This was the second time Grace has looked after my cats. As before, she was efficient and friendly. Even my shy cat Arthur put in an appearance and she sent me photographic evidence to prove it. 😸

Jenni was absolutely amazing with my two little Cats Rory and Peggy. I felt so happy to receive little pictures and videos of them both and know that they were being spoilt and cuddled! Thank you Jenni so much and especially thank you for looking after our very shy cat Peggy and making sure she was still fed! X

Jane was really good and great with our dogs. She left plenty of information and photos during the check-ins. Made sure she played with them and sat with them too. Very happy would definitely recommend her. Thanks Jane!

Michaela was absolutely wonderful. She’s incredibly kind and warm, and our kittens took to her immediately which says everything. Her attention to detail was spot on; she followed all instructions perfectly and checked in regularly with thoughtful updates. If she was ever unsure about anything, she asked rather than guessing, which we really appreciated. We also came home to a spotless house, exactly as we left it... which, with two kittens, is no small feat. On top of all that, she’s genuinely easy to talk to and very reassuring. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would recommend her without reservation.

About: I currently work full time in retail so I am around mornings and evenings. I also have Wednesdays off during the week when I am available I currently have two cats at home so I would not offer boarding for cats as I’m not sure mine would like it very much but I am more than willing to look after cats in their own environment. I have had experience looking after family cats; feeding, grooming, play, even walks in pet strollers.

About: I’ve owned household pets (such as dogs, cats, rabbits and even parrots) my entire life. I run a small livery yard. I’m also a qualified equine and canine sports massage therapist. I’m currently qualifying as a human sports massage therapist after being made redundant from my corporate job in January, so my days are very flexible currently. I attend to my cats, horses and donkeys daily. I have two cats at my home but at my parents house, we have 3 friendly dogs (two Scottie’s and a spaniel). We have a large fenced garden as well as 7 acres of fenced paddocks for the dogs to run and play in.

Really happy with Mia looking after our two cats. One can disappear for a couple of days at a time but she managed to get her in every day while we were away. Daily photo updates too! We'll definitely ask her again!

About: I love all animals, and will treat them with the love and care I'd want for my best friend (Lottie, golden doodle/golden oldie). I grew up with dogs - mostly spaniels, and my human baby is being raised a dog (and animal) lover too! My family is me, my wife, our baby, a dog (Lottie, my bestie), and a tortoise (mushroom) 🍄 🐢 I joined Rover to support my family flexibly around childcare and other work (looking after children). We've had pets before with medical needs like an FIV+ cat, dogs that need physio etc. We've also had and looked after exotic pets like bearded dragons, leopard geckos and snakes. I love all animals, big or small - including rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish etc. I've also had a long career looking after children and vulnerable people with varying needs - so I hope this shows that I'm compassionate, caring and trustworthy. I'm looking to fill my life with things I love, like hanging out with animals, my family and candle making! For boarding, please make sure you're happy for your pet to stay with the rest of my family. For some walks I might bring my little one and/or Lottie fluff ball - but I'd check that's okay with you first 😊 Please let me know if you have any questions about me, my experience or my family. Thank you for trusting me to take care of your fur-baby (or scaley, finned or otherwise)! I've recently become a Dad to a lovely little baby who already gets so excited when he sees dogs or plays ball with them. I've also started a hand-made candle company. So, I'm quite flexible with hours as I go out with my baby and my dog at any time of day. I'm also happy to do solo walks if you prefer, just let me know! For walkies: Christchurch park is one of our favourite walks. We also love Holywells, Bourne park, the Dales, and Bramford Meadows. I can take your dog(s) in the car if you have appropriate harnesses - or we have ones you can borrow (for medium size dogs). Or we can just go for a local stroll. Let me know if you'd be happy for me to walk your dog with my dog and/or human baby - or if they'd prefer a solo walk 👣🐾 For sitting: I will always treat your home with respect, like taking my shoes off and making sure windows and doors are locked when I leave. I'll follow any and all rules of how you'd like me to look after your pet and/or home. For boarding: We have a long, good-sized garden that is fenced. Lottie has a lot of dog toys that she's happy to share. We have a tortoise, dog and human baby - so your pet will have to be comfortable with that. P.s. We make home made snacks for dogs - like dried liver. Please let me know if your dog has any dietary requirements

Lucy looked after our cat Lilith for a weekend. We were able to meet with Lucy before the sit, which was helpful and put our minds at ease. Lucy was communicative during the sit, followed the intructions accurately, sent us photo updates, and left the house in great condition for us to come back to. I was confident leaving Lilith with Lucy and would definitely recommend this sitter.

Charlotte was brilliant and so wonderful with Rusty, it was the first time we have left him and had someone come in to see him and let him out. Even though he was a little nervous Charlotte communicated with me straight away and encouraged him gently out into the garden for a wee and a play. Charlotte communicated with me the whole time she was with Rusty and really reassured me that he was okay! Thank you for being so lovely and brilliant with Rusty

Tania has been the most amazing cat sitter over the last couple of weeks. Words can't explain how grateful I am for her care and attention towards Mango. We arranged a meet and greet and everything clicked right away. Tania has been incredibly friendly and reliable. She has been accommodating to all of my requests, even those that were made at short notice. I highly recommend Tania and look forward to working with her again soon.

Bury St Edmunds, IP33

About: I’m a 33 year old female living in a flat in Bury St Edmunds. I have a marketing job with 9-5:30 flexible hours and I’m currently working from home and free on the weekends. In my spare time I love to go out on long walks & adventures and enjoy them so much better with a dog. I don’t have a dog myself but I have house sat and boarded a range of gorgeous different types of dog on this app and we had great walks together to different parks. I’d love to help people in the area with walks or boarding / looking after their dog whenever needed :). I’d be so excited to look after anyone’s animal/s in general and to help anyone out :). I’m very independent and live by myself but I am very close to my parents in south Cambridge where we all love to go on walks together too. Please message me if you would like to know anything more or require any further information :). I work from home so I am able to offer daycare during these times and I also offer boarding and house sitting. My partner Laurie also likes to help out and is usually around when I board dogs at my place. He enjoys joining us for walks and playing with the dogs. For house sitting Laurie will also join me so your pets get all the extra attention and love. We are always happy to come by for a meet up/ introduction beforehand so you get to meet us both. I have a shared garden for regular smaller walk/ toilet breaks but during your dogs stay I will also venture out for longer walks. I’ll make sure your dog gets all the exercise, love & attention they need! Please note that I do live in a flat/apartment where there are always neighbours coming/going at different times in the area. I am aware that sometimes seeing/hearing strangers can make a dog anxious/ bark a lot. Please consider this before booking :) many thanks. Pet care fits into my routine easily, as I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give dogs the attention, walks, and care they need throughout the day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment by following each pet’s routine, keeping spaces secure, and always treating them with patience and kindness. Whether in my home or the owner’s, I maintain trust by respecting their rules, providing updates, and ensuring the pets feel comfortable and cared for.
