naturally to looking after dogs in my home. I offer calm, attentive care in a relaxed home environment, treating every dog as an individual and settling them in at their own pace. My approach is gentle, patient, and routine-focused, which helps dogs feel comfortable while you're away. I currently share a home with our 2-year-old dog, Lula, who is friendly, and used to welcoming other dogs into the house. I only host a small number of dogs at a time so each one gets plenty of attention, supervision, and quiet space when needed. I’m home for much of the day and have a flexible schedule, which means dogs are rarely left alone and routines can be maintained consistently. My availability is increasing, allowing me to offer attentive, reliable care throughout the week. My home offers a safe and calm environment, with a fully fenced garden for outdoor time and play. I'm also just steps away from peaceful walking paths and local parks, allowing for relaxed, regular walks without the need for busy roads or travel.

About: I have had dogs my entire life as my mother used to breed as I got older I used to help her. I have always owned a dog since the age of 13 and I am very confident around big dogs as well as being comfortable looking after puppies. I have experience with my own dogs in their senior years, administering medicine and also have trained my own puppies. I have children who go to school so am free most days to sit, check in or walk your dog/pets. I am available at the weekends but this may not be until after lunchtime. I can care for your pets in your home or take dogs out for walks. I do have my own dog and cat and am not currently offering to look after your pets at my own home at the moment, if this is something you are interested in I would first need to get to know your dog.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 15 years old and before that was walking dogs for friends, neighbours and family. I have been on Rover for over a year now and have looked after some wonderful dogs! I have my own dog now, my gorgeous cockapoo Posie! If booking for doggy daycare please be advised your dog will have to be friendly with other dogs as Posie will be here too 😊 I am available for pet sitting and walking over the weekends and can help out with toilet breaks during the day on these days, I can sometimes do week days but my schedule changes each week. I can do early morning or evening walks on week days. I will work around your schedule in your home and follow your lead to ensure your pets get consistency with me. We can make a plan together to make sure they feel safe and loved in my care!

About: We are owners of 11 year old little Yorkshire terrier and 2 year old Bichon Frise. Dogs in our family were always treated as official parts of our family and always spoiled to the moon and back. We've have had and older German shepherd but unfortunately had to put him down because of his sickness, that caused a big hole in our hearts. Our little Yorkshire is a friendly, polite doggy with a little body but massive heart ❤ and little Bichon is treating him as an older brother If anything is unclear or you want to ask something, just send us a message. I’ll be glad to answer and assist you whenever needed. 😊

About: With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs—both my own and those of friends and family—our home is more than just dog-friendly… it’s dog-focused. From puppy zoomies to senior snuggles, we’ve seen (and loved) it all. We share our home with two well-behaved, dog-loving pugs, Reggie and Rocco, who absolutely adore having their pooch pals over. Whether it’s playing, cuddling, or just hanging out, they’re the perfect hosts for your furry friend. Our spacious, loving home offers plenty of room to roam, play, and relax, along with a secure, fully fenced garden with fresh grass and plenty of exciting sniffs. It’s a safe and stimulating haven for your dog to enjoy. As someone who works from home, I’m always on hand to provide constant companionship, care, and of course—belly rubs on demand! Whether your dog prefers cuddles on the couch or chasing tails in the garden, they’ll be treated like one of the family. Because here, it’s not just dog boarding—it’s a 5-paw experience. 🐾✨ Pet care is a natural and seamless part of my daily routine. Since I work from home full-time, I’m always present to provide consistent, around-the-clock care, attention, and companionship. My day is structured to ensure plenty of time for feeding, play, outdoor breaks, and cuddles throughout the day. Whether caring for pets in my home or in their own familiar surroundings, I provide the same level of love, attention, and personalized care. In my home, pets become part of our family. They enjoy a spacious, secure environment with a fully enclosed garden, constant companionship (as I work from home), and the company of my two friendly pugs, Reggie and Rocco. I follow each dog’s routine closely—mealtimes, walks, medications, and preferences—so they feel right at home. In the owner’s home, I take a respectful and responsible approach, ensuring pets remain comfortable in their own space with minimal disruption to their routine. I maintain a clean, calm, and caring environment, keeping to feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, and any special care instructions provided. I treat each home with the utmost care and every pet as if they were my own. No matter the setting, I aim to provide pets with a safe, loving experience—and give owners total peace of mind.

Emma was an outstanding pet sitter! She was always on time, respectful of my home, and took excellent care of my pet. She followed every instruction carefully, paid attention to the details, and also used great judgment when making decisions on her own. My pet was comfortable with her from the start, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely book her again and recommend her without hesitation!

Gvantsa was absolutely amazing and really went above and beyond to look after our fur babies. She was very reliable and easy to communicate. It was our first time leaving home for an extended period and we felt relieved about the level of care our cats received and would definitely rebook with her again

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Huntingdonshire pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Huntingdonshire choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
