Katherine welcomed her with open arms and took such good care of her, taking her on daily walks, letting her sleep on the beds and couches, making sure she had her medication and giving her space and cuddles when needed. She sent me regular updates about Hayley so I had peace of mind that she was settling in and enjoying her time with her temporary new family. When it was time to fetch her she looked sad to leave! About: I have lots of hands on experience caring for dogs through having my own Border Collie. He is a big part of our family, so I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable and cared for when they are away from their owners. I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, cuddles and keeping a close eye on a dog’s behaviour and needs. I’m patient, caring and responsible, and I know that every dog has their own personality and routine. I also have a cat at home, so I would always discuss this with owners beforehand to make sure their dog is comfortable around cats and that the arrangement is suitable for everyone. I’ll follow their usual feeding instructions and provide plenty of supervision, affection and enrichment. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll make sure introductions are handled carefully and at a pace that suits each individual dog.

About: Update…. I now devote all my spare time to loving and caring for other animals, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and rabbits. Anything you might need looking after please get in touch, prices can be changed for smaller pets too. I have a cockapoo who is now 4 years old and recently lost a schnauzer who was 13. I care for my dog and all my cats going for short walks to long adventures. All dogs are unique and require different care and if you need someone to pop in when you’re out for long hours or overnight. Just get in touch. I can walk them or just provide company. I work part time so I have a lot of spare time on my hands and over the last 2 months I have been working for a cat sitting service. I absolutely love caring for other people’s pets. Feeding, playing and ensuring they are not alone for long periods of time. I care for pets in their own homes/enviroments. It eases any unnecessary stress to them. I pop in during the day once or twice length of time can vary.

“I would highly recommend Tanya for looking after your pets. I have two home cats, who get a bit of separation anxiety from me and need like quite a bit of attention. I also have two Chameleons, that require routine with specific requirements and two fish tanks both tropical. Tanya stayed at my home for the week, we met up prior to this so she could meet the animals and I could show her the routine, of the animals and there requirements. Tanya had given me updates with the animals while I was away, which I found very reassuring. When I came home, my home was clean and tidy, the animals had been very well looked after. Tanya had even gone out of her way and brought an extra toy to play with the cats, which was very thoughtful of her. Without a doubt I would use Tanya’s services again, knowing my home and my animals requirements were looked after. Thank you Tanya for doing such a great job.”
About: We are owners of 11 year old little Yorkshire terrier and 2 year old Bichon Frise. Dogs in our family were always treated as official parts of our family and always spoiled to the moon and back. We've have had and older German shepherd but unfortunately had to put him down because of his sickness, that caused a big hole in our hearts. Our little Yorkshire is a friendly, polite doggy with a little body but massive heart ❤ and little Bichon is treating him as an older brother If anything is unclear or you want to ask something, just send us a message. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 15 years old and before that was walking dogs for friends, neighbours and family. If booking for doggy daycare please be advised your dog will have to be friendly with other dogs as Posie will be here too 😊 I am available for pet sitting and walking over the weekends and can help out with toilet breaks during the day on these days, I can sometimes do week days but my schedule changes each week. Whether you’ve got a dog who wants to walk for miles, one who would rather spend the afternoon snoozing, a nervous little soul who needs some patience, or a cat who will spend the first three visits judging me from across the room, I’m happy to work at their pace. I can help with dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, cuddles, keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I know even small things like feeding times, favourite toys and the usual walking route can make a big difference when their owner isn’t there. You’ll also get updates from me because I know what it’s like being on the other side wondering whether your pet is okay. Expect photos, little updates and probably a running commentary of what they’ve been up to. Safety and trust is so important when caring for pets- to ensure your dogs/cats are safe I always take measures such as opening doors slowly to avoid escapes or injuries, using backup leads on walks incase of breakage, avoiding other dogs during dog walks, keeping medication and human food out of reach for pets, ensuring pets don’t overheat in the sun, and so much more! Also meeting the dogs/cats for the first time is so important for setting up the trust relationship- so i always make sure i am calm- go down to the dogs level- and allow them to come to me!!

About: JUST STARTED BACK FROM MATERNITY LEAVE I've worked with and owned many different species of animals through out my life. I've worked and owned a variety of dogs for many many years. I also have experience with horses over 19 years. I also run my own dog walking and equine services business for 7 years now. I'm am currently already a well established dog walker and equine groom so I'm just adding on to my work load. About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule. Within an owner’s home, I will follow all instructions provided, keeping their pets in a safe environment at all times and only using positive reinforcement techniques.
