“We feel lucky and very relieved to have found Karen and Anthony. They looked after our 2 girls, a spaniel and a terrier for 5 days. Millie is a very nervous little girl but she soon relaxed, as we saw on the photos they sent us. In fact it was evident that both the girls' behaviour was much the same as at home. Karen had found out all their individual foibles and little habits, like Bess'habit of lying on our head when it's time to get up. The dogs were free to go wherever they wanted in the house, as well as on the furniture and the bed. Karen was honest about how their stay went, telling us about a couple of little hiccups and how they were resolved. The garden there is very big, and adequately fenced, even a tiny dog like Millie was safe. They had nice walks and games in the garden like retrieving balls and finding hidden snacks etc. They enjoyed playing with toys belonging to Bodie, their own spaniel as well. When we collected the girls they were their usual self, relaxed and happy. They looked well and shared their attention between Karen and us, treating us all much the same. We are extremely happy with Karen and Anthony's understanding of dogs, and with their intuitive recognition of individual needs and likes. We feel that we have found the ideal "dogsitters", which enables us, for the first time, to go away without the dogs.”

About: My experience of cats is extensive, with my parents having 4 of their own which I regularly look after. 3 of these we have had from kittens, with the 4th being a rescue. The rescue was incredibly nervous when we first took him in, as such I understand thoroughly how nervous cats can be. About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Jack Russell's to border Collies. In recent years I've looked after dogs for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, dogs with arthritis (requiring pushing in a pram), dogs on restricted diets, administering medication and of course lots of cuddles and walks if welcomed! I work from home full time so my schedule is completely free and flexible for regular walks and toilets breaks. It's unlikely your pet will be left on their own. I live with my parents who are also dog friendly, they aren't home during the day but are around in the evening, so plenty of company if your pet wants it! Equally, the house is big enough that they can have some alone time if thats their preference. I have a medium sized enclosed and secure garden. In the summer the door can be left open for pets to come and go as they please. For boarding requests, I live with my own dog (Otis) who is a 10-year old French basset cross. He's friendly (if uninterested) in other dogs. We can introduce your pet to Otis at the meet and greet and ensure they get on. Otis is used to having other dogs stay and is very chill. He is neutered.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals - from little hamsters and bunnies to all sorts of dogs! I've got lots of experience around different sized dogs so understand their temperaments, behaviour and overall fun nature. I absolutely love dogs and taking them for woodland adventures around our home. I have a baby at home too who absolutely loves meeting new furry faces! I am relied on to look after family and friend dogs, to keep them well fed and entertained, often exhausted by the time they return home! About: I have lived with dogs all my life I have owned a number of breeds myself I have trained all my dogs working on socialisation and off lead recall. Your training will be continued with me, to ensure continuity. Your dog will be treated like mine and will want for nothing. I have experience with senior dogs also I currently am at home full time. Depending on the length of time your dog is with me they will rarely be left alone. Max an hour if I need to pop out, which is rare as I will work my appointments etc around my availability. I have a fully 6FT plus fenced garden on all sides. It’s a large garden laid to lawn. Although the dog will not be left in the garden on their own for any particular time. I am surrounded by fields and walking trails. The dog has a general free roam of my house, unless you have restrictions and want these continued in my home (no upstairs, no furniture, crate etc) I will try and ensure your dogs routine is not disrupted whether I am in your house or mine.
About: Ive worked with animals in a variety of settings including rescues, shops and even the zoo, so have extensive experience with a variety of different kinds of animals, whether it be furry, feathered or scaly I am confident with looking after them. I have done a few sitting jobs already. I am comfortable with reptiles and also have some training experience, so would be happy to aid in the training of any young pets. I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour in this time and I ensure every dog in my care receives the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I love all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly, and I understand they all come with their own unique personalities and needs. I will ensure your pet feels safe and loved in my care. *I am also DBS cleared and have my Canine First Aid certificate, for extra peace of mind.* I work just three days a week for a couple of hours cleaning, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. Outside of that, pet care is my main focus, so I’m able to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and ensure your dog feels comfortable, cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced in garden, with a forest that lies out back. Perfect for little or large adventures. We have one other dog that has use of the garden but does not share the same living space. I can keep the dogs separate if needed or if your pup likes company I’m sure they will love our little girl.

About: I’ve looked after dogs of varying ages since a young age. I have managed 5 dogs by myself at one time. I also have looked after senior dogs (15+), as well as puppies age 12 weeks+. I am comfortable with any size dog. I have a certificate in Dog First Aid and Cat Aid. I work full time WFH so am around all day on weekdays! I have one hour of lunch breaks for walkies and am not glued to my desk 24/7, so this leaves me with lots of time for pet snuggles and playtime. I have enough patio room for dog zoomies! I’m happy for pets to sit on ends of bed or furniture (I have covered these surfaces). I do not have crates available but can discuss this. I can do 45mins-1 hour walks once per day, with shorter walks throughout and plenty of garden time. I love dog snuggles so there’ll be plenty of that!

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals as I’ve grown up, unfortunately living in a flat and working full time I have not been able to have one of my own. However, I have looked after my friends pets and also used Borrow my Doggy so I could walk a dog and take care of one. I took particular care of one dog I bonded with for a couple of years and took him in for the day and would go walks and check in on him whilst his owner was at work. I have had a cat with a disability for 10 years however she has mainly stayed at my mother’s address whilst I moved for work and university. I have made sure when I look after medication needs, special diet and also check on her special care needs daily when I am back with her. I have also had to manage medical emergencies for her with taking her urgently to the vets multiple times. I currently take care of my housemates cat as well as also taking care of cats from a client I met on here for over a year with continued rebooks. I have a long term partner whom is fully vetted from his work and he helps support if required around my shift work to provide extra care for your little one. I currently work full time on a shift schedule, so I don’t always have the same days off working 6 days mornings or evenings on (about 8 hours) and 3 days off. About: I have volunteered in Morocco at a dog refuge for 2 months, providing daily care and training for over 150 dogs. This included walking, bathing, medicating, grooming, feeding etc..
