About: I’m a huge dog lover with over 4 years of experience caring for my two dogs since puppies and I also volunteer with a dog rescue, so dogs really are a massive part of my life! Having two dogs myself, I know how difficult and stressful it can be finding someone you trust to look after them, which is why I’m here to help! I’m a proud mum to my daughter, a huge cuddler, and I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy and loved while they’re with me. Every dog in my care will be treated just like one of my own and I promise to send you updates so you feel at ease leaving them with me❤️ I’m currently on maternity leave, which means I’m around most of the time and can be really flexible with times, including those last minute plans! 🐾 In the New Year, I’ll be returning to full time work, but I’ll only be in the office 2 days a week and working from home the rest. Your dog will never be left uncared for. Me and my two cockapoos are always ready for walks, playtime or, most importantly, cuddles!❤️🐶 Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first! I have a fully enclosed garden with 6ft fencing, giving your dog plenty of safe space to play and explore. I also have two friendly cockapoos who absolutely love to play and will be more than happy to keep your dog company! Inside, I have a baby gate so dogs can be safely separated when needed. Dogs will have access to downstairs and will only go upstairs when accompanied by me, so I always know where they are and what they’re up to. I’m more than happy to take your dog out for walks during their stay. For their safety and your peace of mind, any dog in my care will always be kept on a lead when out on normal walks, regardless of how good their recall is. I also regularly hire a fully enclosed private dog field, where they can safely come off the lead, have a proper run around and play with my two! And of course… treats are never far away😂 I always have treats to hand, but if your dog has a favourite brand, allergies or specific dietary requirements, please bring their usual treats along so I can keep everything familiar and safe🩷
“Adele is a fantastic dog sitter. I left our Bessie with her for 2 nights and I can honestly say any worries I had about leaving her with someone else for the first time were removed straight away. She did everything I asked of her and beyond. Her lovely family and disband may sure Bessie was not anxious, had the run of the house and played for hours with her son. All I can say is if you want your dog looked after well whilst you’re away then you need to leave them with Adele. Thank you for the photos and updates and Bessie will be staying with you again when we need to go away.”
“Tanna and her partner have been absolutely incredible with our Golden Retriever Jackson! They boarded him for a week and looked after him in the first few days when he was sick (he had an upset tummy and vomiting because as a side effect of the deworming tablets we gave him). “Debbie had our dog Harley for one night. Prior to having him we met her at her house and had a good chat about Harley’s food, sleep, walks etc. he really took to both her and her husband, they are genuinely lovely people and really want to take care of the dogs they are looking after. A few weeks later Harley went to see Debbie for an hour and we left him to see how he would be, he was very settled and Debbie took the time to send a couple of pictures showing him chilled out. Subsequently I had no worries at all leaving him overnight. Debbie took really good care of him, sent a couple of pictures to reassure me and I think he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. About: Me and my partner have had dogs all our lives. We have had two dobermans and one rescue beagle cross. We still have one Doberman and the beagle within our family. We have two children age 5 and 7 who have been brought up with our dogs and our very dog savvy. We are experienced with big breeds and also small. Our dogs are treated like family, two walks a day we live in the country so field walks mainly, they are allowed in the house and on the sofa and if they can sneak on the bed they will try haha! There is always someone at home generally as I work from home part time so never left long period of time. Both our dogs love other dogs they have always been well socialised. I work two days from home and the other days I am around at home and you dogs will never be left for long periods of time. I have a large fenced garden which is secure. The fence is 1m high as we back onto fields and is gated at the side.

I have shampooed dogs groomed them and shaved them, cut nails. years experience working around conservation work with animals. This includes CPR first aid rescucitation. The photos she took were incredible — honestly like professional shots! We love them so much we’re planning to frame them. Leah was also incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout. She really went above and beyond to make Axel feel comfortable and settled, and even helped us out on pick-up by bringing him to the station, which made things so much easier for us. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, and Axel was treated with so much warmth and attention. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
