“Rocio was amazing with our 2 cats, Sammy and Lola. She was kind and attentive and understood their individual needs. Both cats require medication and Rocio administered this diligently without causing any distress. Rocio sent pictures and daily updates which was helpful and reassuring. I would certainly book her again.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since childhood, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. From energetic puppies and loyal adult dogs to curious cats and small pets, I truly enjoy building a connection with every animal I meet. I’m an active person who loves going for walks, so regular outdoor time, exercise, and fresh-air adventures are always part of my routine with pets. Whether it’s playtime, gentle senior care, reinforcing training, or just keeping your pet’s routine consistent, I provide loving, reliable care and treat every animal like my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m currently a student and also work a part-time job, but I keep a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available mornings, evenings, and weekends. I make time every day to get outside for walks and enjoy including pets in that active time. I’m responsible, organized, and always punctual, so you can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, whether that includes feeding, playtime, walks, or cuddle breaks. I’m always happy to discuss scheduling details to make sure it works well for you and your pet. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the routine and guide you provide so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I pay attention to the little details—feeding times, favorite toys, treats, and any special habits—because I know how much routine matters to pets. I treat your home with the same respect as your pet, keeping everything clean and tidy by washing bowls, cleaning up after playtime, and keeping litter or potty areas fresh. I also love staying in touch, so I’ll send regular updates and photos to let you know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make things easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. 🐾

“Tahiana took wonderful care of our 15 year old cat Nick while we were away for the bank holiday weekend. She ensured he was well scritched, fed, and loved. We were also provided with updates and pictures. We would definitely book Tahiana again :)”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and my parents have a collective 6 dogs that I have lots of experience tending to. I have experience working at a dog boarding business that typically has around 8-10 dogs at any given time. I helped with the dogs and the boarding business when I was living back in California and I still do whenever I go home. Because of this I have dealt with many types of dogs. I have taken care of puppies and administered medication for aging or sick dogs. The dog boarding business I have experience with has a gated property in the woods and do not kennel their dogs so I am used to having dogs around and in the house constantly and dealing with the needs of many dogs at the same time. I have done a lot of housesitting. This includes two families whose whose farms I used to housesit for for up to three weeks at a time. They both had cats, a large dog, chickens, a garden, and an orchard. One also had horses and the other had goats. Because of this I am very comfortable taking care of large properties and dealing with farm animals. I am also comfortable managing dogs around farm animals. I have also cat sat for 2 weeks for a family with two cats (one of whom was elderly and needed medication and lots of attention). I am a full time PhD student with the ability to work remotely so I can work from your home and watch your animal during the day I am a PhD student with the ability to work remotely and I have a fairly flexible schedule so I can come take care of your pet all day while I work. I am able to provide them with as much care as they need during the day while I work. I am organised and very good at following the instructions you set out for the care of your pet. I am not able to watch pets in my own home due to a no pets contract but I can come and upkeep your home for you while watching your pet I am an experienced house sitter and can make sure your house is given just as much care as your animal. I have experience watching large properties and a large number of animals and following strict instructions for the upkeep of both.

“Erika watched our cats for about a month and took great care of them. We got lovely pictures each time she visited and a little update so we could rest easy. This was the second time we used her and she never disappoints. We will be using her services again. Our kitties love her, and they don't love just anyone. ”

Nena has looked after our cats a couple of times now, and she has been absolutely fantastic every time. She’s incredibly caring and attentive, especially during the hot days this summer, making sure Mochi stayed cool and even adding ice cubes to her water. She always kept us updated after each visit, which gave us such great peace of mind while we were away. She also made sure to give them plenty of cuddles and playtime, so it was clear they were getting lots of love and attention. We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter, highly recommend Nena!

Josephine did a wonderful job looking after our cat Mollie while we were away for a week. She worked hard to build a relationship with our shy and sometimes grumpy cat, and was brilliant with communication and following our instructions. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again!

We were concerned to leave our young cat alone for five days, but Rocio won her heart immediately, while also giving us reassurance that she was in good hands. She took extra care because of the heat wave. We got home to find everything in perfect order. Rocio is an excellent carer.

Freya was wonderful! She cared for Muffin beautifully and kept us up-to-date on how he was doing with lots of photos. She even watered my plants which were looking thirsty in the warm weather! Muffin had a lovely time with her and we will definitely book in with Freya again in the future 🥰

Paloma did a fantastic job looking after my cats during the latest heat wave. She's very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Even my shy girl took to her quickly and she often hides behind the sofa when people she doesn't know come into the house. I'd highly recommend Paloma and will be using her services again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
