Solo Homeowner misses having a dog :(
Hello everyone - growing up we had family dogs but unfortunately my work means I cannot have one of my own (at the moment). Dog sitting is a great middle-ground as it keeps my needy nature occupied and I can provide a service to help others. I live alone, with a neat and tidy full fenced garden and a river walk just down the road for interesting countryside escapes and adventures. Since starting on Rover I have taken care of puppies, senior dogs, rescues and even pairs of dogs and feel confident with all. As a preference I prefer to arrange a meet and greet in advance but I understand this is not always possible.

Our dog Luna has had a fantastic time staying with Thomas. She enjoyed plenty of attention, walks and time outdoors. Thomas clearly loves dogs and we appreciated his updates, videos and photos. We picked up a very happy dog. I’d highly recommend Thomas and he’ll be our first choice if we go away again. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tom was absolutely wonderful with BoBo! Our miniature Dachshund can be quite a nervous soul in new places, but Tom's patient approach meant he settled in no time. He followed every instruction perfectly and the frequent photo/video updates were such a lovely touch that kept us totally stress-free. We picked up a very happy pup and will definitely be booking Tom again!
I would happily recommend Thomas. We did a meet and greet and communication was great. We got picture updates of what looked like a very happy dog.
I was very nervous about leaving my American bulldog/Staffie cross with someone for the first time given he’d had such a difficult past before joining my family, but he met Tom and seemed very comfortable in his home within minutes of arriving. Tom gave me a number of updates about my dog’s adventures and plenty of photos to support this. It was really appreciated and put my mind at ease whilst I away on holiday. He was taken for plenty of walks and had a lovely time. I would highly recommend Tom and will definitely look to him again when I go somewhere dogs are not allowed
Thomas was very easy to talk to and get hold of when arranging the stay for my dog. It was the first time I’d used Rover and first time for my dog to stay with any sitter. Thomas provided guidance and seemed very caring about my dog to put me at ease. The stay went well so would highly recommend Thomas,

I work from home, computer based with flexi time. I always get up early so if your dog has early schedules this is fine for me :)

Fully fenced garden - older furniture downstairs as I have not renovated yet so I don't mind dogs on the sofa - if you have a blanket I can put on it that's preferred but I also have spares.
Typowy dzień
Walks will be either along the river (footpath) or in one of the number of parks around me. By the river is better on the lead so the monsters dont go swimming, but again leads and no leads will depend on your requests.

- Before sitting for a dog I love to know their playing style, do they like fetch, pullies, a little rough and tumble. I want to make sure the dog enjoys their time with me. It may be they just like to relax and sleep, that's fine too :)
