About: I have worked for more than 5 years administering veterinarians as well as being a veterinary assistant as well, I have experience doing grooming and I am also very good at caring for sick dogs or dogs with special needs. I have had dogs all my life, I help stray dog organizations and I am an animal rescuer, I am very good at caring for animals and I put a lot of passion and love into it. My schedule is adapted to the needs of pets since I plan to make Rover my full-time job, since animals are what makes me the most happy in the world. I live very close to the river and a forest so I can take your dog to these places to go for a walk or play and he will have a lot of fun. If your dog is nervous or doesn't like being with other animals or prefers to just rest, he will be fine with me since I will adapt to the needs of your pet..
About: Growing up around animals I have gained experience in loving for horses, dogs, cats, reptiles and many more! I currently own two lovely girl rats (Luna and CC) and a puppy Finn! I am keen to transfer my animal loving nature towards your furry (or otherwise) children! I have owned many dogs through my time around animals big and small, I will attach some pictures of my previous pups down below! In my early years I owned a lovely pony called Rio, which involved early mornings and late nights of TLC. I own my own vehicle as well as a range of dog seat belt sizes, so if your dog enjoys time at the beach or would just enjoy some new scenery I can accommodate that too! No ask is too much! I work part time Wednesday to Saturday 9-5:30 so anything before or after those hours works great! Monday, Tuesday and Sunday I am fully flexible for you! Due to me and partner having small animals in my home for your pets safety and theirs I am only able to pet sit over night in your home, or if your animal is okay being on their own, and you just need me to pop by for potty breaks, walks or feeding/medication, I can do that too!
About: Hello I am a mature and responsible pet sitter with considerable experience with small to medium sized dogs, old and young, located in Suffolk. I am fully insured with an Enhanced DBS on the update service, I am constantly updating my skills and have received Canine First Aid and Dog Behavioural Training. I spend a lot of time with the animals I care for particularly with companion dogs who are used to spending a lot of time with their owners. I love the countryside and like to take my dogs on interesting and adventurous walks suitable for their ability. I carry out extra household duties such as watering plants, putting bins out and any other specific duties my clients would like to care for their home whilst they are away. I have a background in property management and can react quickly if any unusual issues arise. I am primarily a part time book editor but I work from home so I can be flexible with my time. When I look after your home and pets, I do not walk or look after any other household. I like to spend nearly all my time with the dogs and take them out on trips with me. Pet sitting needs to be scheduled in advance. I can be available last minute for local sits and walks subject to availability. I am a loving House & Pet Sitter and care for animals in their own comfortable home environment. I prefer to meet both my clients and their pets beforehand so normally work within a reasonable driving distance, although I do have clients in London and Norfolk.
“It has been a lovely experience having Allie care for our cat Lucy while we were away. She dropped in around the same time every day, providing lovely consistency for our cat. She sent a nice update with pictures included which gave us peace of mind. Allie is friendly and sweet in person, and made sure our cat got a nice fuss, groom and a cuddle on top of keeping her fed and watered. Thank you so much, Allie!”

About: I love all animals, and will treat them with the love and care I'd want for my best friend (Lottie, golden doodle/golden oldie). I grew up with dogs - mostly spaniels, and my human baby is being raised a dog (and animal) lover too! My family is me, my wife, our baby, a dog (Lottie, my bestie), and a tortoise (mushroom) 🍄 🐢 I joined Rover to support my family flexibly around childcare and other work (looking after children). We've had pets before with medical needs like an FIV+ cat, dogs that need physio etc. We've also had and looked after exotic pets like bearded dragons, leopard geckos and snakes. I love all animals, big or small - including rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish etc. I've also had a long career looking after children and vulnerable people with varying needs - so I hope this shows that I'm compassionate, caring and trustworthy. I'm looking to fill my life with things I love, like hanging out with animals, my family and candle making! For boarding, please make sure you're happy for your pet to stay with the rest of my family. For some walks I might bring my little one and/or Lottie fluff ball - but I'd check that's okay with you first 😊 Please let me know if you have any questions about me, my experience or my family. Thank you for trusting me to take care of your fur-baby (or scaley, finned or otherwise)! I've recently become a Dad to a lovely little baby who already gets so excited when he sees dogs or plays ball with them. I've also started a hand-made candle company. So, I'm quite flexible with hours as I go out with my baby and my dog at any time of day. I'm also happy to do solo walks if you prefer, just let me know! For walkies: Christchurch park is one of our favourite walks. We also love Holywells, Bourne park, the Dales, and Bramford Meadows. I can take your dog(s) in the car if you have appropriate harnesses - or we have ones you can borrow (for medium size dogs). Or we can just go for a local stroll. Let me know if you'd be happy for me to walk your dog with my dog and/or human baby - or if they'd prefer a solo walk 👣🐾 For sitting: I will always treat your home with respect, like taking my shoes off and making sure windows and doors are locked when I leave. I'll follow any and all rules of how you'd like me to look after your pet and/or home. For boarding: We have a long, good-sized garden that is fenced. Lottie has a lot of dog toys that she's happy to share. We have a tortoise, dog and human baby - so your pet will have to be comfortable with that. P.s. We make home made snacks for dogs - like dried liver. Please let me know if your dog has any dietary requirements

About: I’m an experienced in-your-home pet and house-sitter (day and night) - which I enjoy and love to do at the same time! Read on to find out more about me and see if I’m a good match for you :) I’ve been lucky to have pets to love and care for all my life and having a pet is something I really miss (I can't have a pet of my own due to where I live). After taking early retirement I'm just not ready to slow down and this means I have loads of time and love to give to your pets! I find the love and affection from animals so rewarding which is why in the absence of my own I decided to become a pet-sitter - starting out with sitting for friends and family and expanding from there. I've always had dogs - and many other pets along the way like cats, rabbits, hamsters, budgies and lots of tropical fish! Two of my most beloved dogs were rescues. I've had Corgis, German Shepherds, Labradors and mixed breeds. I now have a delightful - and cheeky - Mini Dachshund “grand-pup”! I’ve cared for many dog breeds (Springers, Cockers, Lurchers, Bichon Frise, Mini Poodles, Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Collies, Podencos, Dachshunds and more!) and many with different needs - young, old, small, large, cross-breed, rescue, pedigree and those with medical conditions and special and / or senior needs. I’ve also looked after many cats (indoor and outdoor) and other pets. I’d love you to check out my photo gallery of my own precious pets and those that I’ve cared for. I have no work commitments but I do the occasional craft fair and enjoy visiting friends and family. I have lots of availability throughout the whole week. I offer pet sitting for the day, evenings and overnight. I’m an in-your-home pet-sitter, I will travel to you and look after your pet in your home - and also look after your home at the same time. I can ensure your dog gets lots of stimulation and movement within your home space and garden. I will never leave your dog alone in your home unless you specify that this is OK and normal for them. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your beloved pet and know very well how special and very unique the needs of pets can be - I want to reassure you there is no silly request or need I won’t understand. With lots of house-sitting under my belt, I pride myself in how I treat other’s homes and precious things like their pets and home security. I am happy to spend time introducing myself and getting to know you and your pets and to travel to you. “Charlotte was brilliant and so wonderful with Rusty, it was the first time we have left him and had someone come in to see him and let him out. Even though he was a little nervous Charlotte communicated with me straight away and encouraged him gently out into the garden for a wee and a play. Charlotte communicated with me the whole time she was with Rusty and really reassured me that he was okay! Thank you for being so lovely and brilliant with Rusty”

About: I’ve been raised around dogs my entire life and have experience with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My mum was a licensed 5-star dog breeder, and I spent years helping her with rearing puppies, daily care, socialization, feeding, cleaning, and handling dogs at all stages of life. This lifelong exposure has given me strong confidence, hands-on skills, and a deep understanding of dog behavior and needs. I’m calm, reliable, and comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. Dogs have always been part of my life, and I treat every one as if they were my own. I am currently the owner of two dogs, my pride and joy. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and couldn’t imagine a world without them. I’m very knowledgeable in almost all aspects of pet care, and I take great pride in providing safe, loving, and responsible care. Animals aren’t just a job to me — they’re a genuine passion, and I treat every pet I look after as if they were my own. I take care of my dogs at home and provide them with adequate potty breaks , mental stimulation, love and affection , just everything they need to feel happy and content . I would like to help others who cannot provide there dogs with enough mental stimulation and exercise .
“Lucy very kindly, at short notice and fair travel distance, did a 'drop in visit' for my puppy Henry. They went for a walk and had lunch, Henry was happy and had a lovely time! I'm sure Henry would be happy to rebook Lucy”

Suffolk Coastal pet owners share their Rover experiences
It's always stressful when going away and leaving your pets care in someone else's hands but I am so glad I found Nikki on Rover, she has looked after Luna on a couple of occasions now and the most recent booking ended up with me needing to add some extra days on as I was in a situation when away and needed to sort out new tyres for my car, which delayed my return home. Nikki was able to step in and help at short notice, which made a stressful situation so much less so. Thank you Nikki!
