“Elena took our boy last minute and was fantastic. She made time for a meet and greet and spent some time playing tug of war to build a relationship. Our boy is a bit nervy around strangers but really bonded with her. She sent regular pupdates: lots of photos! I would definitely recommend her services.”

“Tom really looked after our Lily, even came to meet her before her walk with him, he was really communicative as what I would wanted him to do as she has specific personality traits! He was kind and caring picked up and dropped off absolutely fine. Tom is the man for your pooches walks. Thanks Tom. 😊”

About: I’m a 19-year-old university student who has grown up surrounded by animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I have plenty of free time around my studies, so I’m able to offer flexible and reliable pet care. I’ve spent many of my summer holidays walking dogs for family and friends, keeping myself busy while doing something I truly enjoy. I’m also on my own fitness journey, so getting out for longer walks is something I actively enjoy — making dog walking a perfect combination of exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals. I’m comfortable around animals of all ages and personalities, and my experience goes beyond dogs: my cat has kittens several times a year, so I’m very familiar with caring for young, delicate animals and understand the patience, gentleness and attention they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved and well cared for while they’re with me. As a university student, my schedule can be more flexible than a typical 9–5, meaning I can often give your dog plenty of time and attention throughout the day. Pet care serves as a wonderful break from my studies and allows me to spend time with animals which is my favourite hobby. I have a fenced garden, safe home and smoke-free environment. My cat is outdoors for most of the day, but is friendly and has been around dogs many times before with no issue. Whether your dog wants a two-hour adventure, a game of fetch in the garden, or simply someone to curl up beside, I’m happy to work around what makes them comfortable. If you choose me to take care of your furry friend, I guarantee regular updates, photos, my undivided attention and fast reply rates.
About: I grew up on a farm looking after a mixture of working dogs and house dogs, from Collies, to King Charles Spaniels and Bernese Mountain dogs to looking after my friend’s dogs in London in recent years. I work full time (mon-fri), but usually only in the office once a week. My work life is very balanced, with protected lunch time and finishing on time so I’d have plenty of time for doggy toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have a garden as I’m in a flat but have plenty of green space and parks nearby. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them.

About: I have been surrounded by animals throughout my life and have experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and fish. I have trained my own dogs in agility, achieving Grade 5, as well as in Obedience and Trick Dog disciplines, earning recognised titles along the way. I am passionate about animal welfare and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. I take pride in offering a reliable, professional service that enables more people to enjoy the companionship of dogs, with the confidence that their pets are receiving exceptional care. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility and availability to provide reliable, attentive care tailored to you and your pet's individual needs. I provide a safe, secure home environment with a fully fenced garden and two friendly, well-socialised dogs to keep your pet company. If preferred, I can also accommodate dogs that are crate trained or require crating as part of their routine. I offer both dog walking and home boarding services. Whether you need someone to take your dog for a local walk while you're at work or a caring home-from-home environment while you're away for a few days, you can be confident your pet will receive attentive, personalised care. I also have three children who have grown up around dogs and understand how to interact with them calmly and respectfully, helping to create a welcoming and family-friendly environment for your pet.
“Ebony was amazing with Huxley & was very attentive to his needs as a big 6 months old puppy. We would highly recommend and use her again in the future. Thank you for looking after our big boy!”

“Amanda is great. We spoke prior to her taking my two dogs for a walk whilst I was out. Amanda made sure they were all wrapped up as was chilly and took pictures as well as giving them some treats for good behaviour. Would highly recommend 🥰”

About: I had two dogs for 16 years who were so loved and cared for. Unfortunately they have both passed away now so I have a dog shaped hole in my heart. I am one of those people who sees a dog and just smiles. If I look after your doggy I can promise you I will care for them as if they were my own. They will be very welcome to share the sofa and there will be lots of tickling of the tummy! I love going out for walks with dogs and just really treating them like part of the family I have just retired from work so I have plenty of time. I do go out and about though so won’t necessarily be at home for the entire day. I have a fenced garden with grass. I live next to a large field where many people walk their dogs. My house does not have a road outside so it is very secure.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and have been walking dogs and dog sitting for years! I am an energetic person myself, so am happy to entertain high energy dogs as well as calmer, elderly ones too! My schedule is very open and flexible since I am a recent graduate working a remote job online. I have a lot of free time and can easily organise my week around the needs of your pet. I am happy to do walk in the morning, afternoon or evening and I am also happy to petsit overnight. My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels calm and happy with me. I am happy to follow any instructions regarding food, medication, walks and care. I will leave your home clean and can send any updates so you know your pet is well.
“Adrian is friendly and clearly knowledgeable about dogs he suggested a meet and greet before he started walking our dog which was nice. Our dog enjoys his walks with him and Adrian gives us lots of information post walk, which is brilliant. We will be using him again.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with many cats, and since I was little I’ve helped look after them, including taking in stray cats during my childhood. We also always had family dogs, and I loved spending time with them, playing, and taking them out for walks. In total, my whole family 5 dogs overall, so I’m very comfortable being around different breeds and personalities. I also have personal experience caring for a small tortoise named Frankie, so I’m used to looking after pets with different needs and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, care, and companionship. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I’m available for dog walks, home visits, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can be flexible to suit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to help with whatever is needed to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I live in a small two-bedroom house, and although I don’t have a garden, there is a small nature reserve area just behind my home that’s perfect for dog walks. There’s also a bigger park about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so there’s plenty of outdoor space and nature nearby for exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, safe environment.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Colchester
Klaudia is absolutely amazing. From the very first moment, it was clear that she doesn’t simply look after animals as a job – she genuinely cares about them and does it with her whole heart. The love, patience, and kindness she shows towards dogs are something special. You can immediately see that she truly understands animals and enjoys spending time with them. The updates and photos she sent gave me complete peace of mind and showed just how much attention and care she puts into what she does. One of my dogs is a senior and requires a little extra care, and Klaudia was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to his needs. Both of my dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly felt comfortable in her company. I would recommend Klaudia to anyone without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like members of their own family, look no further. Thank you so much, Klaudia – people like you are rare, and my dogs were lucky to spend time with you!
