“Amanda is brilliant with Mango and he loves going ! Amanda is very flexible with times and that also is a great help. Would definitely keep using her and recommend her!”

“Everyone’s doggy should have a day with Angela! My Rio is only a pup and was worried about her going anywhere during the day but I think Rio ended up having a better day out than we did! ☺️ Angela was so good at replying to us before Rio went, once there we got constant updates and by the end of the day Rio looked reluctant to come home! Rio got a big walk in the field, access to the gardens and she met the cats and Guinea pigs ? I couldn’t recommend her enough! Would 100% rebook with Angela, truly was a little paradise for our pup ? Thank you!”

About: We are dachshund specialists - Day care and overnight stays include a countryside walk to make sure your pooch gets plenty of exercise and comes home happily tired. I work from home; I run an entrepreneur/founder support platform, and have full control over my workload and schedule. My focused work happens at night and Molly, my dog, is like velcro but will leave me alone when she has company, which means that your pup will have constant supervision and company throughout their stay. I specialise in dachshunds. I run a free dachshund walking group called Molly Walks Club and have spent a lot of time walking with every temperament of daxie imaginable. During our walks we include light training, confidence building and off lead work where appropriate, along with plenty of affection. I understand the breed well and focus on keeping them fit and strong to support their long term health, particularly given the risks dachshunds can face with IVDD. Our cottage offers a calm, cosy home from home environment rather than a busy kennel setting. Everything is on one level with ramps in place to support little legs, and there are plenty of quiet corners where dogs can relax if they want their own space. Our resident character, Molly, has firmly appointed herself CEO of the household. She is incredibly social, very intelligent and, like most dachshunds, wonderfully stubborn when she has made up her mind. She is also fantastic with nervous dogs and has a lovely instinct for helping new arrivals feel safe and welcome. Every visiting dog has a natural play buddy in Molly, who helps them settle into the pack. With more nervous dogs she often gently reassures them and helps them relax into the environment. Daily walks are designed specifically for dachshunds. Little legs need a slower pace, so our walks focus on relaxed exploration rather than distance. We usually head to quiet woodland trails or countryside paths with lots of smells and very little traffic or crowds. Molly is normally off lead and naturally leads the walk, confidently exploring ahead before circling back to check on everyone. Dogs tend to fall into a relaxed pack rhythm, wandering, sniffing and regrouping together. These walks are part of Molly Walks Club, a friendly dachshund walking group built around confidence, exploration and letting dogs enjoy the world at their own pace. The aim is simple: safe care, happy dogs and peace of mind for owners while their little sausage is on holiday. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets and have been caring for animals for over twenty years. As a teenager I volunteered at a veterinary clinic because I originally wanted to become a vet, which gave me a strong foundation in animal care and dog first aid. I also offer respite day care for dachshunds with IVDD. If your dog has IVDD or requires additional care, please let me know in advance so I can make sure they receive the extra attention and support they need. 🐾 I work from home and my own dachshund, Molly, is the centre of my world. My day is already structured around her needs, so caring for other dogs simply becomes part of that same rhythm. Mornings usually start with a gentle countryside walk where the little legs can explore, sniff and move at a relaxed pace. The rest of the day is a mix of companionship, playtime, naps and short garden breaks, with the dogs always nearby while I work. Because I am home throughout the day, the dogs are never left alone and get plenty of attention, reassurance and supervision. The routine is calm and predictable, which dachshunds tend to respond to really well, and because I live so remote, we don't get loads of traffic which means they are able to truly calm down. Late afternoons and evenings are relaxed with a longer walk, usually at a woodlands, and garden time, followed by cosy downtime in the house. It is very much a home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in a kennel style setting. Dogs staying with me are cared for as part of the household. They stay inside the home with plenty of cosy spaces to rest, relax and feel safe, and I keep the number of dogs small so everyone gets proper attention and supervision. Because I work from home, the dogs are not left alone and are always nearby throughout the day. I pay close attention to each dog's temperament, energy level and comfort so they settle in at their own pace. Some dachshunds are confident straight away, while others need a little more time, and that is completely fine. My own dachshund Molly plays a big role in helping visiting dogs feel comfortable. She is very social and particularly good with nervous dogs, often helping them settle into the pack naturally. Walks are done in quiet woodland or countryside areas where the environment is calm and safe for dachshunds. I always prioritise slow paced walks suitable for little legs and make sure dogs are secure and supervised at all times. We will work up to off-lead walks, and I will keep your babies on-lead until we are both comfortable with being off-lead. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. I have a good understanding of basic dog first aid and always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and happiness of every dog in my care.
About: Hello! :) I'm Beth, 31 years old and pretty much grown up with pets my whole life, I have over 16 years of real hands-on experience with mostly dogs and cats within our family home (before that we also had guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens!). Our family dog was a male Cocker Spaniel who lived to the ripe old age of 16 (!), so I’m very comfortable with both crazy puppies and slower, senior dogs. I regularly dog and house sit for friends, family and colleagues — from weekend stays to month-long sits, caring for Labradors, Cockapoos, a rescue dog, a Mini Dachshund and my sister’s Cocker Spaniel from puppyhood. I have also volunteered with The Cinnamon Trust for dog walking locally. I currently live in MK, and work from home 3-4 days a week (my office days i travel into London), I also have 4~ weeks a year to work from any location, meaning for longer sits I would not need to travel into the office. On my home-working days, I can be totally flexible and around for your pet throughout the day. Happy to fit walks etc around your pet’s normal routine so they feel settled and comfortable. I’m really active and enjoy getting out for walks/runs, I also have my own car so have flexibility with travel etc. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I always follow owners’ instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and make sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for! :) If house-sitting i'd be more than happy to help with any extra things that need doing, I'm super clean and tidy, I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving both your pet and your home in someone else’s hands. Also very responsive on my phone so happy to keep you updated with messages and photos if needed whilst you are away! I currently live in a flat so i don't have the best space for housing a pet, so only open to walks and house sitting at the moment, but that will change this year as we are hoping to move and buy a house!
About: I’ve looked after dogs of varying ages since a young age. I have managed 5 dogs by myself at one time. I also have looked after senior dogs (15+), as well as puppies age 12 weeks+. I am comfortable with any size dog. I have a certificate in Dog First Aid and Cat Aid. I work full time WFH so am around all day on weekdays! I have one hour of lunch breaks for walkies and am not glued to my desk 24/7, so this leaves me with lots of time for pet snuggles and playtime. I have enough patio room for dog zoomies! I’m happy for pets to sit on ends of bed or furniture (I have covered these surfaces). I do not have crates available but can discuss this. I can do 45mins-1 hour walks once per day, with shorter walks throughout and plenty of garden time. I love dog snuggles so there’ll be plenty of that!

About: I provide calm, reliable pet care with a strong focus on routine, gentle handling and individual attention. I’ve owned pets all my life and trained as a groomer, giving me confidence handling both dogs and cats and an understanding of their different needs. My approach is patient and safety-led, helping pets feel settled and cared for in familiar surroundings. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained, and I’m always happy to arrange a meet & greet before booking. Pet care is my full-time daily routine. I run my licensed dog day care and walking service from our private countryside home, so my days are fully structured around the dogs in my care. Each day includes countryside walks, enrichment, play and calm rest periods, with dogs enjoying a consistent and supervised environment throughout the day. I keep numbers small to ensure every dog receives individual attention, companionship and a relaxed home-from-home experience. Dogs cared for in my home enjoy a calm, structured and fully supervised environment. I care for a small number of compatible dogs at a time to ensure a safe and relaxed experience for everyone. Dogs have access to a secure outdoor area for toileting and fresh air, with walks and exercise provided throughout the day. Depending on each dog’s needs and owner preference, exercise takes place on-lead or in suitable safe locations to ensure comfort and safety at all times. Indoors, dogs have comfortable rest areas, enrichment activities and plenty of individual attention as part of a home-from-home routine. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I closely follow their established routines to maintain familiarity and minimise stress, ensuring feeding, exercise and companionship are provided exactly as requested.
“Alex was great. Really clear communication, super friendly and helpful and even completely undaunted by the bog sheet of information I sent over! Nova clearly had a great day with her. I'd recommend Alex to anyone 😃”

“Jane has looked after our two whippets several times, helping us out at short notice which was so appreciated! The dogs clearly enjoy their time at Jane’s house, and always come home happy and relaxed. Thank you!”

“After a meet and greet with our dog Murphy and Caroline's dogs we were happy to have her look after him. We were kept updated with photos and it was good to see him playing with her dogs and enjoying himself. We wouldn't hesitate to have Caroline look after him again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who is great at adapting to different temperaments. Whether your dog is super energetic or a bit shy, I know how to make them feel comfortable and safe. I take your specific instructions very seriously! I’m happy to follow exact feeding routines, dietary needs, and any special 'house rules' you have. I’ll make sure your pet’s schedule stays exactly the way they like it so you can relax while you're away. Since I work from home, pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine! I am available throughout the day for constant company and supervision. I structure my breaks around your pet's needs, ensuring they get regular outdoor time in my garden and two long walks (30–60 minutes each) at the nearby park. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I provide a safe and loving home environment with a secure, fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some freedom. I have my own dog who is very friendly and loves having playmates, but I can also easily separate them if needed. I am extremely careful with feeding instructions and house rules to ensure your pet feels secure and right at home while staying with me.
“Simon was great with Molly. His place has great space for dogs and she was very happy there. Has returned suitably tired, always the sign of a good day. He definitely loves dogs. Molly will be back. Would recommend. It was lovely to get photos through the day of what she was up to. Thanks Simon!”

“Dougie had a great time with Frances. He came home very content and sleepy so I’m sure he had a great day. Frances was amazing with communication as well - won’t hesitate to use again!”

About: I provide a calm, safe, and structured home-from-home environment for your dog while you’re away — whether that’s during work hours or while you’re on holiday. Dogs staying with me can settle in, play, and relax at their own pace in a quiet, low-pressure home. I regularly foster behavioural dogs for rehabilitation, so I’m very comfortable with dogs who may be a little nervous, quirky, or reactive. I’m always happy to work around each dog’s individual needs to help them feel secure and comfortable during their stay 🤍 I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and a wide variety of breeds — from bichons and dachshunds to greyhounds and mixed breeds. At home I have two well-socialised sporting dogs — a collie and a whippet — so I’m very familiar with high-drive and working-type breeds too. They’re both friendly and used to having visiting dogs stay with us 🌟 To keep things calm and safe, I only take a small number of dogs at a time (a maximum of four including my two). This means every dog gets plenty of attention and space. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your dog is getting on and relax while you’re away. I work full time from home, we’ll typically have a walk along the local park/ river in the morning and then take a different longer route in the evening (yay for brighter evenings! ☀️) If I have more than 3 dogs at a time (including my two) I’ll split walks, so I can keep an eye on everyone equally. I do also like booking an enclosed dog field for some free run time for dogs that aren’t off lead. I think it’s important in multi dog houses that dogs get their own space and rest, so my girls and fosters will spend a couple hours a day in their crates to ensure they’re sleeping properly and rested. Dogs are my everything, my friends, hobby’s and home life all revolve around the dogs, so I’m sure your dog will fit in perfectly 😊 I’m happy to accommodate anything you need for your pet, every foster comes with their own set of needs and accommodations so I’m used to putting different things in place, to keep them comfortable and happy 💞 My garden is fenced with a grass and patio section. We can exercise with on lead and off lead walks or enclosed fields if you’d prefer! Whatever makes your dog happy!

About: I’ve owned household pets (such as dogs, cats, rabbits and even parrots) my entire life. I run a small livery yard. I’m also a qualified equine and canine sports massage therapist. I’m currently qualifying as a human sports massage therapist after being made redundant from my corporate job in January, so my days are very flexible currently. I attend to my cats, horses and donkeys daily. I have two cats at my home but at my parents house, we have 3 friendly dogs (two Scottie’s and a spaniel). We have a large fenced garden as well as 7 acres of fenced paddocks for the dogs to run and play in.
