About: We are a wife-and-wife team (Lauren & Deepshikha) with lifetime experience owning, loving, and caring for both cats and dogs. Having grown up surrounded by pets, reading animal body language and sticking to daily routines comes naturally to us. What really sets us apart is our confidence and experience with large, strong breeds. We love active, high energy dogs that need long walks, plenty of playtime, and clear, calm handling. Whether it's giving double the affection to a playful rescue cat or giving a large dog the exercise and attention they thrive on, your pets will always get 100% of our care and focus. Lauren & Deepshikha I work full-time from home, and my wife works part-time which means there is almost always someone in the house! This setup allows us to offer constant companionship, regular garden breaks, midday walks, and steady supervision. We have excellent flexibility throughout the week, evenings, and weekends. Your pet’s safety and home security are our top priorities. When housesitting or providing drop in visits, we treat your property with complete respect, follow your exact feeding and house rules, and keep your pets safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. During walks, we keep dogs securely on lead, stick strictly to your instructions, and keep you updated with photos after every visit.

About: We’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old including my own dog for 7 years. I’ve looked after friends & families dogs when they’ve gone away and regularly let my sisters dog out. I’ve been around dogs of all sizes, from a pug all the way up to a Great Dane. I currently work part time, so off Monday, Thursdays and Friday. Your dogs will be loved and looked after as if they were my own, with lots of company while you’re at work. I will give your pups the love and attention they need whilst your away, catering walks to their needs, whether it’s a short walk round the block or hours playing over the field and adventuring round the area.

About: I’m a 19-year-old university student who has grown up surrounded by animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I have plenty of free time around my studies, so I’m able to offer flexible and reliable pet care. I’ve spent many of my summer holidays walking dogs for family and friends, keeping myself busy while doing something I truly enjoy. I’m also on my own fitness journey, so getting out for longer walks is something I actively enjoy — making dog walking a perfect combination of exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals. I’m comfortable around animals of all ages and personalities, and my experience goes beyond dogs: my cat has kittens several times a year, so I’m very familiar with caring for young, delicate animals and understand the patience, gentleness and attention they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved and well cared for while they’re with me. As a university student, my schedule can be more flexible than a typical 9–5, meaning I can often give your dog plenty of time and attention throughout the day. Pet care serves as a wonderful break from my studies and allows me to spend time with animals which is my favourite hobby. I have a fenced garden, safe home and smoke-free environment. My cat is outdoors for most of the day, but is friendly and has been around dogs many times before with no issue. Whether your dog wants a two-hour adventure, a game of fetch in the garden, or simply someone to curl up beside, I’m happy to work around what makes them comfortable. About: My aim is to make sure your dog is happy, loved, entertained, walked and fed in the same way as if they were at home. I work from home so am here all day to look after your dog as I do my own gorgeous golden retriever, Stan. I wake up early (06:30) to say hi, provide breakfast, and let Stan and your lovely dog out in our safe garden followed by a cuddle. Then we’re out for a walk in the lovely open spaces on our doorstep. If it’s the weekend - and your dog is keen - we’ll go to the beach for a swim or paddle! Otherwise happy to stick to our lovely countryside walks :) Chill time then playtime in the garden followed by another walk later. Then dinner and an evening play and chill whilst we cook dinner and relax at home with Stan and his pal :) I have my own 7 year old golden retriever, Stan who is very chilled and gets on with all dogs and humans! We have a spacious home with a fenced garden. There are lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and we like to go to the beach for a swim or paddle too! Stan is my third child! I have two grown up kids at uni. Freddie, 22 and Poppy 20. I will look after your dog as if he were part of our family.

About: I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel who loves to play! She is amazing with other dogs of all ages. I owned a dogs growing up and often look after friend's dogs. I've looked after big dogs like Rottweilers and German shepards as well as smaller dogs and as long as they are friendly, all are welcome. I do have a toddler at home on Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends so child friendly dogs only. I work from home most days but generally in the office on a Monday and sometimes on Thursdays. I can walk dogs during the day when working from home and some evenings if necessary. I have a fenced garden and your dog would be able to come in and out with no problem. I'm not far from country park so big walks are possible as well as shorter routes. I work from home 3 days a week and I'm off on Tuesdays and Fridays so your dog will have lots of company. I can offer pre-work, lunchtime and post work walks on those days and adventures on days when I'm not working. I have an enclosed garden and a stair gate if your dog if your dog is better in a restricted area. I have another dog for lots of play and company.

About: Unlike others, I am licensed with Colchester Council for boarding and daycare - this means you're insurance and my insurance remain valid whilst your dog stays here. This also means my home is inspected by the council regularly and your dogs remain as safe and as well loved as possible! I do have some forms you’ll need to complete to comply with licensing, but once they’re completed once, your dog can come back as many times as they like! Id love to have them for you 🥰🐾 A trial night for bookings 3 days or more are required and vaccines for DHP & Lepto are mandatory. ▪️I provide a calm, safe, home-from-home environment for your dog while you’re away -whether that’s for daycare or longer stays 🤍 Dogs are given space to settle, play, and relax at their own pace in a quiet, low-pressure home. ▪️I regularly foster behavioural dogs for rehabilitation, so I’m very comfortable working with nervous, quirky, or reactive dogs and always happy to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. ▪️At home I have two friendly sporting dogs - a collie and a whippet - who are both used to having visiting dogs stay with us 🌟 To keep things calm and safe, I only take a small number of dogs at a time. ▪️Meet & greets are always welcome, you’re very welcome to come inside and let your dog have a sniff around, however initial dog introductions will take place outside first - either in the garden on lead or preferably on a walk at our local park 🐶 I’ve found this helps keep everyone calm, relaxed, and set up for the best possible stay together - don’t hesitate to let me know if a different approach would work better for your dog though. ▪️I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away 💛 📸 You can find us on instagram at freya_and_friends_dogcare ▫️I work full time from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone 😊 We usually start the day with a walk around the local park or river, followed by a longer evening walk ☀️ ▫️If I have more than 3 dogs at a time (including my own), I’ll split walks to keep things calm and make sure everyone gets equal attention. About: I grew up on a farm looking after a mixture of working dogs and house dogs, from Collies, to King Charles Spaniels and Bernese Mountain dogs to looking after my friend’s dogs in London in recent years. I work full time (mon-fri), but usually only in the office once a week. My work life is very balanced, with protected lunch time and finishing on time so I’d have plenty of time for doggy toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have a garden as I’m in a flat but have plenty of green space and parks nearby. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them.

About: I've always adored animals of all kinds. I've grown up with lots of different pets and now I have 4 cats and previously had dogs. I have done pet sitting and dog walking for around 3 years now I'm currently working part time so have plenty of time to pet sit and dog walk around my everyday routine. I am available most days and can do 2 jobs per day whether that's 2 drop in visits or 2 dog walks. I will ensure safety at all times whilst you're fur babies are in my care. On the lead walking at all times and enduring doors are kept shut when pet sitting.

About: Myself and my partner have just started our own business (CW Pet Sitting), we have been around dogs and cats since a young age, I have owned multiple different dogs and we currently have 3 cats. They are well loved and given loads of attention. We have a passion for looking after animals and we always ensure the pets are happy and very attentive to their needs. We are available on a full time basis so I can visit the pets at any time of the day for however many days you require. When we go to the pet owners home, we ensure all needs are taken of. We will ensure the litter trays are clean (if it’s a cat), we will ensure clean water and plenty of food is given. We will give the pet loads of fuss and attention, we would take the dog for a walk if required / let the dog outside to ensure their needs are met. We would make sure they are happy whilst the pet owner is away.

About: I just moved out of my mums house where I had a cat and a dog so am used to having animals in the house. Throughout my teens I did dog sitting for a family who had 5 dogs, all different sizes, and 3 cats. I would be in charge of feeding, letting them out, and playing with them/keeping them entertaining whilst the owners were on holidays. I work a full-time Monday-Friday, working from home on Tuesdays and Fridays so available throughout the entire day then. I would be available weekday evenings for boarding, but would prefer to board on weekends when I am free from other commitments. I am currently in a house share so am unable to board any pets in my own house. When I’m looking after your pet I will make sure to follow any schedule set so they can feel as comfortable as possible and stick to a routine they may be used to. I am also gentle with animals and not impatient.

About: I have grew up with a Labrador who I was mainly taking care of by myself. In recent years I have been helping my friends and family with looking after their pups. I have some experience with rescue dogs and also looking after four dogs at once. I am working from home with a fair amount of flexibility so I can look after your pup all day weekdays and weekends as well. I am living in a flat with no garden, however only 2 mins walk from a big park. My home is pet friendly as I do often look after dogs of my friends and family.

About: I have owned everything from dogs to a bearded dragon. Have had pets throughout my life looking after cats, dogs, fish, chinchillas and even a bearded dragon. Will treat them as my own and happy to care for them in all shapes and sizes. I work from home 3 days a week, therefore can accommodate any requirements. Between 7am and 7pm that your pet may have. Working from home gives me flexibility to adapt my schedule around your pets needs As a pet owner and pet lover, my initial thoughts are always to treat your pet exactly how I would want my own pet to be treated! Similarly with the home or environment whether that’s my home or someone else’s, treating it with he same respect I would my own is always the first thing.

About: Grew up with sofa and frequently take care of friend and family pets. Love taking care of dogs who are playful, gentle and with good recall. Working from home 2-3 days a week in Colchester. This can change from week to week. Able to have overnight stays with a gentle dog. We walk our dog everyday. Have a fenced garden and have a very simple labour who tends to keep to himself, 4. Able to take on one additional dog for now.
