About: I’ve grown up with pets and, as an adult, my home has always been filled with dogs. Caring for them has never felt like a task ... it’s simply part of everyday life for me. Alongside this, I’ve spent many years working as a teacher, which has shaped a calm, patient, and consistent approach to care. I’m used to maintaining routines, reading behaviour carefully, and creating environments where others feel safe, settled, and supported ... skills that translate naturally to looking after dogs in my home. I offer calm, attentive care in a relaxed home environment, treating every dog as an individual and settling them in at their own pace. My approach is gentle, patient, and routine-focused, which helps dogs feel comfortable while you're away. I currently share a home with our 2-year-old dog, Lula, who is friendly, and used to welcoming other dogs into the house. I only host a small number of dogs at a time so each one gets plenty of attention, supervision, and quiet space when needed. I’m home for much of the day and have a flexible schedule, which means dogs are rarely left alone and routines can be maintained consistently. My availability is increasing, allowing me to offer attentive, reliable care throughout the week. My home offers a safe and calm environment, with a fully fenced garden for outdoor time and play. I'm also just steps away from peaceful walking paths and local parks, allowing for relaxed, regular walks without the need for busy roads or travel.

“This is the first time we have used a sitter for our four cats 3 of which are over 15 years old. Alison came for a meet and greet before the booking, and our cats took to Alison right away (which is unusual for a couple of them). We booked Alison to come 3 times while we were away we also had a cat cam to keep an eye on them as well, just in case Alison had not seen them. One of our cats was sick, we messaged Alison to go and check the cats and asked her to clean it up as with the heat it would not have waited until her next visit. Alison went in and clean it up for us - nothing has been too much for her she has a lovely personality and all of our cats really took to her. We defiantly will be using Alison again - would have given her 10 stars - would highly recommend Alison”

About: Pet Owner, animal lover looking for dog walking and sitting around St Ives. Work away but am home regularly on Leave and weekends. Live in a house, with a secure fenced garden. So pet sitting is an option. My family have owned pets since i was born, so have experience with dogs and training puppies. Have previously looked after dogs for family and friends. I am reliable, trustworthy individual. I have lots of experience looking after my mums dog. I am happy to walk them as much or as little as you like. And can be flexible in my approach to looking after them. Just let me know any special requirements, so i can make them feel as comfortable as i can and ensure you are relaxed with your fur baby being with someone else. I'm currently working full time, but have loads of holiday time coming up. So can look after them during the week and on weekends. I have a decent size garden, that has a secure fence, there is plenty of grass space that your fur babys can enjoy. My house is both wooden floor and carpet.

About: We are owners of 11 year old little Yorkshire terrier and 2 year old Bichon Frise. Dogs in our family were always treated as official parts of our family and always spoiled to the moon and back. We've have had and older German shepherd but unfortunately had to put him down because of his sickness, that caused a big hole in our hearts. Our little Yorkshire is a friendly, polite doggy with a little body but massive heart ❤ and little Bichon is treating him as an older brother If anything is unclear or you want to ask something, just send us a message. About: Hi I’m Hannah👋 I have extensive experience with dogs. I previously owned my gorgeous staffy Charlie who I sadly lost last December. He was my absolute world and I would love another dog in time when I am ready, but in the meantime I would love to help and look after other people pets! I have experience mostly with medium to large dogs including staffies, golden retrievers, XL bully’s, hounds and more! I am an animal lover and I will treat your dog like my own, making sure they are happy and comfortable, and I love dog cuddles! Happy for you to message with any questions. I WFH and have a very flexible job which is why I am able to offer pet sitting, drop ins and walks. I work full time but work from home 9 days a fortnight (only in the office one day a fortnight). My employer is extremely flexible which means I can ensure your pets needs are fully met. I do not currently have a dog of my own, which is why I have joined rover as I can offer my love and care to other peoples dogs! I do not have children and I am happy to do longer stays if you are staying away. I would rather pet sit at your home as I feel this may be more relaxing for your pet, however I would be open to them staying at my home after a visit if this is what you prefer. When house sitting, I provide attentive, personalised pet care that ensure your dog feels happy and comfortable. I am a very clean and neat person (I used to do cleaning as a second job) so will leave your house just as clean and tidy as you left it!

Outside these hours, I am free to care for your pets! I am available on weekdays after 1pm and on weekends, so I have plenty of time to provide your animals with exercise, attention and care. I aim to follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I always prioritise safety, whether we are out on walks or relaxing at home. I will ensure your pet has constant access to fresh water, is fed according to your instructions, and receives plenty of care, attention and affection.

I’m Chloe 👋🐾 I’m a massive animal lover and have a little zoo of my own with two dogs and a cat, so I completely understand how stressful it can be trying to find someone you actually trust to look after your pets. I’m definitely that pet owner. The one who leaves unnecessarily detailed instructions, checks their phone for updates and wants to know whether everyone has eaten, had a wee and is generally living their best life 😂 So when I’m looking after someone else’s animals, I treat them exactly how I’d want mine treated. I’m comfortable with different personalities too. Whether you’ve got a dog who wants to walk for miles, one who would rather spend the afternoon snoozing, a nervous little soul who needs some patience, or a cat who will spend the first three visits judging me from across the room, I’m happy to work at their pace. I can help with dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, cuddles, keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I know even small things like feeding times, favourite toys and the usual walking route can make a big difference when their owner isn’t there. You’ll also get updates from me because I know what it’s like being on the other side wondering whether your pet is okay. Expect photos, little updates and probably a running commentary of what they’ve been up to. If your dog has done something ridiculous, you will absolutely be hearing about it 😂 Having my own pets means I know they aren’t “just animals”. They’re part of the family, and trusting somebody with them (and often trusting that person in your home too) is a big deal. I’d always want you to feel completely comfortable with me before leaving your pets in my care. Basically, if you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, down-to-earth and slightly obsessed with animals, I’d love to meet you and your furry family. 🐶🐱❤️ And yes… I will probably become emotionally attached to your pet after approximately one visit. 😂 I work full time but also take my dog to work where they have a large studio space to run around which I could also take your dog. Otherwise I can work from home a lot so easy for me to work around that. I have a very large fenced garden for London so they can spend lots of time outside. Also welcome on the sofas (or not if you dont want that)
