About: I've grown up with dogs and been around dogs for almost all of my life. Until recently owned a 12 year old cocker spaniel called Tigger. I'm a keen Cani Cross Runner and Tigger was a great running dog, he absolute loved it, so I'm trying to help more dogs be active. A healthy active dog is a dog that will have a longer healthy life and a lot of dogs don't get the exercise they need. I'd love to help change that. 😊 I'm available almost all the time when I'm not travelling and happy to work around your schedule with enough notice. Let's have a chat about your needs. If you would like me to try running with your dog the following apllies: I would need to take your dog out for a walk or two first to learn about their habits and needs. Then if they've not tried Cani Cross before we would need to take it slowly as there's a lot to learn for both me and your dog about how we run together. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about this as well, so do let me know and if you'd like to come along as well that's even better!

About: I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and have availability to work from home if your pets need someone that is around more! I work in the Chesterton area, and am able to do walks early morning and later afternoon! I unfortunately cannot board your pets at my home. However, I will ensure they stay safe and loved under my care, regular walks, and lots of cuddles!

“This is the first time we have used a sitter for our four cats 3 of which are over 15 years old. Alison came for a meet and greet before the booking, and our cats took to Alison right away (which is unusual for a couple of them). We booked Alison to come 3 times while we were away we also had a cat cam to keep an eye on them as well, just in case Alison had not seen them. One of our cats was sick, we messaged Alison to go and check the cats and asked her to clean it up as with the heat it would not have waited until her next visit. Alison went in and clean it up for us - nothing has been too much for her she has a lovely personality and all of our cats really took to her. We defiantly will be using Alison again - would have given her 10 stars - would highly recommend Alison”

About: I have been caring for pets for 20+ years, including my own dog and looking after neighbours' and friends' dogs. I have experience with various breeds such as Chow Chows, Labradors, Jack Russell Terriers, Border Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzu mixes, and Romanian rescues. I have trained my own puppy and am comfortable administering medication. I can handle multiple pets and have dealt with challenging behaviours, including helping my reactive rescue dog overcome her fears. While I don't have specific experience with special needs pets, my adaptability as a teacher allows me to provide excellent care. I can provide references from previous pet owners I have cared for. I have recently returned to work as a full-time teacher at a school in Girton. Therefore, I will not be at home during the day. However, I am still offering sitting services in the evenings and on weekends. Additionally, if you are comfortable with it, I am happy to have your pet stay at my house during the day. During the school holidays I will be able to stay at yours or have your pet at mine, where I will be at home during the day. During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I also finish at 4pm so I also have time after work during the week. My weekends are quite free so I’d be more than happy to help out then, too! Additionally, I am more than happy to look after your furry friends during the school holidays. I ensure that the home is pet-proofed and secure, minimising any potential hazards. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!

About: I love animals (but everyone on here says that don't they!) I also have real hands-on experience dealing with rescue dogs that had a bad start so maybe a little 'minxy' in their behaviours. I had a dog as a kid and have one now with a myriad of 'quirky' behaviors. I've taken online courses in Dog Behaviours and Zoopharmacognosy (self-medication in the animal kingdom) so you know I have an avid interest in the general well-being of all animals. I will be available for daytime sits in your home, drop ins and evening sits from August. I can work from home three days a week so am happy for short mid week sits as well as long as you have a good wifi/internet signal! I have a fenced garden and 1 dog, I will care for your pet however you instruct me to but have experience crating and making up games as and when needed. I can also assist with basic puppy training and have dog reactivity experience.

About: I have had dogs my entire life as my mother used to breed as I got older I used to help her. I have always owned a dog since the age of 13 and I am very confident around big dogs as well as being comfortable looking after puppies. I have experience with my own dogs in their senior years, administering medicine and also have trained my own puppies. I have children who go to school so am free most days to sit, check in or walk your dog/pets. I am available at the weekends but this may not be until after lunchtime. I can care for your pets in your home or take dogs out for walks. I do have my own dog and cat and am not currently offering to look after your pets at my own home at the moment, if this is something you are interested in I would first need to get to know your dog.

About: I started my own little petsitting business from the age of 10, when I walked dogs and looked after a large range of smaller pets in Cambridge. I have experience of injecting insulin in pets and im happy to learn other medical needs. I have a cat of my own who's previously lived with a dog, and I also have pet rats. Im currently working a 0 hour contract at a school, while caring for my parents. Therefor I'm more available in school holiday times and weekends. Some weekdays I have online appointments, so I can easily fit that around petsitting :) I can care for pets in thier own houses over the holidays, or I can care at my house for shorter periods. I have an enclosed gravel back garden and a grassy front garden. My house os a short walk from the park or the community centre, so I can easily take a dog out.

About: Hi! I’m Chloe 👋🐾 I’m a massive animal lover and have a little zoo of my own with two dogs and a cat, so I completely understand how stressful it can be trying to find someone you actually trust to look after your pets. I’m definitely that pet owner. The one who leaves unnecessarily detailed instructions, checks their phone for updates and wants to know whether everyone has eaten, had a wee and is generally living their best life 😂 So when I’m looking after someone else’s animals, I treat them exactly how I’d want mine treated. I’m comfortable with different personalities too. Whether you’ve got a dog who wants to walk for miles, one who would rather spend the afternoon snoozing, a nervous little soul who needs some patience, or a cat who will spend the first three visits judging me from across the room, I’m happy to work at their pace. I can help with dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, cuddles, keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I know even small things like feeding times, favourite toys and the usual walking route can make a big difference when their owner isn’t there. You’ll also get updates from me because I know what it’s like being on the other side wondering whether your pet is okay. Expect photos, little updates and probably a running commentary of what they’ve been up to. If your dog has done something ridiculous, you will absolutely be hearing about it 😂 Having my own pets means I know they aren’t “just animals”. They’re part of the family, and trusting somebody with them (and often trusting that person in your home too) is a big deal. I’d always want you to feel completely comfortable with me before leaving your pets in my care. Basically, if you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, down-to-earth and slightly obsessed with animals, I’d love to meet you and your furry family. 🐶🐱❤️ And yes… I will probably become emotionally attached to your pet after approximately one visit. 😂 I work full time but also take my dog to work where they have a large studio space to run around which I could also take your dog. Otherwise I can work from home a lot so easy for me to work around that. I have a very large fenced garden for London so they can spend lots of time outside. Also welcome on the sofas (or not if you dont want that)

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child - dogs, cats hamsters - and have helped with all kinds of animal care. I now have two British shorthair cat brothers who are my absolute world!

About: I’m currently not working so have lots of time to give your pets the attention they need. I spend around one third of my time sitting for friends, living at their house and caring for their two bengal cats while they’re travelling. I’m also the first point of call to most friends when they need dog care. I’ve done a variety of different sits for strangers on other sites, and have plenty of experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. My auntie works on a farm, so I’ve spent lots of time with farm animals throughout my life too. I’m a true animal lover :) I work from home 2 days per week, in the office 3 days per week. Often home at weekends. My parents is currently not working so is home all day most days. We’ll have plenty of time for love/fuss, cuddles, and play time. Happy to follow any usual routine you have for your pets. Dogs are to stay downstairs only, and cats would have free roam. Pets would be kept safely indoors. There are lots of lovely walks nearby for dogs.

About: I have grown up always around dogs, including whole litters of puppies and elderly dogs, so I am happy and comfortable caring for all the different characters, ages and sizes your dogs may be. Since being away from home I have really missed their company so I would love to take your dog out in a walk that hopefully we would both fully enjoy. I am also very happy to do short or longer house sitting. I am about to start a degree, as a mature student, which only requires 2-3 days in person at uni per week. I am therefore regularly available other days of the week and could commit to weekly visits on days that work well for us both. I would love to provide the best possible care for your dog by finding out their normal routine/ likes and dislikes and then sticking to that as much as possible. That way, although I will be a new person, your dog will hopefully feel comfortable in their own home and with a familiar routine. I'm about to start university as a mature student. My course only requires 2-3 days in person per week, so on other days I will be flexible to fit dog walking/sitting around my independent studies. There will also be periods during university holidays where I have much more availability. At your own home I will be keen to learn your pet's preferences and routine so that I can maintain this as much as possible for their comfort.
