4. Kabir K.
“We met Kabir through Borrow my Doggy website. He is absolutely charming, a totally trustworthy and responsible individual. He has walked and looked after our Dachshund overnight on several occasions, is very caring and has enriched our lives. We have grown very fond of him and his fine family too. He even made us a video of one of the long walks he took him on. He’s first class! He took our dog and invited us to his parent’s house too and we consider him as a welcome friend to us. He loves dogs, has trained ours to give a paw when receiving treats. He is a very caring young man and has brought us much pleasure and had become more than just a friend to us. We would not hesitate in recommending him to you. Richard & Trisha Gray”

“Lucy and Sam have looked after our cockapoo Dexter very well several times, he loves it when either Lucy or Sam come and is especially excited to see both! Lucy and Sam are always keen to take Dexter for a walk, even when pouring with rain! They dry him off and settle him down for a sleep 😴 we are completely comfortable leaving Dexter with them, also at their home which hopefully will be more often once!”

About: I have had dogs in various shapes and sizes since I was a child. A Jack Russell that lived to 17, a rescued Great Dane, a beautiful Weimaraner (the love of my life, sadly missed) and now a 3 year old Bedlington terrier. I also work part time at ITFC and have been DBS checked 👍 I’m now retired and thought I’d try my hand at dog care. We live in a bungalow on the outskirts of Ipswich surrounded by fields and great walks for dogs (on or off the lead). We also have a large garden that is fully fenced in. I would treat every pet as if it were my own, lots of walks and stimulating play time, I hate to see bored dogs. To encourage good behaviour I set ground rules for my own dog and would expect the guest dog to be able to follow the same simple instructions. This would help to create a calm and relaxed environment.

About: We have a labrador and a weimaraner so are used to large and excited dogs. We have experience with medication and injections as our lab has arthritis so requires tablets and jabs. We have large dog beds and blankets abd a large sofa that animals can curl up on. Our dogs are friendly. My partner and I work from home everyday. Pet care fits in around those hours. So a walk before work when the light allows, if not we do lunch time walks instead, and again before dinner if needed. Feeding is normally at 7am and 7pm, however if additional feeding is required this can also be done. We are able to provide medication to dogs too, including jabs. Dog beds are by radiators which are covered. The beds are filed with mattresses and blankets to ensure the dogs are warm and comfortable over night. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, but there is plenty of space on the ground level. Generally we will be in the office and the dogs will sleep there for the day, but they do have access to the rest of downstairs if they want. Toilet breaks are when the dog needs abd there is a high fenced garden out back.

15. Mark B.
“Mark Barnes is a very close friend who I can recommend to take care of people's family pets or pets needing stable accomodation before they are re-homed. He grew up with a family pet dog and also looked after my pet Jack Russell on numerous occasions when I was away.My pet always felt relaxed, calm and happy in his care. He is reliable, honest and will take full responsibility with their welfare regards walking, feeding and giving them love and attention which they so rightly deserve whilst the owners are absent from their lives.”
16. Aimee W.
“Aimee is a caring and attentive person who has a wonderful relationship with animals. She has looked after my mum’s dog (a cheeky cocker spaniel) on countless occasions and the two have formed a heartwarming bond. She’s also looked after many of my friends’ dogs and always does a great job - whether it’s going on fun walks, playing around the house or just relaxing on the sofa.”
17. Brittany H.
“Jenson settled really well with Brittany and we felt comfortable leaving him with her. She made sure all of his needs were met and took a genuine interest in his requirements. We received regular updates through the day with pictures and it was clear Jenson took a liking to her. Would definitely recommend and will look to rebook for future occasions!”
18. Carli W.
“Carli has previously looked after my dog Rupert while I've been away and the most important thing to me in addition to Rupert being safe and happy was that his boundaries and structure was kept the same and this was something that Carli stuck to which meant that when I came home he knew all the rules still applied. Rupert absolutely loves Carli and would happily exchange us for her for a few days while we go away! I have a senior cat who requires medication twice a day and Carli was happy to do this for me too.”
19. Emily D.
“Emily is a caring, committed and capable dog owner. She maintains clear boundaries with her own dog(s) by rewarding good behaviour with praise and treats. She is responsible and trustworthy and has looked after my own dog before. I would highly recommend her to others as a dog walker and/or dog sitter.”

About: I've been looking after dogs my whole life, whether it's family pups, or friends' and others'. From tiniest chihuahua to hugest great dane, to my own little wolves, all dogs are wonderful When I'm home, I'm home all day to play with, cuddle, and look after the doggies. I don't keep a regular routine at home, so can be fully flexible to your doggie's needs.
