About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends over the past 15 years, I have owned several Labradors throughout my life growing up, and I now have my own dachshund Dougie who I enjoy taking for walks and caring for. I am an animal lover and have experience looking after horses, dogs and cats. I have pet sat and dog walked for family and friends several times in the past year, and would love the opportunity to take care of your pets. I enjoy spending time outside and walking in the countryside, I have a flexible job as a freelance makeup artist which means I have flexible availability and can be available at short notice. Due to still taking work bookings during pet sitting jobs I would need to be able to leave your pet for a few hours on some occasions, an animal needing constant supervision would not be suitable unfortunately. I’m currently working freelance and can be available at weekends, daytime, evenings and overnight stays with short notice. My work means I can be flexible and will only be unavailable for a few hours a day at some cases. I can come to your house and look after your pet in its own environment, I think that keeping a pet at home is the best possible way of caring for them. This means they will be familiar with their surroundings and will not need to travel.
2. Laura E.
“Excellent sitter! We booked Laura for 4 morning and evening drop-ins for our two indoor cats. Laura came over and met the cats prior to looking after them and was really friendly and very keen to learn how to care for them. Whilst we were away she texted me each time she arrived to the house and told us about what they had been up to which was really reassuring. She also sent lots of photos and videos of them playing which was amazing. We are very happy with how they were looked after, fed promptly, water changed, litter boxes cleaned as requested and had play time. She was very polite and professional. We are looking forward to having her look after the cats again!”
3. Sigourney K.
“Good updates on my cat other than a couple of days not giving details of whether they ate their food or not. Brilliant to have Sigourney visit & spend half hour with Juni so that she didn't feel quite so abandoned.”
4. Serena L.
“Serena was great. Came round to meet us the night before, dealt brilliantly with our slightly nervy rescue dog and our shonky old house, and did exactly what was needed! Thanks Serena”
5. Melissa F.
About: I have had many dogs, in my opinion, a home is not a home without at least 1 dog! I have experience with puppies and with golden oldies, and we have a rescue from Macedonia, so I now have experience with rescues and introducing to the home with a resident dog in place. I am a mobile Holistic Therapist, and also have a part-time seasonal job on a Monday and Friday. My therapy clients I would look to fit in around my petcare duties and on a Mon/Fri then pet care would need to be early mornings or after 5pm from beginning April until end October. At home I have a fenced in garden, and live in a village so walks are rural. My car is a BMW estate, so plenty of boot room. In your own home, I would follow your rules, as it is your home, and the dogs own territory.

“It has been a lovely experience having Allie care for our cat Lucy while we were away. She dropped in around the same time every day, providing lovely consistency for our cat. She sent a nice update with pictures included which gave us peace of mind. Allie is friendly and sweet in person, and made sure our cat got a nice fuss, groom and a cuddle on top of keeping her fed and watered. Thank you so much, Allie!”

About: I had an old German Shepard for 4 years who I would take on slow, long walks on and off lead around towns and fields. I walked my boyfriends dog Otto who is a German wirehaired pointer along a river for 4 miles every weekend, he was a large dog with lots of energy. I now have a German wire haired pointer called Tucker who is 2 and was a rescue, I bonded with him very quickly even though he was quite reactive and nervous initially, now I walk him on lead frequently. I also currently own two cats called Suki and Mother. I have lots of experiences with caring for pets and have some dog grooming experience. I am very good at catering to each dogs needs, such as the length of a walk and when they need water / breaks. I am happy to keep them on lead or take them to fields to run around depending on what the owner asks. I am currently working part time some days and some evenings so will be free most of summer until October for drop ins or dog walking. I currently cannot care for pets at my home due to my own cat. However I will be happy to cater to each Individual pets safety at their own home, I will be happy to keep an eye on them the entire time, and supervise them in the garden if that is your preference, or let them roam free making sure gates/ doors are locked.
