1. Sarah G.
“Sarah was absolutely brilliant, this was the first time we have left Bella and she loved every minute! Sarah kept us informed how Bella was getting on and sent us many photos so we could see how much fun and relaxed she was on her holiday! Would recommended her to anyone, fantastic and very caring. Thank you Sarah 😀👍”
2. Emma W.
“Excellent care for our two retrievers, very understanding and caring about special needs. Great location in lovely countryside. Would highly recommend.”
3. Mark B.
“Really happy to leave our dog with Mark. He communicated before the stay and we agreed to meet up before hand. I could tell our dog was going to be happy with Mark who has a lovely home and garden. Mark was flexible when there was a mix up in the time for the drop off which I really appreciated. Mark also accommodated the raw food diet and crate for bed time. Mark provided daily updates during our dog's stay. This gave us comfort that our dog was having a great time, getting out and visiting local parks. A real staycation for him. Overall its not easy for us to leave our dog with someone new. But Mark was lovely. I would definitely recommend Mark to any dog owner.”
4. Susanna L.
“Susanna was amazing, we will definitely use her again! Thanks so much for looking after Laika so well x”
5. Andrew C.
“Andrew was brilliant. Rory settled in immediately. This was his first visit. We were down from Scotland visiting friends and family. We were sent lots of updates, videos and pictures. Rory returned very contented. We will definitely ask Andrew again when we are in the area. Thank you so much.”
6. Charlee H.
“Thank you Charlee for looking after our Toby whilst we went away in December. Knowing he was inside in the warm rather than in kennels particularly with the weather was reassuring and meant we could relax & enjoy our holiday. Thanks for providing the pictures which were reassuring and we could see Toby enjoyed all the attention you gave him. Short of being with us it was the best experience we could give him and we will ask if you can look after him again next time we all go on holiday. Thanks again”
7. Emily D.
“Emily and her lovely family are very welcoming and have really helped Dexter to settle in their home, also their dog George is very friendly. We are very happy for Dexter to spend more time at Emily’s, he is getting more relaxed, which is reassuring for us as he can be quite anxious at times.”
8. Jade F.
“I am more than happy to give Rover.com a testimonial for Jade and straight away want to praise Jade for dog sitting, walking and caring for our Labrador Winston. It goes without saying that Jade has immeasurable compassion for animals, especially dogs. Jade has always been loving, kind-hearted and trustworthy with our Winston and has gone the extra mile on numerous occasions, plus has enormous patience! I like to reiterate Jade has been a reliable, extremely efficient, devoted and a loving dog sitter. All in all a charming and honest young lady who always strives to do her very best. I wish her all the very best with the Rover.com family.”
9. Vanessa S.

10. Mark F.
“We have come home from holiday to a really relaxed and very happy cockapoo. Charlie had a great time staying with Mark and Karen with lots of nice walks and the company of Mark’s own dog with whom he has become best friends. I can’t thank Mark and Karen enough for the care and attention that Charlie received whilst he was staying with them, and for the daily updates and pictures they gave us whilst we were away. They definitely provided Charlie a real “home from home” and we have had no hesitation in asking Mark to allow Charlie to stay again when we go away for a further trip in September.”
11. Rachel S.
“It was amazing to keep my Bex with Rachel. She gave regular updates and also took excellent care of him. Seeing his pics everyday made me comfortable and allowed me to enjoy my holiday with peace of mind.”
12. Marc W.
“This was our first experience using Rover, so we were a little apprehensive at first. Marc has been amazing! Great service, we hope to use Marc again 😁”

17. Chris T.
“My dog HunkyDory had a very enjoyable stay with Chris. She was even allowed to sleep on his bed which she doesn't do at home! He was very good with her and took her for lovely walks around Needham Lake. We would definitely use him again.”
18. Marc D.
“A big thank you Marc for looking after my dog Branston, I have been very pleased with the love care and attention you and Sharon have shown him. It was a big bonus to see him play so well with your dogs and to receive pictures/videos and messages of him was very comforting.”
19. Leila K.
“We were very impressed with how Leila looked after our dog Poppy - it was obvious from the start that she was good with dogs and Poppy responded to Leila immediately. What we were really impressed was the fact that Leila showed initiative regarding a problem she had observantly noticed while look after Poppy - and kept us updated throughout the day and offered to sort out the problem for us - for which we are really grateful for. We will definitely ask Leila again to look after Poppy and recommend her to our friends and family”

About: IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO HOLD AN ANIMAL WELFARE LICENCE. I am one of few providers on that list. You will see Paws for Holiday listed on there with licence number AWL0017, under my married name, I am listed on here in my maiden name. I haven;t changed my passport name. Member of Dog Law SOS, ensuring the safety of your pet is my priority. I grew up surrounded by pets, dogs (westies), cats, birds, rabbits, rats, mice and tortoises! Blame my mum for my rescue world obsession. I went on to run my own rescue; fostering and assessing over 300 dogs as well as other pets. I’ve owned both small and large breeds. I have some dog training background from volunteering with a behaviourist, re-certified first aid and CPR May 2024. 4 * Local authority licensed AWL0017. DBS checked. Protectivity insured. I only accept one household booking at a time. I offer a complete home from home experience to family friendly pets. Pets are welcome to lay on the sofa, lay on the bed, they have their own sofabed for those that struggle to sleep alone at night (I’ve slept with many in my arms over the years). I want your furry family to feel at home here. We are an animal crazy family with one adult always working from home, we have back ups should both of us not be around for more than an hour and they are included on my insurance. My children have grown up surrounded by pets and I returned to fostering when they were 6 years old. They’re now 10 & 11 and very dog savvy. The 10 year old loves nothing more than having his face and ears washed by dogs I have included photos of dogs that I’ve boarded, fostered and our own dogs. I have a fenced in garden with a locked gate and 6ft high fence. The driveway and garden are covered by security cameras. We have two friendly resident dogs female cockerpoo 18 month spayed, male cocker 30 months neutered. The dogs are allowed free rein of the house if they want a cuddle on the sofa or bed then so be it. The male is regularly found in my son’s bedroom curled up with him and foster dogs are often found rolling around on our bed. I like a dog to feel at home! The dogs have a variety of different walks depending on the day and weather. We are one household at a time so for us it’s about having the best time with your pets rather than being in it for £££.
