Dogs have featured in my life from when I was born, more recently I care for other people’s pets. Personally I have always owned medium to large breeds including, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinchers, Lab cross. Over my life I have always been the one in the family to be called in for any pet sitting. Unfortunately, I said goodbye to my last Dobie Tilly in 2020, and as we like to do some traveling now, we have branched out to pet sitting to get my doggy fix lol! I also occasionally walk a dog for a friend who works long hours. I am comfortable in walking, playing, bathing, grooming etc. My approach with dogs has always been to show I am top dog by showing them I respect them so they respect me (cuddles are a given of course 😊) I am currently work on an adhoc basis but no longer than 3-4 hrs out of the house. I am a grandparent so I do have grandchildren over regularly but they are used to dogs and have always enjoyed accompanying me in walks. I have a fenced garden, plenty of space downstairs for them to have a comfortable stay. I am also a 5 minute walk from a large park which also has a secure enclosed space for dogs that can’t be trusted off lead to return, enabling them to have a proper run and exercise. For clients who just need someone to let their pet out for toilet breaks, this would need to be local to me if needed during the day, I can be flexible in my lunch breaks to help for this service.

Serena did a fabulous job looking after Monty for the week, he loved his little holiday! Thank you for looking after him so brilliantly! 😁
Serena has been amazing! She helped look after our 4 year old happy Labrador and sassy 12 year old Chihuahua whilst we off getting married! They say weddings are stressful, these last 2x weeks you would not believe what has happened, what could go wrong, did go wrong ..pretty sure I could write a book! The night before the wedding and just before we were due to drop the dogs off to Serena, my little one needed emergency treatment. She came out coned and in pain. Serena was still so lovely to take her on due to the wedding and pamper her like the princess she is carrying her from room to room to garden on her bed (aka thrown) and making her as comfortable as she could. Thank you again for looking after our babies! Ted had a great time! I know Miss sassy pants would not have been easy whilst she was in pain and I hated leaving her but Serena you are a very warming person so I knew she was in good hands! Thank you again for everything! Xx

Beau has just had his second stay with Serena, and once again has been very well looked after. Beau made himself at home from the minute I dropped him off, and Serena was very accommodating to all his requirements. It was lovely to receive a video of him enjoying his evening walk looking very relaxed & comfortable. Would highly recommend 😊
Serena has been a great communicator throughout the booking process, sending photos and videos of Otto which was lovely. Otto seemed very happy and calm after his stay. Thank you Serena, Otto will happily stay with you again 😁

Zeitplan
I work on an adhoc basis as an exam invigilator so need to leave the house 3-4hrs but this is only during exam season. I look after my granddaughter 1 day a week, so a dog has to fit in to that. We love daily walks and drives to different areas, we are more than happy to take dogs with us in the car. Once a dog is booked we manage our social/work life around that so you can be sure they are not left on their own more than they are comfortable with. I am available to do drop in for cats as well as dogs.

I have a fenced garden and the gate entrance is padlocked at all times. We also use a baby gate internally to prevent any escapes if the front door is answered.
Ein typischer Tag
We are very keen walkers, so any dog staying with us would be joining us (this is all according to their age and abilities) We have a big park 5mins from us which is suitable for a good walk. As I am semi retired, I’m at home more than out working, I try to incorporate taking dogs out with me as much as possible, my elderly parents love having a visit from a gentle dog, and my grandchildren love to be accompanied by a furry fun friend!

- I believe it is extremely important for any doggy visitors to of met me before their stay, so I would encourage to meet before the sit. Also any information on your dogs behaviour/habits would be discussed at this time or happy for written information.
