“Maria was great looking after our cat Lupita. She was available very short notice, considering this to be the first time she cared for our cat. As soon as we met Maria knew that we were leaving Lupita in very good hands. Maria was approachable, 100% reliable, very professional and genuinely lovely and caring with Lupita. We won’t hesitate to use her great services again. She took great photos of Lupita as well!! Thanks very much Maria, we are very grateful for your help 😊”

2. Lauren T.

“Lauren was fantastic. We’ve come home to a very happy cat. She looked after all the necessities, to ensure he was fed, watered and clean, but also importantly gave him the attention he likes. It was great to see her feedback and photos in the app, very reassuring. We would recommend her 👍”

4. Courtney D.

“Courtney was great at looking after our kittens, she came over to meet them before we needed her for the drop-in visits and seemed to know a lot about how best to handle them and care for them. She confirmed she'd done everything we'd asked and sent lots of videos and photos which was great as it was our first time leaving them. We would definitely ask Courtney to look after our kittens again, thank you!”

About: I have pets of my own and understand how it feels when you have to leave them on their own during the day or putting them in kennels or cattery when going on holiday. I have 5 years animal management experience at BTEC and Bachelor’s of Science degree level. I have recently finished my degree therefore I am currently available at any time. I am looking for additional work so this may change over time. I will always make sure doors to your residents are locked and your pets are safe and secure indoors. When walking your dog I personally would prefer to keep them on the lead to keep them safe.

6. Hannah D.

“Hannah was absolutely amazing. Pictures and updates were sent each drop in. I felt very comfortable letting her do drop ins at my home. Highly recommend and would love to have her watch my kitties again.”

7. Rebecca P.
“Rebecca is an extremely compassionate, caring person who goes out of her way to help others. She is one of the most reliable people I know. When it comes to my dog, named Cash, I am EXTREMELY particular about who I allow to watch or care for him. I have no problems at all allowing someone with a heart like Rebecca to take care of Cash, because I know I can count on her to not only make sure he’s cared for, but also loved as if he was her own. I cannot recommend Rebecca enough!!!”

About: I'm an experienced dog owner for over 12 years. I've attended training classes with my dogs and am happy to practice basic training with your pup or older dog. I currently work from home and spend most of my day with my assistant, Obi the Pug. I make plenty of time for walkies, be that in the morning, lunch, or evening. I have a fenced yard, and will always supervise your dog when he's out. I can also crate your dog if that's something you require, my own dog is crate trained. I will not let your dog walk off lead unless that's something we agree on beforehand and I'm sure that is safe.

About: Having worked with animals both personally and professionally for over 10 years, I have listed below the skill set I have acquired: 1. Study Animal Behaviour at degree level 2. Sound knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour and the welfare needs required to keep them happy and healthy 3. Dog training experience under professional canine behaviour counsellors through university 4. Puppy training and socialisation 5. Administration of medications and basic first aid for dogs 6. Senior care 7. Dog walking 8. Understanding of separation anxiety and working with retired working/companion animals I’m currently in university and attend lectures on Monday; Wednesday and Friday until the beginning of summer. My lectures usually last between 1-2 hours in the morning and my partner works from home so the house is occupied at all times and is also experienced in pet care. I am available on weekends and bank holidays and am keen to have a companion joining me on long nature walks. I ensure to provide a safe, relaxing environment when dogs stay at my home ensuring that I am constantly meeting the dogs needs. I like to gain a sound understanding of the dogs personality and needs from the owners prior to boarding or house sitting so that I can upkeep the same standard that the owners do. I have a sound understanding of potential triggers for nervous individuals and know the necessary steps to ensure maximum safety for everyone in our house. We live in a quiet area with plenty of nature surrounding us and like to take full advantage of being able to get out of the house and enjoy the outside. Our house is within a gated community that can be closed on request. We have a garden that is protected by a fence and contains a grass area for the doggies to do their business. Our garden is small, however we live across from a the racecourse and so ensure 2 good walks a day (depending on the dogs needs) so that they can have a good sniff and a play. We have a large living room and two large upstairs bedrooms, all protected with a door. If upstairs access needs to be prevented we are happy to install a baby gate. Our front door is protected by a porch which we lock when we are within the house to prevent any dogs from running out.

18. Lynne D.
“We have no hesitation in recommending Lynne D to look after your pet/s whether for a day or whilst you are away on holiday. You can rest assured that she will make sure your pet /s are looked after as if they were her own. Lynne is responsible, calm and trustworthy and will always put your pet first and ensure their health and well-being. My boy had a fab time, lovely long walks, lots of fuss and attention and Lynne sent us daily updates, photos. Keeping an animal in its own routine with one-to-one care is far better than leaving them in a kennel.”

About: There’s a difference between an animal carer and an animal lover! Animals have been a big part of my life. It has been my goal since I was young to improve the lives of animals and to educate others on how to do this too. All my jobs have been animal related, so I have good knowledge of animal health and behaviour. I never take risks and by choosing me, you’re choosing your animals health, happiness and safety! I currently work full time 08:00-16:00 Monday to Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday until 15:30. Therefore I am available after those times, with full weekend availability. I plan to start slow and eventually do this full time. Before providing the required service I would like to create a profile for your animals which includes any injuries, medical conditions, dietary requirements, behaviour etc. To ensure your animals get the unique service they require. I will never push the limits of any animal nor take any risks. Anything unusual or concerning will be reported to you straight away. Meeting you and your animals will be required first before providing any services to ensure I am comfortable and to ensure that the correct service can be provided. as well as making sure you’re happy with your decision to choose me!

20. Melissa P.
About: Welcome to Parry Dog Platinum, My name is Melissa and I run PDP, a small local dog walking & pet drop in service. I adore being around animals, having dogs around the house really brings my home to life. I offer a 60 minute dog walk. This gives your fury friend a chance to play, burn off energy, basic lead training and a stimulating time out of the house. Once myself and your dog have gotten familiar with each other (after a few walks) I will then decide whether to take you dog off lead or not. I also offer a 30 minute pet drop in service for cats & dogs. All breeds are welcome. My full attention is available for all of your dogs individual needs. During the drop in they will be giving a toilet break, given food (if instructed to) and of course they shall be given a lot of affection and play time. Since I was a child I have had pet dogs & cats. I have learnt a lot over the years about dog behaviour and training. I am a qualified level 2 dog groomer. I am educated in the five animal needs, how to handle and care for dogs along with grooming and health checks. If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I work full time in the evenings and I have my days free for my dog walking. I am only available during the week between the times of 8am-2pm. If you have a specific time out of those hours please message me as I could be available. If for what ever reason my childcare is cancelled on the day of your scheduled dog walk or drop in visit then I will be bringing along my little girl. If this is a problem (if your dog doesn’t like children) then please let no and we can reschedule. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I have lots of experience with key holding. I aim to leave your house exactly as I found it, I will remove my shoes before entering and I can clean up any mess your pet has made. Making sure that your pet is happy and satisfied is my main goal.
