When I was 16, my family adopted a dog, and I’ve been responsible for daily care including feeding, walking, playing, and spending quality time together. About: Since a young age I’ve always looked after family’s pets whilst they’re away on holiday. I frequently look after my friends dogs / cats whilst they go away either at theirs or mine. I love long walks & getting fresh air and am a huge animal lover. About: I absolutely adore dogs & cats. Iv grown up with both all my life whether it be at my parents when I was younger or around one of my sisters and brothers dogs, I think they make great companions and definitely become apart of the family! I would have 10 dogs if I could lol but I just have the 1 at the moment but hopefully in the future I will have a few more but for the meantime hopefully I can walk and look after other people's and take care of them as a part time job. I think dogs are lovely animals and just a pleasure to be around!🐶❤️ I'm currently working 9 hours a week as a cleaner/housekeeper so can be flexible in the mornings and/or afternoons which ever suits, I'm available anytime on Mondays, Thursdays and weekends. We have a good sized back garden which is fenced and also a kitchen which we put our small dog in if needed. I have a decent size cage for small cats if needed.
About: Must be child friendly 💜 One of my favourite things to do when taking care of dogs is taking them on days out and visiting different dog friendly places with them - if that’s also their thing! We love to go on a lot of walks, staying active and stimulated. We also have a cemetery moments away which is popular to us dog walkers for all types of dog personalities due to the lead only rule - great for those that prefer to be on a walk uninterrupted. I know that some dogs do struggle with separation anxiety which is why one of my strategies is to take them out on a walk almost immediately after a drop off as it rather quickly settles them and helps them to form a bond and trust with me. I believe that I am not providing just a care for your companions but also in a way, their owners too. You will receive lots of photos and updates throughout their stay, that is something extremely important to me to provide for you as I know how at ease it’ll make you feel whilst you’re away from your pets and I will want to make sure you can enjoy your time away with all the reassurance you need! - I lock in prices so if my fees are to go up in the future they will always remain at the original price for you. I work early during the day whilst my partner works during the night, there will always be someone here at the house for your dog! I will like to know your routine to keep it as similar as it is when they’re at home I can. We will love for you to bring their home comforts.
About: I’ve always loved animals since I was a little girl. I have a dog on my own a cat, I’ve always been an animals girl I currently work full-time, but my hours are very up-and-down at the moment. Meaning I have quite a lot of free time in between my work. Depending on the job at my house, I have a big garden that is all safely fenced in as well as a nice house with plenty of space for cat or dog. About: I've had 3 years + experience with pets, taking care of dogs as young as 8 months to 11 years old, from Greyhounds to Cairn Terriors. Throughout this time I've joined Zoom recall training for a Beagle puppy I cared for, provided post operative care and administered medication to my most senior dogs. Ensuring doors are shut, the correct diet is given to those with special requirements and medication is administered on time. I am aware of the current concern around dog theft so therefore I am always happy to keep doors locked and don't mind the use of indoor cameras, as long as I'm warned to look presentable 😂
