About: Ever since before I could walk, I was surrounded by animals. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea-pigs, goats, horses and every other animal you can imagine. I spent all my childhood training horses and trained our dogs in all the basics. If your pet has any special requirements, please let me know and if you need any help with training I am more than happy to assist. My current job means I'm not able to have the time for a pet of my own so I am looking to open my heart to help others and give your pet an abundance of care and affection. I love to hike and be outdoors so your pet will get all the exercise you would like them to have and lots hugs and affection. I currently work from home two days a week and am free most weekends. I am also available most evenings but this can be discussed on a case by case basis. I have a large two bedroom flat in the town centre. There are other pets on the same floor. Your pet will have full access around the flat and I can take them for regular potty breaks as well as a lunchtime and evening walk. If your pet is with me on the weekend I often go hiking, so please be aware of this and if this is not suitable for your pet please let me know. If I do take your dog out hiking and they get muddy I'm more than happy to give them a bath/shower afterwards as long as you advise if they have any skin allergies etc. If your pet has any medical requirements etc I'm more than happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have gained some great experience over the years. I’ve worked with trained search dogs, which taught me a lot about understanding different behaviours and building trust. I also volunteer at a local rehoming centre, helping care for dogs with all kinds of personalities. At home, I have two lively cocker spaniels who keep me on my toes and remind me how important it is to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I really enjoy making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after I work part-time from home with a flexible shift pattern, so it’s easy for me to fit pet care around my schedule. I make sure any bookings get my full attention, and I love having animals as part of my daily routine. I offer drop-in visits to make sure pets are happy and well looked after in their own home. I’ll follow their normal routine — whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled while you’re away. I also offer dog walking and home boarding. I’m happy to give your dog a good walk, some company and plenty of fuss, or have them stay with me in a home-from-home environment while you’re away. 🐶

My Rio is only a pup and was worried about her going anywhere during the day but I think Rio ended up having a better day out than we did! ☺️ Angela was so good at replying to us before Rio went, once there we got constant updates and by the end of the day Rio looked reluctant to come home! My day is already structured around her needs, so caring for other daxies simply becomes part of that same rhythm. Mornings usually start with breakfast and a 30-min walk where the little legs can explore, sniff and move at a relaxed pace. The rest of the day is a mix of companionship, playtime, enrichment, naps and garden breaks, with the dogs always nearby while I work. Because I am home throughout the day, the dogs are never left alone and get plenty of attention, reassurance and supervision. The routine is calm and predictable, which dachshunds tend to respond to really well. Late afternoons and evenings are relaxed with a longer walk, usually at a woodlands, and garden time, followed by cosy downtime in the house. We will work up to off-lead walks, and I will keep your babies on-lead until we are both comfortable with being off-lead. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. I have a good understanding of basic dog first aid and always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and happiness of every dog in my care.

About: I’ve loved dogs since childhood, and for the past two years, I’ve been looking after my friends' dog.
