About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have grown up with dogs and now own the most wonderful cavapoo, Callie, who is just over 1 year old. I have been looking after dogs in and around Cambridge for the last year and a half on other platforms and would love to meet new doggos and humans through Rover. We got Callie as a puppy and so are well aware of the needs of young puppies and I am more than happy to do dog training whilst your companion is in my care. My last dog lived to the grand age of 16 and so I am also sensitive to older dogs and making them comfortable. My work is flexible and so I can look after dogs as and when required with very few exceptions from weekly work commitments. Weekends and evenings are always free. I own my home which has a good sized garden with 6-foot fence. I live opposite a play park and so are not close to any busy road. With my own dog I am relaxed with where she goes - on sofas, beds, etc. She does sleep in a crate but we have also had dogs sleep on the bed with me as well.

I need not have worried. She had a fantastic week with Erin and Andrea. After her first trial visit, as soon as she saw there street, she was pulling to get to their door - very excited. Erin and Andrea made additional notes to mine and coped with the routine without a hitch. They contacted me during the trial nights to ensure they had fully understood, and for clarification on something I had overlooked. It was lovely to receive their updates and be able to see that my dog was loving doing her usual things. And I was able to relax knowing my dog was in capable and caring hands. I cannot recommend this couple more highly.”

Our dog had never stayed at another persons house before and can also be anxious but this didn't phase Giselle. She was welcoming and happy to meet our dog, Maple and asked questions about her care before I left. Maplee didnt show any signs of anxiety or being frighted at being lwft with someone she didnt know. When we went to collect Maple on the first day, she clearly had a brilliant day and was reluctant to leave. When we returned on the second day, Maple was straight out the car and clearly very impatient to get back into Giselle's home. They clearly had fun on the second day as Maple was reluctant to leave the garden and clearly had no thoughts of wanting to leave. Would definitely ask Giselle to care for Maple again in the future.
