“We were really pleased to find Marta. She came to meet us before looking after our cat whilst we were away. Super reliable and polite. Would definitely recommend and we’ll use Marta again.”

“Really happy with the pet sitting. The cats are all happy and it was great to get pictures of them. Great communication from Alix when there was an unexpected issue with one of the guinea pigs. Would highly recommend Alix”

“Would highly recommend Katie! She was so good with my 2 kittens. They can be abit timid with certain people especially those they don't know. But with Katie they seemed to be super comfortable. I got daily updates and photos to make me feel more at ease about being away. Thanks again ☺️”

“Amy is the most TRUSTWORTHY dog sitter I’ve hired! She was dog focused, attentive to all their needs, on schedule and properly fed the dogs every visit. When I got home from my trip, the pups acted as if I had never even left-which is a definite first. They were very cared for. Every visit I received photos and communications on their current state which was such a comfort being so far away from them. I only recommend Amy for dog sitting! It’s hard to find such an attentive dog sitter and she gets the job done every time!”

About: I’ve looked after dogs and cats since I was a child, for friends, family and neighbours. I often feed and check in on neighbours pets when they are away on holiday. Administering medication if needed. I will look after your pets as if they were my own! I currently work full time Monday to Friday, I am free weekends and some evenings depending on other commitments. I have pets of my own so I am not able to facilitate sitting pets in my own home, however I am open to pet sitting at your home. I will happily sit for your pets with clear instructions on what is expected of me and if any specific food, or medication is needed.
About: I’m a 33 year old female living in a flat in Bury St Edmunds. I have a marketing job with 9-5:30 flexible hours and I’m currently working from home and free on the weekends. In my spare time I love to go out on long walks & adventures and enjoy them so much better with a dog. I don’t have a dog myself but I have house sat and boarded a range of gorgeous different types of dog on this app and we had great walks together to different parks. I’d love to help people in the area with walks or boarding / looking after their dog whenever needed :). I’d be so excited to look after anyone’s animal/s in general and to help anyone out :). I’m very independent and live by myself but I am very close to my parents in south Cambridge where we all love to go on walks together too. Please message me if you would like to know anything more or require any further information :). I work from home so I am able to offer daycare during these times and I also offer boarding and house sitting. My partner Laurie also likes to help out and is usually around when I board dogs at my place. He enjoys joining us for walks and playing with the dogs. For house sitting Laurie will also join me so your pets get all the extra attention and love. We are always happy to come by for a meet up/ introduction beforehand so you get to meet us both. I have a shared garden for regular smaller walk/ toilet breaks but during your dogs stay I will also venture out for longer walks. I’ll make sure your dog gets all the exercise, love & attention they need! Please note that I do live in a flat/apartment where there are always neighbours coming/going at different times in the area. I am aware that sometimes seeing/hearing strangers can make a dog anxious/ bark a lot. Please consider this before booking :) many thanks. Pet care fits into my routine easily, as I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give dogs the attention, walks, and care they need throughout the day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment by following each pet’s routine, keeping spaces secure, and always treating them with patience and kindness. Whether in my home or the owner’s, I maintain trust by respecting their rules, providing updates, and ensuring the pets feel comfortable and cared for.
About: Hi, I’m Nicole! 🐾 As a lifelong dog lover and proud corgi and blue heeler mom, I know firsthand how much our pets mean to us. Whether it’s daily walks, or just needing some playtime. I provide dependable, loving attention that helps your pet feel safe and happy while you’re away. With a background in caregiving and years of experience in both pet and people care, you can trust that your pets are in responsible, compassionate hands. I love the beautiful scenery we get here in England, and happy to keep your pups active lifestyle up while you’re away. I am a stay-at-home mom who is free during the day while my child is at school. I have a completely open schedule— so I can care for your animals multiple times a day and give them adequate attention. I will always make sure your pup is safe while on a walk, by having their leash and making sure their collars and tags are there every time.

About: 🐾 Welcome to Alchemise Pet Care Hi, I’m Samantha — a council-licensed home boarder and day care provider in Bury St Edmunds. Boarding here takes place in a calm family home with small numbers, not a kennel or busy commercial unit. Dogs are treated as part of daily life, with enrichment, supervision, rest, companionship and routine throughout the day. As a licensed boarder, I meet strict welfare, safety and environmental standards and am inspected by the council. I am trained in canine care and first aid, DBS checked and fully insured. Dogs here are genuinely treated as family, not “accommodated.” Comfort, welfare and wellbeing come first. 🌿 What Your Dog Receives Here Dogs staying at Alchemise benefit from: ✓ a real home environment ✓ small numbers only (licensed capacity) ✓ individual attention ✓ enrichment & mental stimulation ✓ walks tailored to age/ability ✓ secure garden access throughout the day ✓ rest periods & calm time ✓ predictable routines ✓ companionship from resident dogs ✓ supervision and observation ✓ comfortable sleeping spaces (no crates unless requested) Enrichment varies by dog and may include: • puzzles & food games • sensory activities • sandpit & digging opportunities • chews & lick mats • problem-solving games • calm interaction & grooming • outdoor sniffing & exploration Many dogs — especially small, elderly, anxious or routine-oriented dogs — settle best in an environment like this where they are seen as individuals rather than part of a large pack. 🏡 The Environment The home has been intentionally set up for welfare and comfort and includes: • air conditioning in summer • safe heating in winter • cooling/heating mats • access to sofas and beds (if permitted) • a fully secure, double-gated 6ft fenced garden • quiet indoor rest spaces • enrichment throughout the home Dogs are not left alone for extended periods, and supervision is structured around their needs. 🐶 Resident Dogs There are three friendly resident dogs: • Louie – elderly, takes life slowly and enjoys his own calm space • Poppy – terrier mix, barks initially then settles and coexists quietly • Ollie – young small dog who enjoys gentle play with willing dogs Calmer dogs are given space; playful dogs are matched appropriately. 📋 How Boarding Works To ensure the right fit for every dog, boarding follows a simple onboarding process: Meet & Greet (garden, ~20 minutes) Trial Night (required for first stays over 2 nights) Paperwork (licensing requirement) Confirmed Booking This approach supports welfare, consistency and successful settling. 🌱 1. Meet & Greet Held in the garden to keep things calm and to avoid disrupting dogs already staying. Owners do not enter the home during drop-offs/collections; indoor spaces are introduced to the dog during the trial once settled. 🌙 2. Trial Night A 1 night trial allows your dog to: • explore the home • settle without pressure • sleep overnight • experience routine • co-exist with residents • separate calmly from owner During this time I observe: ✓ settling & sleep ✓ toileting ✓ eating/medication ✓ separation tolerance ✓ stress indicators ✓ social compatibility If suitable, future bookings do not require repeat trials unless needs change. If not suitable, I will explain sensitively and suggest appropriate alternatives — wellbeing comes first. ✍️ 3. Paperwork (Licensing Requirement) You’ll receive a short pack requesting: ✓ vet & emergency contacts ✓ vaccination proof ✓ feeding/medication routines ✓ behaviour info ✓ consent ✓ owner details Once completed and payment received, the booking is secured. 🤝 What I Ask From Owners To support a calm environment: • arrive on time • keep drop-offs brief • provide accurate behaviour/medical info • provide enough food (plus extra) • label medication clearly • inform me of changes (diet, heat, illness, behaviour) Small steps make a big difference to how dogs settle. 🚫 Not Suitable For To maintain safety & welfare, I do not accept: ✖ dog- or human-aggressive dogs ✖ severe separation anxiety ✖ unvaccinated dogs ✖ flea/tick infestations ✖ bitches in season ✖ persistent indoor marking ✖ high-energy working breeds This helps keep the environment regulated, calm and consistent. 🩺 Medication & Emergency Protocol Medication can be administered as instructed. In an emergency, your registered vet will be contacted first; if unavailable, I will use my local emergency vet. Welfare is always the priority. 🎒 Packing List Please provide: ✓ food for full stay + extra ✓ medication (labelled) ✓ collar/harness & lead ✓ comfort item and toys I am a licensed home dog boarder - this is my profession. I am at home almost all of the time, barring essential appointments and occasional commitments. I require information about your dog prior to boarding or day care, so I can know their needs and follow their routines. I require emergency contacts and proof of vaccination.

“Really happy with Mandy’s care of my two house cats. They were completely content when I arrived home, and had clearly been looked after very well. Mandy kept in touch with me to let me know how they were doing and that they were happily eating and drinking. Very happy with her care. She also kept the house neat and tidy. Thanks again Mandy!”
About: I've grown up in a household with multiple dogs and cats and I am a very passionate animal lover. I have an array of experience training dogs, from starting to train my 1st dog a Blue Merle Collie when I was 3 years old, to recently training my friends Sausage dog.
