I have a complete educational background which includes a BSc degree in Zoology. I also spent 5 years at college studying Animal Management and Animal Care Assistance. I have always known I wanted to work in a animal career, so being able to look after others pets will allow me to create new knowledge and strength to add to my already established skill set, through what I have already learnt throughout my years of education and careers. Having dogs in my immediate family of all different sizes and breeds, I have always loved being around each and every one of them, and even meeting new pets. I have a lot of experience with dog sitting at my dads house with a staffy, cockerpoo and German Shepard/akita, providing fresh water and food, letting them outside and taking them for walks around the park, with all different temperaments I was able to keep all their needs well cared for. I would also look after my boyfriend’s senior black lab, doing short walks and providing vet prescribed medicine. As well as family dogs I worked at a kennel and cattery for 5 years here I looked after family pets while they went away on holiday, I accounted many different dogs of all sorts of backgrounds, providing their needs cleaning out the kennels twice a day, giving fresh water, keeping to their diets, for example raw, low fat, and supplemented food, provding vet prescribed medications, walking them, allowing them outside in our run pens and giving baths. Here I learnt a lot about dog behaviours. Currently I am an assistant manager in a dog crèche where I am greeted with lots of different breeds, ages and temperaments of dogs which is lots of fun! I work Monday to Friday full time but can accommodate morning and evening visits and I am free all day every weekend! I have edited my availability to match this, but continue to update my days so you’re not left disappointed! Me and partner have recently got our own puppy atlas a Labrador retriever, so we are learning every day with training and socialising, which allows me to bring these skills around your own pets! I can’t wait to meet all your pets, and will make sure not only is your dog well cared for but your house, and will provide daily updates and pictures for your peace of mind.
