About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our home was never without one, from a bouncy Poodle to a loyal German Shepherd, a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog, and a spirited Airedale Terrier. Each one left a paw print on my heart. Over my years in Cambridge, I've built up experience in dog walking and sitting, and have a particular soft spot for both puppies and senior dogs, I love them at every stage of life. I woke up around 8am and I have a big garden where the cat/dog can be. I mostly work from home so the cat/dog can be by my side most of the day. “At short notice, I was able to book Ping Yan to look after our dog three times over half term for a full day. She was very professional, friendly and caring and I felt 100% confidence in her. She kept contact throughout the day sending videos and information about how our dog was doing, which was great. On the first day, we were stuck in London and got back much later than we had initially anticipated. Ping Yan was very understanding and kept telling us not to worry as we waited on delayed trains to get back to Cambridge. She made us feel very reassured which really helped. I can’t imagine that anyone would be anything but overjoyed at the way Ping looks after dogs so you have nothing to worry about with her. I always enjoyed their company, and they seem to enjoy mine ☺️ I had a black lab called Brian in my adult years and a cat called Simba. My heart broke to pieces twice when I lost them. I have always been actively seeking dog and cat sitting opportunities, especially before and after Brian. My longest dog sitting was nearly 6 months long, and I still go to visit him whenever I can as we have formed a lovely bond. Dogs staying with us enjoy at minimum of two walks per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, alongside playtime, enrichment and lots of affection. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise and routines, ensuring every dog feels safe, comfortable and at home. My friendly Pomeranian, Coco, is well-socialised and enjoys the company of other dogs (he loved making new friends!).

About: Hi I'm Alma! I have my own dog Snowy back home in Australia, have petsat for friends' dogs (including large breeds like Great Dane mixes) for years and used to volunteer walking dogs at a rescue. I'm also a huge fan of cats, having lived with several over the years and currently am the regular sitter for my friend's two cats Clio and Famke. I used to be a mouse breeder, and am happy to look after any other animals in the house as well, as well as very comfortable with administering medication. I'm currently job searching, so I have plenty of time to spend with your babies! I can do longer daily drop in visits, or stay overnight at your house to keep them company. About: I’ve been around animals since I was about 2 years old and I’ve had pets at home since I was 8 (cats and dogs). 🥰 My family even adopted a stray dog when living abroad (in India ) and trained her from scratch. It was a lengthy but very rewarding process. It taught me a lot about dog psychology and training. We often used to foster dogs before they went into their forever families or did dog sitting for dogs to stay at our house overnight. I really love all animals, I am very patient with pets and very attentive to their needs. I am a full-time MPhil student but I am very happy to take care of your pets (for doggy walks, drop in visits and house sitting) whenever I am free. About: I just finished my PhD and suddenly have much more time on my hands while working from home and miss having dogs around. For about four years, I’ve regularly looked after friends’ dogs, doing walks, play, and overnights, one of which had a lot if separation anxiety that me and her parents managed to lesson over the years together. However, I recently moved back to Cambridge, after living up in Edinburgh for 2-3 years and no longer see my friends’ dogs as often. Hence, I’d love to welcome your dog instead and give them the same warm, reliable care as I was able to do up in Scotland. I currently work part-time and mostly from home, so I’m around during the day for walks, feeding, and company. This means your dog will always have company. I take safety and trust really seriously, and would love you to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog with me. I have a have fenced backyard where dogs can explore and play safely, and would always supervise outdoor time. Inside, your dog will stay in a calm, homey environment with plenty of attention.
