Charlotte looked after my nervous boy Ozzy, I couldn’t have been happier with how he was looked after. Charlotte made sure he had plenty of toilet breaks and play time. Ozzy settled eventually and I couldn’t be more grateful for how he was looked after. Thankyou Charlotte ❤️

About: Molly’s Dachshund Club offers specialist home-from-home day care and overnight stays created exclusively for dachshunds. This is not generic dog boarding, it is breed-specific care designed around the unique needs, quirks and wellbeing of little sausage dogs. We are fully licensed, fully insured, trained in canine first aid, and operate to professional standards with documented care procedures, emergency protocols and welfare-focused policies in place, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe, capable hands. Dachshunds are not just the breed we care for, they are the breed we specialise in. I run Molly Walks Club, a free dachshund walking community, and host The Dachshund Clinic podcast, where I share insights around dachshund health, behaviour and wellbeing. My background in behavioural training means I understand how to work with nervous, excitable, stubborn, sensitive and strong-willed dachshunds in a calm, confident and supportive way. Because I run my businesses from home, your dog is never left in a busy kennel environment or with minimal supervision. They enjoy constant companionship, structured care and a calm, cosy home environment designed with dachshunds in mind, including ramps for little legs, quiet rest spaces and plenty of comfort. Our resident dachshund, Molly, is the self-appointed CEO of the household and an excellent hostess. She is incredibly social and particularly brilliant at helping nervous or unsure dogs settle in, often gently guiding them into the pack and helping them feel safe. Every stay includes tailored countryside walks designed for dachshunds. We focus on safe exploration, enrichment, confidence building and appropriate exercise rather than exhausting long-distance walks. Quiet woodland trails, countryside routes and plenty of sniffing opportunities are all part of the experience. Animals have always been part of my life, with over thirty years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I volunteered at a veterinary practice when I was young for six years, giving me additional practical grounding in animal care and welfare. For dachshunds with IVDD or additional support needs, I also offer respite care where appropriate. If your dog needs extra care, just let me know so we can make sure the right support is in place. Safe care. Specialist understanding. Happy dachshunds. Peace of mind for owners. 🐾 Key Business Details 4-Star Council Licensed Home Boarding & Day Care Fully Insured Canine First Aid Qualified I work from home and my own dachshund, Molly, is the centre of my world. My day is already structured around her needs, so caring for other daxies simply becomes part of that same rhythm. Mornings usually start with breakfast and a 30-min walk where the little legs can explore, sniff and move at a relaxed pace. The rest of the day is a mix of companionship, playtime, enrichment, naps and garden breaks, with the dogs always nearby while I work. Because I am home throughout the day, the dogs are never left alone and get plenty of attention, reassurance and supervision. The routine is calm and predictable, which dachshunds tend to respond to really well. Late afternoons and evenings are relaxed with a longer walk, usually at a woodlands, and garden time, followed by cosy downtime in the house. It is very much a home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in a kennel style setting. Dogs staying with me are cared for as part of the household. They stay inside the home with plenty of cosy spaces to rest, relax and feel safe, and I keep the number of dogs small so everyone gets proper attention and supervision. Because I work from home, the dogs are not left alone and are always nearby throughout the day. I pay close attention to each dog's temperament, energy level and comfort so they settle in at their own pace. Some dachshunds are confident straight away, while others need a little more time, and that is completely fine. My own dachshund Molly plays a big role in helping visiting dogs feel comfortable. She is very social and particularly good with nervous dogs, often helping them settle into the pack naturally. Walks are done in quiet woodland or countryside areas where the environment is calm and safe for dachshunds. I always prioritise slow paced walks suitable for little legs and make sure dogs are secure and supervised at all times. We will work up to off-lead walks, and I will keep your babies on-lead until we are both comfortable with being off-lead. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. I have a good understanding of basic dog first aid and always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and happiness of every dog in my care.

About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Jack Russell's to border Collies. In recent years I've looked after dogs for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, dogs with arthritis (requiring pushing in a pram), dogs on restricted diets, administering medication and of course lots of cuddles and walks if welcomed! I work from home full time so my schedule is completely free and flexible for regular walks and toilets breaks. It's unlikely your pet will be left on their own. I live with my parents who are also dog friendly, they aren't home during the day but are around in the evening, so plenty of company if your pet wants it! Equally, the house is big enough that they can have some alone time if thats their preference. I have a medium sized enclosed and secure garden. In the summer the door can be left open for pets to come and go as they please. For boarding requests, I live with my own dog (Otis) who is a 10-year old French basset cross. He's friendly (if uninterested) in other dogs. We can introduce your pet to Otis at the meet and greet and ensure they get on. Otis is used to having other dogs stay and is very chill. He is neutered.

About: I provide calm, reliable pet care with a strong focus on routine, gentle handling and individual attention. I’ve owned pets all my life and trained as a groomer, giving me confidence handling both dogs and cats and an understanding of their different needs. My approach is patient and safety-led, helping pets feel settled and cared for in familiar surroundings. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained, and I’m always happy to arrange a meet & greet before booking. Pet care is my full-time daily routine. I run my licensed dog day care and walking service from our private countryside home, so my days are fully structured around the dogs in my care. Each day includes countryside walks, enrichment, play and calm rest periods, with dogs enjoying a consistent and supervised environment throughout the day. I keep numbers small to ensure every dog receives individual attention, companionship and a relaxed home-from-home experience. Dogs cared for in my home enjoy a calm, structured and fully supervised environment. I care for a small number of compatible dogs at a time to ensure a safe and relaxed experience for everyone. Dogs have access to a secure outdoor area for toileting and fresh air, with walks and exercise provided throughout the day. Depending on each dog’s needs and owner preference, exercise takes place on-lead or in suitable safe locations to ensure comfort and safety at all times. Indoors, dogs have comfortable rest areas, enrichment activities and plenty of individual attention as part of a home-from-home routine. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I closely follow their established routines to maintain familiarity and minimise stress, ensuring feeding, exercise and companionship are provided exactly as requested.

Jane was absolutely fantastic with our dogs. She is a very kind and caring person, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. Our dogs stayed with her for two days, and the best proof of how happy they were is that on the second day they were excited to go back to her again. They looked relaxed, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. The happiness and excitement of our dogs says it all. Thank you, Jane!

It was obvious Miguel had an amazing time with Becky from the way he has been so chill coming home but also the way he was leaning against her and wanting a fuss when we were leaving! Becky was excellent at communicating on Miguel and we felt totally at ease to leave him to have a doggy daycare. Thanks so much again Becky and we will all look forward to seeing you again 🥰

Couldn’t be happier with the care Evelina provided to my 4 month old pup Ziggy! I was a bit nervous as this would be the first time Ziggy was away from home but Evelina was very accommodating and made me feel at ease straight away - meeting us before looking after him and taking the time to ask about and understand his specific needs. I’ve since left my puppy with Evelina a number of times and continue to do so. I really appreciate the regular updates throughout the day and pictures/videos of how Ziggy is getting on. Hacker is a wonderful dog and is also sooo great with Ziggy. I would highly recommend Evelina :)

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals - from little hamsters and bunnies to all sorts of dogs! I've got lots of experience around different sized dogs so understand their temperaments, behaviour and overall fun nature. I absolutely love dogs and taking them for woodland adventures around our home. I have a baby at home too who absolutely loves meeting new furry faces! I am relied on to look after family and friend dogs, to keep them well fed and entertained, often exhausted by the time they return home! I'm currently on maternity leave and when I return to work I will be working from home so will be highly available for both weekdays and weekends! I'm currently on maternity leave, so I have plenty of time to cater to and play with your dog! Myself and my partner take our baby out on daily walks and like to switch up the locations to give her good stimulation - these include going to fields, parks, forests and river walks - so why not have your little furry friend come along and enjoy the fun? Being on maternity leave with the ability to work from home on my return enables me to be quite available and flexible with my time. I own a 3-bedroom/3-story house with a fenced garden, so there is ample space for your little fur ball to run around and explore! Having a baby at home ensures that everything is kept clean and tidy, so your dog will have enough space for all their kit!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 600 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Babergh. About 85% of Babergh sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Babergh commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
