3. Graham K.
About: I'm Graham, 43 years of age Previously worked at a boarding kennels and at an emergency vets service as an auxiliary nurse, so have a history of dog care under my belt. Able to administer oral medication and trained in Pet CPR/Choking. I have 2 dogs of my own, Boycie (Springer Spaniel) & Jess (border collie) both are 9 years of age and friendly. I offer holiday cover having used this service for my own pets. Overnight stays, walks and general care to your specific requirements and day care as required. Walks can be tailored to your pet but I normally take my own for an hour around lunch time, this can be split into 2 half hour walks if requested. Happy to adjust to requirements. I work remotely so your pet will always have the company of a human throughout the entirety of the day as well as my two dogs for company. I only board 1 families pets at a time so your pooch(s) will have my undivided attention. Feeding times to your own/pets requirements to ensure the transition from normal home life to your dogs holiday with me. Your four legged friend can roam and sleep freely within the below mentioned areas with my own 2 at their leisure. I do have a 6yr old and 2 yr old twins who are fully accustomed to having pets around but they are generally playing on the 2nd floor, in high chairs or can be separated via retractable gates and stair gates if it suits yourselves better. I have a self contained garden which your pet can wander between along with 2 floors for them to explore to their comfort. The garden is sectioned into two areas, the area immediately outside the property door is patio for the dogs separated via a gated picket fence from my children's play area laid to artificial lawn with play equipment which is gated again to the rear at the property boundary. The internal area includes a large and spacious lounge/diner, kitchen and main bedroom/landing on the first floor. Top floor is out of bounds and separated via stair gates as my children occupy this floor. Plenty of walks in and around the village (Great Oakley) with it being a farming community there are lots of options to explore. Also within 5 minutes drive of the beach at Dovercourt and if you require off lead exercise but would prefer this in a contained environment there are multiple fully enclosed dog play companies within the village and surrounding areas which can be arranged at your request during your pets stay. I work from home so there is always someone at home to keep your little friend company. As well as my two Boycie & Jess. Your pet will be part of my family whilst in my care, with walks as requested, cuddles and pampering regularly throughout their stay with me.

“Another two happy doggies after an overnight stay. I was amazed to see my two dogs tails wag as we got out of the car and the pulled me straight to the correct house and front door all excited, they had only stayed once before and it was about three months ago - it was so reasuring to see them happy to return and spoke volumes to me of the standard of care they have been given. I so appreciated the getting up at ‘stupid o clock’ so i could drop them off early and catch my train. My dogs came home happy and tired.... wonderful! I highly recommend this warm couple”
