Lauren has been a wonderful catsitter for our older gentleman cat, Mambo. She’s attentive, super-organised, obviously very experienced with cats, and excellent with communication. She has sent lovely photos of Mambo each day and could absolutely find a career in pet photography! We highly recommend Lauren for catsitting - thanks so much to her and to Rover! 🐾

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and I am hoping to work with animals as a full time job in the future. I recently completed my level 3 Animal Management qualification at college and am going to be starting university in September to study Veterinary Physiotherapy, so that I can achieve my dream of helping animals. I have previous work experience at the RSPCA looking after a range of dog breeds, including larger breeds like Huskies and Cane Corsos as well as small breeds like Chihuahuas and Terriers. During this experience, I have helped to walk dogs, clean out kennels, feed and play with dogs. I have also gained experience working with cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals at the RSPCA. I currently have a dog, who is a springer spaniel x poodle called Doodle, and a cat, called Pancake. I spend much of my free time taking Doodle on walks and playing and cuddling with her and Pancake whenever they want to. I have also on many occasions looked after pets of friends and family, including labradors, spaniels, jack russells, beagles, cats and rabbits. I am currently a student and am at college 3 days per week. I typically have full availability on weekends and am usually free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as most evenings. The safety of your pets will always be my number one priority and I will ensure that I keep an eye on them so that they are safe and happy. I will listen to, follow and respect any rules or boundaries that you have when looking after your pets to keep both you and your pets happy and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic! Stacey-Leigh took incredibly good care of my cat, and I couldn't be happier. She sent detailed updates each time she visited, with loads of photos, and even a video which was lovely for my girlfriend and I while we were on holiday. I could not recommend her highly enough, and I will definitely be using her again!

With a strong background in animal health and wellbeing, I’m confident in administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. About: I've grown up with all breeds of dogs from springers to Shiba Inus. My first job as a teenager was walking my neighbour's dogs. I currently have my own 3 year old springer fur-baby who is dog-friendly. With having a springer, I have worked trainers and behaviourists so am clued up on training and behavioural issues. I have also fostered for a spaniel charity so have experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I currently work full-time so have weekends available. However, I work remotely and having some flexibility so can pick boarders up during the day if needed before an overnight stay. I have a walled, grass garden with secure padlocked gate. Dogs have free range of the downstairs and have crate available if needed. WIth having a resident dog, the house is "dog-proofed", with high risk foods stored away. I live on a quiet estate away from busy traffic.

About: I am an animal lover who is home all day in Witchford and who is able to provide a lot of love and attention to your pet. I looked after many pets on Rover when we lived in the USA and now I am starting again in England. I have a Boston Terrier called Poppy who I take out 2 times a day for walks already and who would love to make new friends and play. I grew up with dogs as a child in Sri Lanka, previously having a Dachshund and a Dalmatian. I like to train my puppy to sit, stay and come and to keep her clean with a bath once a week. My husband is also a dog lover who has had a Golden Retriever and a Jack Russel in the past and who will add extra love and car to your pet care experience! We have a 2 year old daughter who loves animals as well but we request that your pet also likes and is experienced with children. Poppy is also fine with cats and we have looked after cats before I am not working currently so can focus on your pet’s care. I am flexible in terms of drop off and pick up and I can walk the dog twice a day I have a big house with a fenced garden that your pet can run around and play in. Our village is very quiet and safe

About: I've grown up in a household with multiple dogs and cats and I am a very passionate animal lover. I have an array of experience training dogs, from starting to train my 1st dog a Blue Merle Collie when I was 3 years old, to recently training my friends Sausage dog. My friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to walk & feed their pets. I have taken care of puppies and kittens, but have slightly more experience with senior dogs and cats. I work part-time so have time for lots of cuddles and care for your pet(s). I can do weekdays and some weekends and I am pretty flexible. I will care for your pet how you see fit in your own home. I think it's important for animals to have safety and comfort to keep them happy and content

My cat, Phoebe has clearly loved having Fiona’s company while I was away. She was very content and relaxed when I got back. Fiona is so easy to get on with, professional and caring. She sent photos of my cat to keep my mind at rest while I was away and even bought more treats for her! I am very grateful and would highly recommend Fiona.

About: I've always been a person who loves animals, I'm coursing Veterinary physiotherapy and I'm looking to be surroun of animals and have my own dog one day. I've been watching my close friends' dogs when they had to go away for 1 week. with lots of love , games and free time . I already had a black labrador which was the best dog I ever had. Also many of another owners left the dogs with me.… I am currently working part-time and studying, I will have plenty of time to look after, walk and play with your dog. I live in a room so can't board animals 😢. Send me a message and I would love to meet you 🥰 I am working part-time, so I will have plenty of time and breaks to walk with your dogs, make different games, give right nutrition and cuddle. I always check if the dogs have any allergies, and what they are allowed do to in their own place. Also, check the perimeters in case of any danger.

Amanda is an absolute star and an amazing cat sitter. She managed to look after our cat last minute due to a family emergency and had to travel leaving our kitty home alone 🥺 but Amanda came to the rescue, managed to fit a pre-visit, and even though our cat is quite shy, she managed to win him over! The chicken treats helped 😋😋 We got lots of photos and videos and daily updates. Exactly what we needed especially when already going through a tough time, it was so comforting to see our little kitty everyday. Thanks again Amanda 🐈‍⬛😊

We were really happy with how our cat was looked after. Saskia was reliable, popped round before our holiday to ask about all our cat’s little habits and preferences, which was lovely. While we were away, she sent updates after every visit so we always knew how our furry troublemaker was doing. Our cat isn’t usually very social or trusting, but she clearly loved Saskia.

There are 448 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in East Cambridgeshire. About 93% of East Cambridgeshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
