About: I just finished my PhD and suddenly have much more time on my hands while working from home and miss having dogs around. For about four years, I’ve regularly looked after friends’ dogs, doing walks, play, and overnights, one of which had a lot if separation anxiety that me and her parents managed to lesson over the years together. However, I recently moved back to Cambridge, after living up in Edinburgh for 2-3 years and no longer see my friends’ dogs as often. Hence, I’d love to welcome your dog instead and give them the same warm, reliable care as I was able to do up in Scotland. I currently work part-time and mostly from home, so I’m around during the day for walks, feeding, and company. This means your dog will always have company. I take safety and trust really seriously, and would love you to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog with me. I have a have fenced backyard where dogs can explore and play safely, and would always supervise outdoor time. Inside, your dog will stay in a calm, homey environment with plenty of attention. Before any booking, I would obviously love to chat about your dog’s character, routine, and any important do’s and don’ts (for example: recall, food rules, reactivity, separation anxiety, or quirks). I’m happy to follow your training approach, keep to feeding and walk schedules, and accommodate any specific needs or preferences.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs any small breed for 8 years. Neighbors, friends and family could trust and rely on me every time. I treat dogs as our best friends always respecting their wellbeing - if they want to play, rest or go for a walk. I am currently working in clinical trials from the office Monday-Thursday. In this case, i’m available afternoons and evenings (after 5pm) during the week and whole day weekends. I am also available for a few day stays if you need to go for holidays or you just can’t take your puppy with you :) The most important for me is the wellbeing of the dog, the place where it can rest/have fun (i have a spacious living room). I live next to the park and thames path, so there is plenty of space for walks and meet furry friends. In case of dangerous situations, I know how to avoid such situations and take care of dogs. I always maintain the schedule for feeding and follow the rules provided by the dog owner.

About: Ive always had a dog and I am also loved by cats, I love giving them attention and like it too. You're leaving your baby in safe hands coz when Im with pets they become my world. I feel I understand animals well, even though they can’t communicate in the same way we do—perhaps it’s my biologist’s instinct. I truly enjoy spending time with them and would be delighted to care for your beloved pets. As a PhD student, I have a self-managed schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to pet care. I also see this as more than just a side role—it’s something that brings me joy and a sense of calm, almost like therapy, while ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and well looked after. As I have lived in the past in an area where wildlife is common, I always took extra precautions to keep pets safe, including ensuring they remain indoors after 6 PM, even for short strolls. I also carefully check the environment to remove any sharp or hazardous objects. Most importantly, I pay close attention to their behavior and cues, making sure they feel heard, understood, and comfortable at all times.

About: I’ve looked after my friends’ pets when they’ve been away for extended periods of time. I am happy to do a range of jobs to ensure they feel safe and happy. Im currently finished with school as I have moved from New Zealand to the UK. I won’t go to University till September so I will be free most days to take care of your pets. I am able to be a calm presence in the house and will be able to take care of them if they start feeling scared or uncomfortable.

About: I have shared care for two of the loveliest pugs for several years, and have looked after friend's and family's pets for many years. I have looked after pugs, labradoodles, and cocker spaniels. I am a part-time PhD student so can be very flexible with schedule and needs of the pet. I have a car and a bike so can easily get to and from homes when needed. I am a warm, caring person who loves to play with and have cuddles with animals.
