About: Hi, I'm Charlotte! I've grown up with dogs, cats and other small animals, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. Alongside regularly walking dogs, my partner Joe and I also look after family and friends' pets whenever they need us to. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit or overnight care, we treat every pet as if they were our own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. We both work in the emergency services, so being reliable, trustworthy and dependable is second nature to us. We work around our shift patterns, which gives us flexibility to offer care throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings and weekends. We're based in Ardleigh, where we're lucky to have plenty of lovely countryside footpaths and quiet walking routes right on our doorstep. Whether your dog enjoys a gentle stroll or a longer adventure, we'll make sure they get the exercise, attention and care they deserve. We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and we'd love the opportunity to get to know both you and your furry friend. Our shift work gives us a flexible routine that works really well with pet care. As we both work in the emergency services, we have different shift patterns, meaning there is usually someone at home and we can plan our time around the needs of each pet. We love being outdoors and regularly enjoy going on walks and runs around the local countryside, so having a dog to join us makes it even better. We have plenty of lovely walking routes around Ardleigh and enjoy giving pets the exercise, attention and companionship they need. We also don't have any children or pets so our lifestyle is very flexible. We know that every pet is different, and nobody knows them better than their owner. Before looking after your pet, we’ll always take the time to learn about their routine, personality and what makes them feel happy and safe. We’ll follow your guidance so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. We have a secure, sizeable garden where they can enjoy some fresh air, play and explore safely. Our home is set back from the road, giving pets a quieter and safer environment, and we also have security cameras around the property for extra peace of mind. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, cuddles, exercise and downtime depending on what they’re used to. We understand that some pets need lots of interaction, while others prefer a little more space and a calm routine. When caring for pets in their own home, we know that staying in a familiar place can often be less stressful. We’ll keep to their normal routine, spend quality time with them and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Most importantly, we want your pet to feel happy and relaxed, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re being looked after by people who genuinely love animals.

“Hannah is definitely 5 stars! I am so happy I found her on this site. I have a huge 60kg Cane Corso called Kodak, so he is very strong and powerful (sorry Hannah lol). Nonetheless, Hannah is not phased by his weight and size and I feel very confident in Hannah’s ability to look after my boy. Hannah is sensible and makes the right choices for Kodak - for example, I live quite rural and my dog walks are on farms, Hannah uses her judgement on whether to let my boy off the lead or not and makes the correct choice dependent on whether there are other dog walkers and dogs (Kodak does not like other dogs at times). Hannah is always on time (earlier to have a chat with me about Kodak) and on their half an hour walk today, Hannah gave him an extra 10 minutes! Very grateful for that, thank you Hannah! Kodak took to Hannah straight away, wanting strokes from her and pressing up against her. He likes Hannah which gives me great peace of mind. I am definitely using Hannah again! About: I have a genuine love of animals and practical experience of caring for neighbours, friends and family pets. I also have theoretical knowledge a level 3 extended diploma in animal management. I am confident with daily walks, feeding schedules, following care instructions and making sure pets are safe, happy and always looked after whilst in my care. I am reliable, trustworthy and caring and will treat dogs as if they are my own. From Mondays to Fridays I currently volunteer for the Essex Wildlife Trust so I am flexible and free to dog walk and house sit your pets including at weekends. I train and play football for a local club but am happy to accommodate looking after your much loved pet around these commitments. From the beginning I will want to get to know your pet so I will spend time bonding with them, playing, talking and keeping them company. I know that pets like consistency so I will stay close to their normal routine which I will ensure I fully understand by asking for clear instructions from you. This includes knowing feeding times, portion sizes and any dietary needs and health requirements, where and when they are walked and their comfort toys and sleeping habits. I will add details of your vet to my pet plan should a medical emergency arise. If your pet uses your garden I will check that the gate is closed and the fences are secure before letting them out and I will then supervise and clean up their mess. I will send you regular updates and photos and of course report anything of concern immediately. I appreciate that it's not only your pet that I am responsible for but also your home which I will do my best to keep clean and tidy and follow any house rules that you give me.

I am reliable, punctual, and comfortable helping with basic pet care and companionship. I am currently a student with a flexible schedule outside of classes. About: After 21 years working for His Majesty's Prison and Probation service, I finally decided to follow my passion to care for dogs. Since I was 8 years old, I have loved and taken care of my own dogs and those that belong to friends and family. I know how much dogs mean to their families but know that circumstances often mean owners need support to walk or visit their four legged family members. I am qualified in Canine First Aid, it is vital to keep your pets safe and happy in my care. Pet care is my only job so I have plenty of time to visit your dogs (to play, feed, toilet break, cuddle them) or to walk them (ensuring the walk is tailored to their needs). When dogs are in my care I will ensure they are always safe whether it be on a leaded walk or in your home. I also offer supervised off-lead play in my secure garden if this is required for your dog.

About: Hello! We are a family of 5 (including our dog of course!) and we live in East Bergholt in a house with a large fenced garden. I’m a stay at home mum and my partner works from home. We can provide full time care for your dog while you’re away. Our dog is a friendly Vizsla boy who’d be overjoyed to share his space with another dog so they don’t feel lonely. About: I’ve absolutely loved dogs since I was a child. Growing up I owned a gorgeous Bichon Frise and in my early twenties I looked after my friend’s golden Labrador. He would stay with me during the week whilst I worked from home for multiple months. I now look after a lively cocker spaniel! I’ve had experience with dogs of different temperaments. I will absolutely love spending time with your dogs and I don’t charge extra for all the extra cuddles!! I’m currently having a career break so I am available most days except for Fridays. I am really flexible and can accommodate your specific needs. I am a very reliable and diligent person and will make every effort to ensure your dog feels safe with me. Being around dogs often I am able to read their body language and notice signs when they are uncomfortable and need space. I will also of course respect your home during any visits/ house sits.

About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂 My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. I therefore aim to make both you and your pet as comfortable as can be while you’re away and am very flexible to meets yours and their needs.

About: I grew up with pets so I know what it takes to keep them happy & healthy. I am very energetic and good at keeping control of the leash during walks. Beagles have a special place in my heart. I have owned birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, fish, and dogs. Dogs are the world's greatest friends. Having me as a dog walker/sitter will make you feel at ease because you know your dog is safe with me. I am very reliable, and have good references. I am available any day and time. I work from home, which provides a lot of flexibility and allows me to spend time with my dog and take care of others. I have a friendly beagle to keep your dog company. Dogs are allowed upstairs and on the furniture. My home is there home! There are quiet spaces provided if your dog prefers to be in its own environment.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals as I’ve grown up, unfortunately living in a flat and working full time I have not been able to have one of my own. However, I have looked after my friends pets and also used Borrow my Doggy so I could walk a dog and take care of one. I took particular care of one dog I bonded with for a couple of years and took him in for the day and would go walks and check in on him whilst his owner was at work. I have had a cat with a disability for 10 years however she has mainly stayed at my mother’s address whilst I moved for work and university. I have made sure when I look after medication needs, special diet and also check on her special care needs daily when I am back with her. I have also had to manage medical emergencies for her with taking her urgently to the vets multiple times. I currently take care of my housemates cat as well as also taking care of cats from a client I met on here for over a year with continued rebooks. I have a long term partner whom is fully vetted from his work and he helps support if required around my shift work to provide extra care for your little one. I am friendly and love to be around animals. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me! I currently work full time on a shift schedule, so I don’t always have the same days off working 6 days mornings or evenings on (about 8 hours) and 3 days off. I works shifts so the timing will vary when I work. My office is based in Chelmsford and I will be unable to leave during my shifts but I can do before and after work if needed. My partner is able to assist in between visits is required. I am happy to work around this if possible for you to ensure the best care for your little one! Message me for information about this! I will ensure that I maintain the routine you have set in your home for your little one and that their routine isn’t disturbed to ensure healthy habits!
