Even though he was a little nervous Charlotte communicated with me straight away and encouraged him gently out into the garden for a wee and a play. Charlotte communicated with me the whole time she was with Rusty and really reassured me that he was okay! Thank you for being so lovely and brilliant with Rusty”

We arranged a meet and greet and everything clicked right away. Tania has been incredibly friendly and reliable. She has been accommodating to all of my requests, even those that were made at short notice. I highly recommend Tania and look forward to working with her again soon.”

About: My experience of cats is extensive, with my parents having 4 of their own which I regularly look after. 3 of these we have had from kittens, with the 4th being a rescue. The rescue was incredibly nervous when we first took him in, as such I understand thoroughly how nervous cats can be. Please let me know if you have any other questions, or if you would like any more information.
“Paula was so very kind and caring towards our cat and helped very much even when he was unwell. She kept in touch and sent pictures and videos of him. We were so grateful to have her here with him for peace of mind. She even cleaned the house before leaving which was so thoughtful. We will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Very happy with Pedro. My dog Betty was especially relaxed around him and I felt happy with everything. When I returned home they were happy and had fresh water. Getting updates and pictures whilst I was out was very reassuring.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since childhood. We had a few stray cats in the neighbourhood, and I used feed them and play with them whenever I had time. I’ve also taken care of friends cats and always enjoyed it.

About: I’ve had cats since I was young and have always felt drawn to them. They are wonderful creatures and each and every one of them has such a unique personality. Rest assured when I’m caring for your cat they will be treated like the royalty each of them believe themselves to be. Cats can become very attached to a single person and dislike anyone else. It takes time to build that trust and I won’t push your cats boundaries. Im a very patient person and love to earn the connection with a cat. While you’re away your cat will be treated like family and I’ll make sure that they are happy and that you’re also happy with daily updates and photos. If your cat likes to play then we will get some toys and play, or maybe your cat just likes to have company and wants some pets. Whatever your cats requires I’m here to accommodate. Just let me know what your cat requires and it will be done. I look forward to hearing from you -Ben

About: When I was 14, one of the two kittens that was brought back home was very sickly and not accepting solid food. By syringe feeding her, I brought Toulouse back to full strength, and she is still going strong till this day.
About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂 My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. I therefore aim to make both you and your pet as comfortable as can be while you’re away and am very flexible to meets yours and their needs.

About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Jack Russell's to border Collies. In recent years I've looked after dogs for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, dogs with arthritis (requiring pushing in a pram), dogs on restricted diets, administering medication and of course lots of cuddles and walks if welcomed! I work from home full time so my schedule is completely free and flexible for regular walks and toilets breaks. It's unlikely your pet will be left on their own. I live with my parents who are also dog friendly, they aren't home during the day but are around in the evening, so plenty of company if your pet wants it! Equally, the house is big enough that they can have some alone time if thats their preference. I have a medium sized enclosed and secure garden. In the summer the door can be left open for pets to come and go as they please. For boarding requests, I live with my own dog (Otis) who is a 10-year old French basset cross. He's friendly (if uninterested) in other dogs. We can introduce your pet to Otis at the meet and greet and ensure they get on. Otis is used to having other dogs stay and is very chill. He is neutered.

About: EXCLUSIVELY FOR DACHSHUNDS. Messages for other breeds will be ignored. -- I own and run Molly’s Dachshund Club: specialist home-from-home day care and overnight boarding, exclusively for dachshunds. This is not generic dog boarding, it is breed-specific care designed around the unique needs, quirks and wellbeing of miniature and standard sausage dogs. We are fully licensed, fully insured, trained in canine first aid, and operate to professional standards with documented care procedures, emergency protocols and welfare-focused policies in place, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe, capable hands. I run Molly Walks Club, a free dachshund walking community, and host The Dachshund Clinic podcast, where I share insights around dachshund health, behaviour and wellbeing. My background in behavioural training means I understand how to work with nervous, excitable, stubborn, sensitive and strong-willed dachshunds in a calm, confident and supportive way. Because I run my businesses from home, your dog is never left in a busy kennel environment or with minimal supervision. They enjoy constant companionship, structured care and a calm, cosy home environment designed with dachshunds in mind, including ramps for little legs, quiet rest spaces and plenty of comfort. Our resident dachshund, Molly, is the self-appointed CEO of the household and an excellent hostess. She is incredibly social and particularly brilliant at helping nervous or unsure dogs settle in, often gently guiding them into the pack and helping them feel safe. Every stay includes tailored countryside walks designed for dachshunds. We focus on safe exploration, enrichment, confidence building and appropriate exercise rather than exhausting long-distance walks. Quiet woodland trails, countryside routes and plenty of sniffing opportunities are all part of the experience. Animals have always been part of my life, with over thirty years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I volunteered at a veterinary practice when I was young for six years, giving me additional practical grounding in animal care and welfare. For dachshunds with IVDD or additional support needs, I also offer respite care where appropriate. If your dog needs extra care, just let me know so we can make sure the right support is in place. Safe care. Specialist understanding. Happy dachshunds. Peace of mind for owners. 🐾 Key Business Details 4-Star Council Licensed Home Boarding & Day Care Fully Insured Canine First Aid Qualified I work from home and my own dachshund, Molly, is the centre of my world. My day is already structured around her needs, so caring for other daxies simply becomes part of that same rhythm. Mornings usually start with breakfast and a 30-min walk where the little legs can explore, sniff and move at a relaxed pace. The rest of the day is a mix of companionship, playtime, enrichment, naps and garden breaks, with the dogs always nearby while I work. Because I am home throughout the day, the dogs are never left alone and get plenty of attention, reassurance and supervision. The routine is calm and predictable, which dachshunds tend to respond to really well. Late afternoons and evenings are relaxed with a longer walk, usually at a woodlands, and garden time, followed by cosy downtime in the house. It is very much a home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in a kennel style setting. Dogs staying with me are cared for as part of the household. They stay inside the home with plenty of cosy spaces to rest, relax and feel safe, and I keep the number of dogs small so everyone gets proper attention and supervision. Because I work from home, the dogs are not left alone and are always nearby throughout the day. I pay close attention to each dog's temperament, energy level and comfort so they settle in at their own pace. Some dachshunds are confident straight away, while others need a little more time, and that is completely fine. My own dachshund Molly plays a big role in helping visiting dogs feel comfortable. She is very social and particularly good with nervous dogs, often helping them settle into the pack naturally. Walks are done in quiet woodland or countryside areas where the environment is calm and safe for dachshunds. I always prioritise slow paced walks suitable for little legs and make sure dogs are secure and supervised at all times. We will work up to off-lead walks, and I will keep your babies on-lead until we are both comfortable with being off-lead. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. I have a good understanding of basic dog first aid and always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and happiness of every dog in my care.
“Jane has looked after our two whippets several times, helping us out at short notice which was so appreciated! The dogs clearly enjoy their time at Jane’s house, and always come home happy and relaxed. Thank you!”

About: I’m a 19-year-old university student who has grown up surrounded by animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I have plenty of free time around my studies, so I’m able to offer flexible and reliable pet care. I’ve spent many of my summer holidays walking dogs for family and friends, keeping myself busy while doing something I truly enjoy. I’m also on my own fitness journey, so getting out for longer walks is something I actively enjoy — making dog walking a perfect combination of exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals. I’m comfortable around animals of all ages and personalities, and my experience goes beyond dogs: my cat has kittens several times a year, so I’m very familiar with caring for young, delicate animals and understand the patience, gentleness and attention they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved and well cared for while they’re with me. I’m a university student so when I’m not studying or in lectures, I have plenty of time to provide thorough pet care. Pet care serves as a wonderful break from my studies and allows me to spend time with animals which is my favourite hobby. I have a fenced garden, safe home and smoke-free environment. My cat is outdoors for most of the day, but is friendly and has been around dogs many times before with no issue.

About: I’ve looked after dogs of varying ages since a young age. I have managed 5 dogs by myself at one time. I also have looked after senior dogs (15+), as well as puppies age 12 weeks+. I am comfortable with any size dog. I have a certificate in Dog First Aid and Cat Aid. I work full time WFH so am around all day on weekdays! I have one hour of lunch breaks for walkies and am not glued to my desk 24/7, so this leaves me with lots of time for pet snuggles and playtime. I have enough patio room for dog zoomies! I’m happy for pets to sit on ends of bed or furniture (I have covered these surfaces). I do not have crates available but can discuss this. I can do 45mins-1 hour walks once per day, with shorter walks throughout and plenty of garden time. I love dog snuggles so there’ll be plenty of that!

About: I have grown up with and always loved animals. I regularly look after dogs of varying breeds (and personalities) for friends and family which I absolutely love. My experience varies from stubborn Huskies to yappy Jack Russel's to needy Siamese cats while also loving my own boisterous Labrador. This also varies in age, from my own 1 year old Labrador who we have had since a puppy, to more senior dogs who prefer a slower pace of life. I am understanding of the fact that different breeds and ages have different needs and requirements when it comes to daily care and I am always happy to incorporate this into their daily routine. Please feel free to message me for anymore information or any questions you may have. I currently work from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so will be around all day. I have a Labrador of my own, so we are in the routine of letting the dog out regularly, providing two walks a day and doing regular check ins to make sure there is plenty of water and all needs are met. Our garden is fully enclosed so the dogs are able to venture in and out as they please. My Labrador is still crated at night, however if your dog does not require crating this is fine. During the day, you dog will never be left for more than two hours. They layout of our house is slightly different, with the living area being on the first floor. This may not always be the best for more senior dogs. If there is any issues with this then please let me know.
