About: I've had dogs my entire life. In Colombia, I volunteered at a dog shelter. Here in Cambridge, I've been occasionally taking care of an adorable dog named Lua. She has been with us for many vacations, becoming a part of our family. Whenever she visits, we enjoy long walks in the woods, trips to the park, baths, and soccer games in my garden. I work part-time at a school, and my husband leaves for work a bit later. I usually return home around 2:40 pm, and we are always around on weekends. I have a large, secure garden, and the bottom part of my house is spacious and safe. I have several parks near my house where we often go for walks.

“I have a slightly nervous rescue dog who I've done a lot of work with over the past 3 years. Emily's been really good at helping me with him, understanding his needs, following "the rules" etc.! It's really important to me that people who look after my dog give him the space he needs, reward him when he's calm or confident, and advocate for him on the occasions that other people/dogs might frighten him. Emily gets this, and he is really a happy little dog these days, so I'm very grateful.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats, since I was really little. When I was a kid, we got a family pet, and my parents where always away with their jobs, and they relied on me to walk and feed them. Also I am a pet owner, and I leave him here with friends every time I go back home, while I am there I love to think he feels as good as if he was with me, so that’s my point to treat others pets. With love and care. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play and walk pups! I have to say, I also go for walks every day as it helps me on my concentration so I would be more than glad to have some company! I have a nice patio for them to get fresh air and play. I have adapted my house for my cat with all the toys and atmosphere.

“Tom and Emma have been absolutely brilliant with Aya; they are lovely and caring and she was so happy with them!! It is so sad she won't able able to stay with them in the future — please notice they can only take care of hypo-allergenic dogs —, I would very happily leave her with them any time. 100% recommended.”

An example of her responsible qualities is when she took up horse riding and was dedicated to early starts working at the stables. Emily has cats and refuses to show favouritism to any of them, ensuring they are well fed and groomed. Emily loves dogs and they most certainly love her by the attention they give her.”

“Imogen was brilliant. I was nervous to leave my 12 week puppy with someone new and she was great in helping reassure me - she let me look round her place in advance with him, she was super prompt in replying to messages and she let me know how he was doing during the day. There was another puppy there who she has been regularly looking after and he had the best day - the videos she sent me showed me how much fun he was having and how relaxed and content he was. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family and my pup Atlas can't wait to go back!!”
