Serena is fabulous & clearly has a love for dogs which helped put me at ease when leaving Beau; she was also more than happy to accommodate my request for a ‘meet & greet’ prior to his overnight stay so we could ensure everyone was comfortable. About: I've had 3 years + experience with pets, taking care of dogs as young as 8 months to 11 years old, from Greyhounds to Cairn Terriors. Throughout this time I've joined Zoom recall training for a Beagle puppy I cared for, provided post operative care and administered medication to my most senior dogs. I'm currently volunteering for The Cinnamon Trust charity to help the elderly walk their dogs as well as being a member of Borrowmydoggy. I now have 2 dogs of my own, 2 sausage dogs who love meeting new pooches. I work full time but I have evenings and weekends free to offer dog walking and Drop in visits for any pet from Turtles to Rabbits as well as Dogs. I have a reasonable sized garden fully fenced off and bolt gated. My first priority is your pet at all times. Ensuring doors are shut, the correct diet is given to those with special requirements and medication is administered on time. I am aware of the current concern around dog theft so therefore I am always happy to keep doors locked and don't mind the use of indoor cameras, as long as I'm warned to look presentable 😂

About: Must be child friendly 💜 One of my favourite things to do when taking care of dogs is taking them on days out and visiting different dog friendly places with them - if that’s also their thing! We love to go on a lot of walks, staying active and stimulated. We also have a cemetery moments away which is popular to us dog walkers for all types of dog personalities due to the lead only rule - great for those that prefer to be on a walk uninterrupted. I know that some dogs do struggle with separation anxiety which is why one of my strategies is to take them out on a walk almost immediately after a drop off as it rather quickly settles them and helps them to form a bond and trust with me. A Jack Russell that lived to 17, a rescued Great Dane, a beautiful Weimaraner (the love of my life, sadly missed) and now a 3 year old Bedlington terrier. I also work part time at ITFC and have been DBS checked 👍 Unlike other sitters who will take two, three or even four dogs we will only have one guest dog at a time, this means we can give more attention to your dog. I’m now retired and thought I’d try my hand at dog care. We live in a bungalow on the outskirts of Ipswich surrounded by fields and great walks for dogs (on or off the lead). We also have a large garden that is fully fenced in. I would treat every pet as if it were my own, lots of walks and stimulating play time, I hate to see bored dogs. To encourage good behaviour I set ground rules for my own dog and would expect the guest dog to be able to follow the same simple instructions. This would help to create a calm and relaxed environment.

About: My biggest so far challenge, was my “staff”breed. In fact, with lots of love, and an appropriate training approach, we bonded perfectly. Once or twice, i walked four “wiggle wags”at the same time, handful of treats worked just as well, we made a one “great pack” effort. A Caring for well-being of your pets will be depending on binding a joy of life, healthy snacks, and a cosy rest. I am self employed and managing most of my own schedule. I will find a time and i can fit in a pet care in, at my best. a Big garden with secured fencing, plus live next to one of the biggest parks in town, so if the pet dog is in need of good run, surely can provide that.

About: Grown up around animals. Had cats and dog my whole life. No longer have a pet after moving out of the family home but I often dog sit for our family dog plum. About: I’ve always loved animals since I was a little girl. I have a dog on my own a cat, I’ve always been an animals girl I currently work full-time, but my hours are very up-and-down at the moment. Meaning I have quite a lot of free time in between my work. Depending on the job at my house, I have a big garden that is all safely fenced in as well as a nice house with plenty of space for cat or dog. I have had experiences many breeds, and ages of dogs, from 2 months old all the way up to 15 years old. Neighbours have relied on me to take their dogs for walks, check in on them throughout the day, and give them lots of cuddles! I am a university student, with a relatively flexible schedule. I am free any day after 5pm and have weekend availability. On other days of the week, i am available earlier than 5pm, but my schedule varies from day-to-day. Serena is fabulous & clearly has a love for dogs which helped put me at ease when leaving Beau; she was also more than happy to accommodate my request for a ‘meet & greet’ prior to his overnight stay so we could ensure everyone was comfortable. Beau was very well looked after during his stay and it was nice to receive updates from Serena throughout so we could enjoy our time away knowing Beau was happy. About: Animals have always been part of my life. Growing up, we always had dogs and other pets, and caring for animals has come naturally to me from a young age. For the last 10 years, our family shared our home with our much-loved French Bulldog, Woody. We recently lost him very suddenly, which left a huge hole in our hearts. While no dog could ever replace Woody, we're looking forward to opening our home to other dogs and giving them the same love, care and attention that he enjoyed. I've also regularly looked after friends' dogs, including a lovely Labrador who I cared for well into his senior years. This has given me experience with different personalities, routines and needs. My husband, Laszlo, is my additional caretaker and shares my love of dogs. Between us, there's usually someone at home to provide company, care and plenty of attention for our furry guests. What makes us different is that we only welcome dogs from one household at a time. Your dog will enjoy a relaxed family environment, a secure garden, walks to the nearby park, plenty of company and, if they're used to it, lots of sofa cuddles too! Dogs fit naturally into our family life. I work part-time weekdays (9am–1pm) and my husband works nights, so there's usually someone at home to keep your dog company. We live just a couple of minutes from the park, making it easy to fit walks, playtime and plenty of attention into every day. I care for every dog as if they were my own. Dogs staying with us become part of the family and are welcome to relax on the sofa, enjoy time in our secure garden, and join us for walks and play. I like to stick to each dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any special requirements.
