“Dan has been looking after our dog whilst we’ve been away and I can honestly say he is spot on with listening to our requests and looking after our rescue dog Phoebe. As a rescue Phoebe is very wary of new people and Dan understood Phoebes needs from the beginning and she now trusts him completely. Dan has stayed at our house and leaves it immaculate and is very considerate. He has a trustworthy job and is also a good friend. I couldn’t recommend him enough!”

10. Michelle W.
About: I absolutely adore dogs & cats. Iv grown up with both all my life whether it be at my parents when I was younger or around one of my sisters and brothers dogs, I think they make great companions and definitely become apart of the family! I would have 10 dogs if I could lol but I just have the 1 at the moment but hopefully in the future I will have a few more but for the meantime hopefully I can walk and look after other people's and take care of them as a part time job. I think dogs are lovely animals and just a pleasure to be around!🐶❤️ I'm currently working 9 hours a week as a cleaner/housekeeper so can be flexible in the mornings and/or afternoons which ever suits, I'm available anytime on Mondays, Thursdays and weekends. We have a good sized back garden which is fenced and also a kitchen which we put our small dog in if needed. I have a decent size cage for small cats if needed.

11. Rebecca T.
About: I am a registered veterinary nurse who loves spending time with and looking after animals. I have 2 cats of my own and would love my own dog one day. I work full time but have Tuesdays, weekends and some evenings free for walking, drop in visits and social visits for dogs, cats and small furries. I am confident in handling cats, dogs and small furries of all sizes and temperaments, and can read animal body language well to know when a pet wants fuss and when they would prefer their own space.

12. Alys B.
“Alys loves dogs, she cared for and walked dogs of all shapes and sizes as a volunteer at the Blue Cross animal shelter. Alys enjoys playing with my cockerpoo in the park. She is kind and caring. Alys is trustworthy and honest.”
13. May M.
“May is an absolute gem. She is very caring and knowledgeable about dogs. She has taken fantastic care of my elderly lady who has some health issues, adapting to her needs. She provides regular updates and I trust her absolutely to take care of my girl!”

14. Marc D.
“Marc D is such a loving & caring dog owner. He goes above & beyond to care for dogs nothing is too much trouble & they are always his top priority my 3 Labradors adore him & always have a playful tussle when he sees them! His attention to detail on dogs care & walking is exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others as I know he would always be brilliant with their dogs. We both have dogs that are hard of hearing so Marc has been amazing adapting to this so that he can give due care & attention both in & outdoors.”

15. Bianca M.
About: Very protective, will save insects. One of my favourite things to do when taking care of pets is to take them on days out and visit different dog friendly places with them. Lots of walks, we have a cemetery a couple minutes walk away so it makes a great place to be for all types of dogs due to the lead only rule. They will receive lots of love and attention. You will receive lots of photos and updates throughout their stay, that is something very important to me. - I lock in prices so if my fees are to go up in the future they will remain at the original price for you. I have a flexible work schedule, I am able to check my dates and hours to ensure you are aware of my schedule also before we are happy to continue. I will like to know your routine to keep it as similar as I can. My routine is to usually take dogs out for a walk almost immediately as I find they're at much more ease after a walk - I find it helps distract them from any possible separation anxiety and forms a bond and trust towards me.

16. Lily R.

“I was so pleased with the level of care and attention my cats and rabbit received. I was given updates and photos every day which gave me piece of mind. I would definitely book again.”

17. Nathan S.
“Nathan had looked after dogs for as long as I remember. He is so playful and energetic around animals. I couldn't think of a more perfect person to look after your animal”

About: **To make sure each pup gets my full attention, I don’t offer walks or check-ins when I’m doing boarding or day care, and vice versa. I want every dog to feel totally cared for while they’re with me! My calendar is kept up to date to reflect this, so you’ll always know what’s available** Ive been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them! Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, and for the past year, I’ve also been looking after pups through BorrowMyDoggy. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of personalities—from energetic puppies to more nervous or reactive dogs—and even fostered a particularly reactive dog who needed lots of patience, training, and positive reinforcement. That experience really deepened my understanding of dog behaviour and how to create a calm, safe environment tailored to each dog’s needs. I currently share my home with two lovely rescue dogs. Despite their rough starts, they’re both very friendly and love the company of other dogs, so visiting pups are always welcomed with wagging tails. I work part-time on a rotating shift schedule, which gives me lots of flexibility throughout the week! I usually have 4 days off and can often fit in visits on workdays too—whether it’s morning tail wags or evening walkies. Because of my schedule, I can be pretty adaptable, and I’m always happy to make time for some quality time with your pup. I receive my schedule a month at a time and update it regularly, so if you ever need adjustments to timings, last-minute bookings, or a bit of extra support, just let me know—we’ll make it work! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to care for pets either in your home—where they feel most relaxed—or in mine, depending on what suits you best. At home, I live in a two-bedroom terraced house with plenty of space for pets to settle in. We’re in the middle of some light renovations, but everything is safe, secure, and pet-friendly. The garden is a good size and fully enclosed with 6ft fencing all around, plus an extra 4ft fence that separates the paved area from the grass—great for keeping things tidy and secure during playtime. Whether in your space or mine, I’m committed to creating a calm, caring environment where your pet can feel happy and safe.

19. Ellora K.

20. Ellie M.
