About: I’ve had pets since I was born and started to help care for them at an early age. Throughout my life I have owned 5 cats and 4 dogs, raising all but one as puppies and kittens. After graduating from university I worked at my local human society as an Animal Care Associate and eventually moved up to the Animal Care Supervisor. During this time I also fostered undersocialized (feral) cats & kittens and some puppies with behavior issues. After moving I volunteered at another animal shelter in their behavior department, usually helping assess what each individual dog needed most to aid in their adoption (socialization, training, exercise or cuddles). I eventually became a volunteer trainer for new volunteers in that department. I don’t currently have any pets, but miss interacting with them. I don’t currently work and both of my children are in school so I have open availability during weekdays. I have some flexibility during term breaks, in the evenings and weekends when my husband is home. Having owned some mischievous pets I ensure I arrive and leave the home safely with all doors, gates and windows secured. I am happy to crate animals if needed.

“Brooke is a family friend who I had pop in to feed and walk my dog George whilst I was away on a family holiday. she was good at keeping track of time for feeding and letting him out for the toilet and very accommodating for George’s needs being a senior dog! She’s very bubbly and you can tell she cares about your dogs well being.”

“Chelsea has provided regular care and walks for our two dogs, a miniature schnauzer and a Jack Russell for the last three years. The schnauzer, Fred, can only be walked on a lead as he becomes distressed and barks a lot around other dogs. He isn’t easy to look after but Chelsea has a caring patient way about her that makes him secure. The Jack Russell: Fryday, likes nothing better than digging holes and eating mice and rats. Again, not the easiest of dogs to care for. Chelsea takes it all in her happy stride as she walks them both through fields, into woods and along river banks until their legs are tired, hearts full of joy and little canine minds full of wonderful adventures that they curl up and dream about!”

She never hesitated when it came to changing her litter tray when needed and as she was an elderly cat with ailments, karen would monitor her health. With my cat being so frail it was difficult for me to leave her but Karen had my full trust and I always came home to a happy well cared for cat. I Would very highly recommend her.”

About: I have worked for more than 5 years administering veterinarians as well as being a veterinary assistant as well, I have experience doing grooming and I am also very good at caring for sick dogs or dogs with special needs. I have had dogs all my life, I help stray dog organizations and I am an animal rescuer, I am very good at caring for animals and I put a lot of passion and love into it. My schedule is adapted to the needs of pets since I plan to make Rover my full-time job, since animals are what makes me the most happy in the world. I live very close to the river and a forest so I can take your dog to these places to go for a walk or play and he will have a lot of fun. If your dog is nervous or doesn't like being with other animals or prefers to just rest, he will be fine with me since I will adapt to the needs of your pet..

About: Throughout my life I’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after the two dogs my family have had in my life (Douglas and Lola) - I have always been tasked with the walking, feeding and sometimes even grooming of my furry friends, so I am very capable in doing the same for you! In addition to this I’ve looked after my girlfriends dog on many occasions when she has been away with her family on holiday and of course met all requirements needed. I trained one of my families dogs up since a young age and she was very obedient and friendly after so if you need something similar I’m always here! I am also very flexible in terms of my schedule and for the most part can fit around whatever you need!!! I’m currently taking a gap year after just recently finishing my A-Levels at sixth form, and I am looking for a role such as this to keep my account at a stable balance - I also intend on going on holidays for next summer so need to raise funds for that - other than this role I have no other job to worry about so this could take up all my time! I have a fenced in garden which would have plenty of room for your furry friends to play in!! In Addition to this there is a great route for walking from my house down into the town centre! If I happen to be in your home I will of course be respectful of where I am and ensure nothing is damaged or anything of the sort and on top of this I will make sure your furry friend is always getting the best care and the most attention possible!
