“Lucia is great! She is a wonderfully timely and good communicator. I totally trusted her with my cat. She has a great understanding of cat behavior and needs and always sent me fun videos of my cat! She also kept the place tidy. I will certainly call on Lucia again to watch my cat :)”

“Stella recently cat sat our two playful cats while also house sitting in our home. She reached out to me pre-sit to make sure she knew about both cats, their routines and their personalities. This was really important to me since one of our cats needs anti-seizure medication each day. When she arrived for the sit, we went through their daily routines and I was confident that Stella understood both feeding and medicine dosing. Stella sent us photos and videos of the cats each day along with her observations of their behaviours. You could see how much each cat trusted her and enjoyed her company. When we returned, I had 2 happy cats and one very clean house! Both cats miss her! I would highly recommend her!”

“Kayleigh took great care of my cat while I was away. She provided daily updates and sent lots of photos! I would definitely recommend Kayleigh to look after your pets!”

“It was great having Maisie walk the dogs this week. She arrived on time and was ready for a walk with a lively cocker spaniel! We had done a meet and greet the week before so they were both very happy to go with her. I had complete confidence that she could manage an older dog and a younger livelier one and I'll definitely be using Maisie again”
“Tina was a perfect pet sitter! We really enjoyed the updates from every visit with our cat including some absolutely brilliant photos. Her communication was fantastic and gave us piece of mind whilst we were away that our cat was being looked after. Some parcels that’d arrived while we were away were also stacked neatly in the kitchen when we got back, which was really appreciated. Thanks!”

About: I live in central Cambridge close to midsummer common with my rescue dog, Casper. Casper gets on just fine with other dogs but is nervous around humans. Because I have experience with a scared rescue, I can offer a lot of security that is otherwise challenging. My garden okie fully enclosed and high-fenced, and a double-door system is in place for safety (one door shuts before the other opens). Dogs typically have free access between inside and outside all day whilst the weather is warmer. Weekend activities would typically include a long walk down the river or the Magog Hills, followed by a relaxing afternoon and an evening stroll. We are very much used to dogs having run of the house, so rest-assured your furry friends can make themselves as much at home as they would like. Please do feel free to pack your pet’s favourite toys, bed or blanket. We can provide water bowls. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
About: I've grown up with cats and more recently learnt to love dogs too! Thanks to friends requiring dog care I've developed skills with these furry friends too :) I work full time but am very happy to find time around this to fit in visits, if you're going out for an evening and need a little check-in I'm sure it can work for me. I am offering visits to start with but if we build a relationship and it seems appropriate then pets are welcome to stay in our house (fenced in garden and grassy area to run around)
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since childhood, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. From energetic puppies and loyal adult dogs to curious cats and small pets, I truly enjoy building a connection with every animal I meet. I’m an active person who loves going for walks, so regular outdoor time, exercise, and fresh-air adventures are always part of my routine with pets. Whether it’s playtime, gentle senior care, reinforcing training, or just keeping your pet’s routine consistent, I provide loving, reliable care and treat every animal like my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m currently a student and also work a part-time job, but I keep a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available mornings, evenings, and weekends. I make time every day to get outside for walks and enjoy including pets in that active time. I’m responsible, organized, and always punctual, so you can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, whether that includes feeding, playtime, walks, or cuddle breaks. I’m always happy to discuss scheduling details to make sure it works well for you and your pet. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the routine and guide you provide so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I pay attention to the little details—feeding times, favorite toys, treats, and any special habits—because I know how much routine matters to pets. I treat your home with the same respect as your pet, keeping everything clean and tidy by washing bowls, cleaning up after playtime, and keeping litter or potty areas fresh. I also love staying in touch, so I’ll send regular updates and photos to let you know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make things easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. 🐾
“I’ve been lucky enough to have Chantell take care of my two cats several times. She is a wonderful, caring, and considerate person. Both cats love her and she sends the best updates/photos. I worry about my pets a lot while I’m away and she really puts my mind at ease (especially with the picky eater/timid cat). Very grateful for Chantell!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for five years, driven by my love for animals. My special skill is senior care, gained through volunteering at a senior care home. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and attentiveness, especially in caring for senior or special needs pets. As a PhD student, I have a pretty flexible schedule, especially on weekends. I'm really active and love running, so fitting in walks or playtime with pets is something I enjoy. Caring for pets is a great way for me to take a break from my studies, and it fits perfectly into my routine. When pets stay with me, I focus on making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I make my place pet-friendly by removing anything that could be a hazard and setting up cozy spots for them to chill. I keep a close eye on them to ensure they’re relaxed and happy. I stick to their usual routines and make sure they have plenty of playtime and affection. Whether it’s having their food and water ready or giving them a quiet place to rest, I do my best to make sure every pet feels at home and loved.
“Emma took very good care of our two cats for 12 days drop in visit and also very helpful taking caring of our indoor plants. We recommend Emma if you need drop in visit for your cats or dogs.”

“Pauline is an amazing cat-sitter. We asked her to help out a few days a week for three weeks or so when we were out of the house for long days, and she was wonderful with what turned out to be quite complicated timing. She created a great rapport with our rather crotchety older cat, accommodating his routines on her twice-daily drop-ins and tempting him to play and interaction. He trusted her very quickly and benefited a lot from the visits. Pauline was completely reliable, very responsive and attentive to detail around recording feeding and health issues. She gave us great peace of mind and a lot of reassurance and good advice too, from her own long experience as a foster carer. We would 100% ask Pauline again and recommend her to anyone.”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets: 1 dog (a goldie), 3 cats, 2 hamsters, 2 birds. And all this in a city flat. So I know what it needs to make things run smoothly: frequent, early and late dog walks, feeding schedule, cleaning, etc. I took care of different types of dogs from small to large, old to young: poodles, airdale terrier, Foxterrier, English setter, mixed breed. My parner‘s family‘s dogs (goldie, English setter, mixed breed) were very old and we sitted them for several days. I am a PhD student and can work from home - or anyone else’s home as long as I have WiFi. All I need is to know briefly in advance. My meetings tend to not go longer than 2 h. I have experience with many different types of dogs and can adapt to the dog’s personality. If the dog is young and active, I can go for long walks, play fetch, etc. if the dog is older I’m happy to go for short walks. I am very diligent so would follow owner instructions most accurately.
About: After having grown up with animals all my life, i’ve always had that special bond with them. Hoping to continue my love and admiration by sharing that and caring for them in hopes to make their place in this world even more appreciated! I currently work part time with flexible hours so I have lots of time to fit in walks, drop in visits and availability to housesit. I can cater to all needs your furry friend might have and can adapt to how they might differ. I can be calm and collected for your more nervous pets whilst also being able to play and keep up with your high energy ones!

Cambridge cat owners share their Rover experiences
My cats absolutely loved Pauline and even my shy girl, who usually hides from sitters, came and out of her shell to play and have a fuss made of her! Pauline messaged with lots of lovely photos and videos and let me know what the cats had been up to after every visit, and I could see how happy they were to spend time with her. I'd happily book Pauline to cat sit again :)

Rocio was exceptionally gentle with our cats and attentive to every detail throughout her care. Her approach towards them was genuinely warm, patient, and deeply caring, which immediately put us at ease. She clearly took the time to understand their needs and personalities, and we felt they were in very safe and loving hands. As this was our first cat-sitting experience in Cambridge, we couldn’t have asked for a more positive and reassuring one; thanks entirely to Rocio.

From the first few moments meeting Danuta, we felt at ease that our cats were in good hands. She was professional and caring of their personal needs. We were so impressed with the daily reports, cleaning & photos sent to us too! We will definitely use her service again when needed.

Louise did an excellent job looking after my two cats while I was away. She sent me updates every day and I came back to two very happy & calm kitties. It was very reassuring to know that they were being so well cared for. I will definitely be using her services again when I am next away.

We've used Larissa many times to look after Flash, our (we think) adorable tuxedo cat. We've found Larissa to be reliable, friendly, and affectionate towards our cat - who laps up the attention! She's also flexible and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty if need be. For example, we were experiencing delays with our return flight, and she happily remained on standby until she knew we were home with Flash. She's a lovely young woman and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Megan is a fantastic and professional catsitter! She is proactive and organized, and she helped me clean up the mess my cats made. She also took plenty of pictures, which made me feel relieved. I highly recommend Megan to anyone in need of someone to take care of their pets!
