About: I grow up with pets this being my own pets or family and friends. I had the responsibility of making sure they were well looked after, took them for long walks, vets appointments, giving medication, and baths. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time during the day to take care of pets and they emotional needs and physical needs. I have a nice and safe house in the city centre of Cambridge which gives me the opportunity to go in nice walks around town and plenty of green spaces.

About: I am a vet student and have recently moved to Cambridge after growing up in the countryside in Cornwall surrounded by animals. I love looking after animals of all shapes and sizes. About: Hello! I’m Declan, a Vet currently completing further specialised training at Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. I live 2 minutes from the hospital itself. I have been a registered vet for three years and am happy to help look after your animal, especially if they need additional needs such as medications / injections. I currently work full time but am able to come home at lunch / when needed for treatments. Weekends I am able to accommodate based on provisional bookings. Not all weekends are possible due to my job :) I have a fenced garden and no animals living with me. Any cats would be strictly indoors only. All doors and windows are kept locked during the day. About: Having grown up with more than 6 cats (Burmese, tabby, and gingers) and 2 dogs (lab and yorkshire terrier)- as well as being a part time nanny for families with dogs for over three years- I am very experienced and equipped to care for your dog/s and cat/s needs. Safety and trust is so important when caring for pets- to ensure your dogs/cats are safe I always take measures such as opening doors slowly to avoid escapes or injuries, using backup leads on walks incase of breakage, avoiding other dogs during dog walks, keeping medication and human food out of reach for pets, ensuring pets don’t overheat in the sun, and so much more! Also meeting the dogs/cats for the first time is so important for setting up the trust relationship- so i always make sure i am calm- go down to the dogs level- and allow them to come to me!!

Kashif took care of my cat when I was away on holiday. Mini is very shy, and I was happy to see how quickly she warmed up to her new cat sitter. Kashif sent regular updates with fotos. My arrival date was not clear until the last minute and he was very accommodating. I can warmly recommend Kashif and will certainly book him again if he is available.
Charlotte was exceptionally good at looking after Mochi. We had regular updates and pictures showing that our nervous cat soon warmed to her new friend. Mochi was in the best mood on our return and had clearly been well looked after. Would definitely have Charlotte cat sit again.
Sarah was fantastic, really tried to get our shy kitty to interact, even swapping round her visit order so she could be there at his meal time and tempt him to play afterwards. Even when he didn't want to emerge for more than a cursory sniff, she hid treats for him so he had something to puzzle out later on. He just about trusted her after a week and gave in to cuddles, so we would happily recommend.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
